Hope you will be here in 4 years time to face the consequences of your actions today. All of us will go to the same market to buy food, we will buy fuel from the same filling station in Nigeria.... You will face the economic realities of Tinubu's APC government.... this is only the beginning.... I hope you've your agbadorian passport to buy fuel at N180 and mudu of rice at N100.... Your illegitimate president will preside over one of the most corrupt government in the history of Nigeria.... The igbo people will not be your problem by the time all is said and done....

Obi would have allowed the organ harvesters free hand into Nigeria with National medical bill his Igbo brothers in Senate like Ekweremadu, Ngige and Okowa packaged to pass into law.

Truly I see why Igbos shouldn't be trusted with power. No offence meant.

A group that can collect money from Pharma and Medical cartels to sell off organs of millions of Nigerians shouldn't be allowed near seat of power. Never, ever!

I am not expecting anything from APC as a party but I hope Tinubu proves me wrong though,, for the good of Nigeria as a whole.
It is only in Nigeria that such a shameful event as this can happen. You've an illegitimate president who will continue the terrible economic policies of Buhari's government. What do you think the man with a stolen mandate will do differently to prove you wrong?

This election was one of the most free and fair elections in Nigeria.

It was the first time politicians could not just manufacture results anyhow.

It is natural to feel sad that your candidate lost but that does not mean that the rest of us have to be ashamed for making the right decision.

Elections are not do or die. Don't get so bitter to the extent of having high BP
Today Nigeria is officially a banana republic... You should be ashamed of yourself

The shameful ceremony that was held today making Tinubu the 16th president is a confirmation of the death of democracy and whatever is left of morality in Nigeria. After what we have gone through in the last 8 years under Buhari, if this evil APC government is allowed to continue then we deserve whatever happens in future. All those celebrating Tinubu and Buhari over a stolen mandate and leaving negative memes, comments on thread condemning Tinubu's Swearing-in Ceremony will surely regret their utterances within the next 4 years. You and your families will bear the brunt of continuation of APC's disastrous economic policies. I can see that many of you Yorubas think that by abusing igbos, supporting Tinubu and APC's undemocratic action today will favour you because he is your "brother" (Typical Nigerian sentiments). I am sorry to say that you're in for a rude awakening... it is unfortunate that many Nigerian youths are hopelessly and helplessly tribalistic especially on political issues that involve their future and that of their children. Tinubu will only serve the interest of the foreign powers (USA, UK, France et al) and the Nigerian political elites that helped him to secure power. He has no moral burden to serve Nigerians since he didn't win the people's mandate. Ask the average Hausa or Fulani man in your neighbourhood what he thinks of Buhari's government and it is the same feeling like any other Nigerian facing the economic realities of his government. They didn't benefit and infact many of them today regret supporting his campaign in 2015. It will not be surprising that by this time next year some of you here screaming "ipob wailers" and "obi-diots" will be the ones crying and lamenting over Tinubu by the time he begins to dish out his evil policies. As I said in previous post, Nigerian youths must rise above ethnic and religious sentiments if we must save Nigeria. Tinubu's Swearing-in Ceremony is verdict on Nigeria. As it stands democracy and morality is dead.... Nigeria is now officially an immoral nation.... it is a shame.... A banana republic indeed....

We can't make any progress with the current system of government that only favours a few powerful people. We are only wasting our time and pretending.... Nigeria's current democracy is a scam.....

PoliticsTinubu, Another Evil Illegitimate President by Bebigiby1(op):
Nairaland deleted my last political post on Tinubu and only reinstated it after I made a post stating how biased the mods are regarding threads against Tinubu and 2023 presidential election. It is sad to see what is happening in Nigeria today. The evil men and enemies of Nigeria have all come out of hiding and are bent on destroying what is left of Nigeria and its dignity as a nation. Today, we are forced by Buhari's APC government to accept Tinubu, an illegitimate president-elect with shady history of crime as president. A man who also lied under oath in the form he submitted to INEC regarding his citizenship and his assets. Tinubu will be the worse thing to happen to Nigerians and Nigeria if he is sworn in on May 29, 2023. The reason I say this is because of the current situation of the country economically and socially. As a nation we can not afford another 4 or 8 years of another evil APC government, Tinubu's presidency will destroy what is left of our moral fabric.

If we must save this nation, Nigerians youths must rise above ethnic and religious sentiments to reject the enthronement of another evil APC government and demand for justice!

As it stands, Nigeria is on it's last lap and we may never recover as a nation if nothing is done to stop the destruction of our country by our evil leaders and their foreign collaborators. Nigeria appears to be a failed state today due to the rising cost of living, insecurity and political corruption caused by the draconian policies, looting of our common wealth and incompetance of Buhari and his governement in the last 8 years. A Tinubu's presidency will be the final nail in the coffin to a nation with debt ridden economy and corrupt government officials.

Before the presidential election I laid out my thought regarding the presidential election as a waste of time I warned Nigerians that we can not achieve any meaningful progress in this flawed system of government that promotes injustice and oppression. As I said in previous post, the only way forward to salvage what is left of Nigeria is to do away with this current system of government and replace it with a decentralized system of government where states are made autonomous and control it's resources with little or no Federal influence. If this is not feasible, we can go back to regional government system with a modern tune and a new constitution formed by the people of Nigeria.

The 2023 presidential election has shown Nigerians that our oppressors can not be removed through elections as they are not ready to relinquish power without a fight. These evil men and women in positions of power have perfected the art of "divide and rule" and they are ready to do whatever they can to maintain the status quo so don't be deceived, we can not have a free and fair election as long as they are in control.

Again I will state here that Nigeria will not work and can not work for the people of Nigeria as long as we practice a centralised system of government that enables the powerful few to continue to deceive the naive and sentimental majority. These people will continue to sing one Nigeria mantra to you as long as it favours them but will sing Igbo, Hausa/Fulani or Yoruba when their position of authority is under threat and to cover their evil deeds. How long are we going to continue to play their games while they plunder the nation's resources and destroy our institutions? Instead of protesting over election rigging which to me is a waste of time, let us protest for RESTRUCTURING. If there is anytime to fight for a restructured decentralised Nigeria, now will be a good time to start..... We can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.

As for the Obidients (Obi's supporters), I hope you've learnt something from this election... The democracy that was sold to us in 1999 is a SCAM and you can't elect good leaders through it.... A presidential centralized system of government can not work in a multi-ethnic, multi-linguistic, multi-religious, multi-cultural society like Nigeria. A decentralized system of government with strong regions is what we need for Nigeria to heal.....

Yes seen that while replaying the video. It is disturbing and there are people doing some kind of negotiation outside the chopper.

I thought this was a joke till I saw the white dusts on the floor indicating the boxed content is likely some cocaine. The white dust looks like sprinkles of cocaine the occupants had sampled.

Nigeria's President-elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, and the current Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu were spotted in a chopper in a viral video said to be in Guinea (exact location and time of recording the video unknown).

Many social media users are of the opinion that the controversial video clip is linked to alleged Tinubu's narcotics deals in Guinea.

Recall that earlier this week, an investigative journalist, David Hundayin released passport documents indicating that Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress leader and presidential candidate in the just concluded general elections acquired Guinea citizenship and didn't declare it in form EC9 which he submitted to INEC.

Section 117 of the Criminal Code Act:

Any person who, in any judicial proceeding, or for the purpose of instituting any judicial proceeding, knowingly gives false testimony touching any matter which is material to any question then pending in that proceedings, or intended to be raised in that proceeding, is guilty of an offence which is called perjury.....

Also section 118 of the Criminal Code reads: Any person who commits perjury is liable to imprisonment for fourteen years....

In order to prove perjury I guess Hundeyin or any other concerned Nigerian need to take the matter to a court of competent jurisdiction....
PoliticsRe: VIDEO: How Bola Tinubu Lied Under Oath Over 2023 Presidential Election by Bebigiby1(op): 3:44am On Apr 19, 2023
The issue is not only about dual citizenship as you may presume but it is about perjury. Tinubu's failure to disclose he had dual citizenship under oath is a criminal act if proven guilty....

mozes01:
dead on arrival please.
Section 28, however, excludes citizens by birth from restriction by section 137.

It states that “(1) Subject to the other provisions of this section, a person shall forfeit forthwith his Nigerian citizenship if, not being a citizen of Nigeria by birth, he acquires or retains the citizenship or nationality of a country, other than Nigeria, of which he is not a citizen by birth.

Interesting.... if the evidence presented is true then Tinubu is guilty of perjury and should be prosecuted. This is another test of Nigerian judicial system. I hope there are still good judges and lawyers in Nigeria.....

Investigative journalist David Hundeyin has accused Nigeria's President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu of committing perjury. He said this when he appeared on 90MinutesAfrica hosted by Rudolf Okonkwo on Sunday. During the interview, David Hundeyin revealed that Tinubu failed to declare in his form EC9 submitted to INEC that he obtained citizenship in Guinea.
