Even these bet naija scammers are not excluded. Some of them will open a thread by fabricating a story on politics section then add Igbos as headline, when you click you will see bet naija advert.

I was expecting the igbo Amaka crew to get an euphoric high, and I am not disappointed. The mere appearance of Tochukwu in the name of the girl and boom, euphoria. No further question ask as to whether she is actually igbo or not. I never knew igbos are surnamed Phillips. They did not even bother to ask further what grading system was used where she scored 6.9 GPA out of 4.

This racist or tribal profiling of foreign citizen, just because they bear a resemblance of igbo name would one day cause problems for the igbo nation. Instead of celebrating the achievements as an American feat (the girl might not even identify with igbo), they promote the girls achievement as a black igbo feat. How, do you think the Americans that gave her the opportunity to feel? I have never seen captions like whites are superior to others, because of one or a few white people's individual feat. Neither Asians, Indians and even Arabs. But some igbos have this psychological need to prove superiority based on individual efforts of others.

Guys, see what Igbos are saying about Emefiele simply because Buhari gave him a second term.

If he was removed in favour of a northerner or a SW appointee, these same Igbos would accuse Buhari of tribalism and the SW of betrayal.

I think the hatred Igbos radiate is what is punishing Igboland.

secondly, oil is still a major source of income for many oil producing countries that is why they formed a very strong catel called opec and also oil is still the means to power machinery all over the world..do you think solar energy can power factories..lol..oil will still be very useful in the next 40 years..what we should be talking about is taking advantage of our cheap labours so that international brands that wanna cut cost can outsource some of their manufacturing to us just like what they do in Bangladesh, china, Vietnam and other Asian countries.

high birth rate doesn't necessarily affect any development..what matters most is proper planning..china and India has proven that having a high birth rate can make you a superpower and a big market.

Lol you don't still get the point. Rwanda pass rivers in everything. Rivers is a state in a nation. Which makes it limited to doing somethings. How many containers land in their sea port.?? 98% of containers coming to Nigeria land in Oshodi. I think this argument is vague and baseless.
lol...now u are getting my baseless argument.

amaniro:
The land mass of Rwanda is way bigger than Rivers. Rwanda is a country. Rivers is state. I don't get the comparison.
its not way bigger if u realise that rivers state has access to sea and large oil and gas which rwanda lack.

Rwanda is 2wice rivers in landmas while rivers gets the same amount of money like rwanda. Check the infrastructure.

The point is...an oil-rich entity with sea access vs a resource poor entity without sea access...similar population....yet rwanda is doing better

What is there to be compared? Size, population, GDP??

Ayam not understanding
well everything. Rivers state has enough oil revenues to be a johanesburg.

In 2018...rivers passed a budget of approximately 2 billion usd while rwanda passed a budget of 2.7 billion usd.

Compare how the 2 entities look...in terms of infrastructure and security
Politics › Re: Comparing Rivers State And Rwanda (PHOTOS) by Bede2u(op):
Analysis

Though landlocked and densely populated, Rwanda is a developing country that has undergone rapid industrialisation thanks to successful government policy. Since the early-2000s, Rwanda has witnessed an economic boom improving the living standards of many Rwandans. The Government’s progressive visions have been the catalyst for the fast transforming economy. The President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, has noted his ambition to make Rwanda the "Singapore of Africa".

Bounded by the Atlantic ocean and having large deposits of hydro carbon, glass and silica sand, Rivers state is one of the most naturally endowed parts of Africa. It produces 50% of Nigeria's crude oil. However from the statistics above, it is clear that life in this very beautiful part of Africa is not better than life in Rwanda which has very little natural resources and land.

It shows again why seperatism in Nigeria is not a bad politics. Nigeria is too large and diverse to cordinate and develope a modern society. Ethnic tensions and religious intolerance contributes to keep the beautiful people of Nigeria down.

The South East of Nigeria which has clamoured for Biafra for years are always reminded that they are landlocked and with little oil. But here is Rwanda, a landlocked African Nation without resources (except its beautiful people) that survived a brutal genocide, gradually draging itself out of poverty without oil.

Think on this today.

all i read here are gross misinformation. U dont know anyone of them who faced bias and ran back do u? They visit. I visit too. Nigeria is sweet when u have ur visa and flight ticket ready.

2nd niggers are blacks...whether taken into slavery or not. We developed late and that affects us. That is why the poorest countries are black majority countries despite huge resources. Knowing where u come from means nothing. Most african americans live better lives and have better opportunities than the so called africans with roots living in africa. U say nigeria's problem is the people? Wat do u think i was talking about! Go to gabon and see beautiful country with beautiful people.

Even if oil remains relevant till next 1000 years the fact is that nigeria's reserve will finish in the next 30 years given current mining rate. Wat do u plan to depend on after? We are having our best years and we are not utilising it well. Our children will really curse us when they read that nigeria once had oil

India and china dont have high birth rate. They have high population...not the same thing.
We are growing faster than our economy...china and india economy are growing faster than their population and its even bad for china they had to stop their one child policy.

We are in deep poo bro...realising it is the 1st step to doing something radical to stop our problems getting worse
