nicepoker101: if you know the right channel to tap from. Then you will know the country has enormous resources to boost the economy. Nigeria is a developing country. If we don't join hands to develop the place who will? Those countries people are running to who made the place habitable for foreigners. nigeria will not develope with the current feeding bottle structure...and guess wat? The north doesnt care. Their religion believes wealth is only from God and that poverty is God's decision. If we go back to the 1963 constitution using the 6 geoplolitical zone and reducing fg's influence to a few things...then we will start devoloping like Ghana. If u go to cameroon...u can stay for 3 weeks without power outage...yet we are the largest producer of oil in africa...do u now understand why Africa is not the problem..nigeria specifically is. And ppl like Buhariguy above like the status quo. They call it quotasystem.... the best thing that happened to hausa ppl was the 1966 coup...it gave them the pretence they needed to befall the country like heavy weight |

This is a common sight in developing countries na. You should be more appreciative of the cooperation.
People also queue up just to buy akara from Mama Salamatu every morning so that's no an issue. Not yet. the poor mentality shown on this post. Am sure u are an apc supporter. Will it be rocket science to buy those tickets online? Or another faster way? |

GavelSlam: The choice of words are quite local, probably from the depths of an uneducated apprentice in Nnewi or Mokola.
In addition, no geologist can tell you with certainty what's going on in a sedimentary basin until investigations are carried out.
Usually such investigations require drilling which is what NNPC is doing right now. u are right. Let me ask u bro...if the north discovers oil that is very large...will the north clamour for their separate country? U have abuja...u have land and u already have baro river port in niger state... Will u want to go on ur own? I feel most southerners will want that. Wats ur take? |

Another mistake loading....APC can only expel them from APC...they will still be senators and they will decamp to pdp with their followers and take NASS from APC again.
Thats wat happens when 2 political mugus like Tinubu and Buhari are running the country. Tinubu's claim to political mastery is due to yoruba need to always have an 'Asiwaju' ethnic champion. They hoped the detribalised Obj would fill that gap...when he didnt and when Abiola died, Tinubu became the natural chioce.
Buhari's claim to political mastery is simply because of shariah.
The real politicians are abacha, ibb and obj...others are ethnic champs |

IGBO ama eze,Those kings You are running to have no power over lands in igboland.Meet the families that owns the land not the king.
Igbos have been known to destroy gods that have outlived Their usefulness, ofoziekwa kings installed by them our people have a saying that when an oracle starts misbehaving, he will be shown the tree it was carved from. That was wat happened to Akpabio...and that is wat will happen to any leader who gives out igbo land to fulanis for cattle ranching However I appreciate the enterprise of the hausa community. The New artisan market along Enu-ph express is an hausa market...we have not had any problem with them. U can go there and do anything...or buy anything and even Bleep their nyarinyas in their hijab for 500 naira. Nnewi should gv them 2 plots for burial ground at 3 million each if they can afford it...and a market of about 10 plots at same price...then ensure that a local vigilante is set up there to monitor their activities. We need to do these things for the north as a sign of good faith. They are the one tribe outside igbos who invest a lot in igboland...and we want them to continue and we want them to accomodate our traders up north too. Shalom ¥ |

gidgiddy: Most Igbos are not too bothered about the presidency of Nigeria, they know that there are other things that are far more important than that such as restructuring and self determination
Igbos have also watch for the last 50 years and seen that the office of the president has not helped those who who have held in the past, that much. The only Igbos who talk about Igbo presidency are the greedy politicians amongst them who want to get it such as Okorocha.
The mind of the Igbo man is business-like, the vast majority of Igbos don't care about presidency any more, it is not what will put food on the table christiannorth wat many of u dont even realise is that most northerners and many yorubas believe gej is igbo...yet he won 2011. Forget the few politically aware people here...most nigerian voters want good governance. Abiola did not win because he was yoruba...he won because his campaign spoke to more nigerians...atiku didnt lose because of peter obi...he lost because he is percieved as corrupt. |

jomonic: It's about doing the right things not necessarily closing gaps. Closing gap with the south might also involve doing things to slow the south down which will not lead to progress. that is wat they did from 1967 to 1999 wen they ruled as military dictators. They slowed the south down and enthroned poverty all over the country. A country that was withnessing great development in the south during regional era. They truncated the 4 regions with 12, 19, 21, 30 and 36 irrelivant states...all geared up towards giving north greater share of oil wealth from the south. I read events that happened from 1945 to 1960 in Nigerian politics and realised that the problem called north didnt start today. |

Khaleell001: I am a southerner by birth, by resident and by my language. Is there anywhere in any book where it is wrtten that every southern must be a Christian or a follower of African traditional religion?
See small pikin reasoning?
I have gone past that aspect of terming a religion bad because some hit heads did something bad.
If I were to use your logic of generality of crime. Will UT be right for me to say all southerners are fraudsters because many youths now engage in it?
Will it be right for me to say that all South Westerners (Yorubas) are skull miners (as is popular among Nairalanders) because some of their people engage in it?
Will be right for me to term all Ibos blood ritualist because some Ibos do it?
It is only a bigot and a confused insular scallywag that will still say Islām is a religion of terrorism when I,my parents, grand parents, uncles, aunties and relatives and my community at large have not even killed a mouse because of conversion.
We rather disown such person than kill them. So, your insults or labels will not change anything. i have lived in the middle east so u cant tell me about islam...i will tell u. And i tell u now that islam radicalises easily...however...it radicalises people who have a culture that could easily make them targets of radicalisation. The yorubas are muslims but they are not as radical as the core northerners. because they are more educated than the core northerners. While i have my reservation with islam...i believe that illiteracy in the north is the bigger problem |

Khaleell001: Oga,shift go side make we see front. As if your opinion matter. Whether you like the north or not, the fact remains that the Ibos are the most tribalistic of all tribes I know. You show it everywhere you go. On social media it is even worse. You people hate the north yet, your brothers are flocking there to have a live yet you intolerantly call them intolerable. Because when it suits your narrative you Ibos, are intolerant, but when it goes the other way, the northerners become the biblical wolves in sheep clothing.
One thing Ibos should understand is, nobody has monopoly over tribal bigotry you display all the time.
Your people once claimed Lagos a Yoruba enclave to be "no man's land" which did sit well with many Yorubas including your darling and in-law FFK.
All I am saying is, Ibos should learn to tolerate others before they expect tolerance from other people. You can't belittle me in my place and expect me to praise you. We are not foolish.
Mind you, I am not a Yoruba or an Hausa, but Niger Deltan from Edo state. Lol...igbos are not the most intolerate. U even said in ur post that there are many igbos in the north. Also there are many many many hausas in the east. In fact every street in the east has hausa person living there. Have u ever heard that we killed them or protest against them or insult them offline? No! Yet igbos in the north have been killed in their thousands and millions since 1930s...unprovoked. Ofcourse u can even be from china for all i care but i knw it is the APC in u that is talking...a political party that has igbo hate as manifesto. Shame. But alas most of u southern igbo haters will rather do NYSC in the east than in the north. Lol isnt God wonderful? |
