Let me ask the OP.. is it a bad thing for nigeria to disintegrate? A country that has never worked. It was after korea disintegrated that south korea started progressing. Irish republic started progressing when they left u.k.

What are u one nigerianist gaining from nigeria?

The man has not done much to set Nigeria on a development part. Majority of wat Nigeria needs is a restructure of the factors of production (land, labour, capital and entreprenourship) and security in such a way that regions and local govt control them

Doing the same tins over will yield same results. There is nothing buhari is doing now that pdp didnt do.

If u want to get nigeria working, go back to pre independence constitution which was derailed by shortsightedness. Research and discover how western nations work. Educate the masses with western education and introduce western ideas and models into nigeria. It worked for South Africa...it worked for Dubai...it worked for japan and for malaysia.

Reshape and remodel the system to work. Stop painting over dirt
Politics › Re: Tinubu Absent As Buhari Hosts APC National Caucus Meeting by Bede2u(m): 10:55pm On Mar 26, 2018
Tinubu cant lead the South nor the yorubas....neither can GEJ. We need a pro south politician like Buhari is pro north. Someone who will look Arewa in the face and tell them to eat shit. Someone as fearless as Obasanjo or Nnamdi kanu...but as powerful as Tinubu.
Who is that?

Exactly if the Arewa dont respect rule of law and the basic tenets of democracy then a Federal Republic of Southern Nigeria it is..
They wont.
Tinubu should be more pro south and lead the way. A pro south party should be formed and the southern gov forum together with southern senators should threaten session in a joint statement if the north rejects restructure.

This is how a codinated action will lead to Federal Republic of S. Nigeria

America even does worse. Its FIFA position we should be more concerned about.

These countries are bringing external politics to football.
Football should not be used in any guise to score political points but continue to be a bridge builder like the world cup.
What u said is church. U.S is the only country to ever use Atom bomb. See as them dey form saviour of the world. The had the highest emission for over a century. All the bombs showered at vietnam are still exploding till date.

Why are we afraid of a Federal Republic of South Nigeria?
We have lagos
We have the smart yorubas.
We have the industrious Igbos and their coal and limestone (my people)
We have the beautiful ibibios
And the oil rich Ijaws
We would surpass south africa within 10 years while Nigeria (the 19 northern states)go dey battle with Niger republic who go mumu pass.

Oga if you are looking for fight go find who offended you. What did we do to you?
The north has offended every tribe in Nigeria.
1. Igbo army officers did a coup. In response the north retaliated. Ok fine. But why did they start killing civilian easterners in a pogrom? Pple who whr not part of the first coup?
2. Why did u starve igbos during the civil war. Is that not war crime? Why not face biafran soldiers in battle and leave civilians alone. Cowards.
3. Why did u annul june 12 election because a southerner won a northerner. Millions were wasted by abiola and u later killed him.
4. Why kill kudirat and members of Nadeco?
5. Why kill ken sarowiwa dele giwa and other niger delta activists who spoke against northern theft of southern oil?
6. Why have u been sharing niger delta oil amongst ur unproductive states.
7. Why did u all change nigeria's 1960 regional structure. If Aguiyi ironsi brought unitary system to help him effectively control the country, did he also create the 1st 12 states and did he also create the devilish 1979 pro north constitution.
8. Why are cattle rearers destroying middle belt and southerners farms. Why have they never destroyed a farm in kano?
9. Why are armed fulani criminals killing people across the country.
10. Why is buhari not waging a war against fulani ethnic cleansing of the middle belt and south?
11. Why are u guys voting down restructure and why have fulani dominated fg refused to implement confab report. Or at least send it to nass for debate.

We will one day all unite against u. It will only take one charismatic southern politician.

Yoruba muslims will only fight when it is of strict tribal interests! But when it is for national interests or collective southern interests against the north, I doubt they will. Can't you see what people like Ishaq Akintola of Muric are doing?

As soon as Hausa fulanis claim that the christians are against muslims in Nigeria, watch how yoruba muslims and Kogi muslims and other middlebelt muslims will drop this southern unity sharp sharp!

Yoruba muslims can only stand against Hausas when it is a strict Hausa vs Yoruba issue.

Only when a very ruthless crop of pro-southern Yoruba leaders take over yoruba land before yoruba muslims can ever value a united southern alliance over Islamic bond, not with people like Tinubu leading the yorubas.
their fears are they dont want an overwhemingly christian republic of south nigeria...where they would be minority. Baseless fear if u ask me. However, a strong leader like tinubu who is pro south. A leader respected like tinubu in the west and respected by igbos for being pro south can rally every southerner just as nnamdi kanu rallied every igboman (including me)

Meanwhile which part of mb are u from

A united south can never be possible, not with yoruba muslims.

Also, a united south can never withstand a united north. Kpata kpata e go end for war. And if you think the yorubas will be willing to go for any war, then you are on a long thing.
First of all is this....the yoruba muslims u mentioned fought an intelectual war against the north after june 12. It tells u that yoruba muslims can go against the north when it suits them.
Secondly is this...the north is no longer united. Kwara, benue, taraba, kogi and jos may most likely not find the leader who would rally them again for the core north like in the olden days and like in 2015
3rdly....yorubas helped the north to fight biafra...yorubas helped the north to organise coups up on coups in this country and yorubas were part of military juntas... i dare say they can fight when they aint being cowardly. Are they not the ruthless ogun skull miners?
4thly a united south will go all out against the north, with 60 years anger of collective injury from the north.
SE will remember the civil war injuries. SW will remember the june 12 injury. SS will remember their oil that the north took from them. Collectively the south will remember that it is kill or be killed. The south will win.

The north has spoken proportionately as regards the secession. Need I remind you the Kaduna Declaration?
All this gra gra will not achieve anything, if you think you can bully the north just because you own the media think again. The best way is to approach everything with diplomacy. Assure the north about benefits of restructuring, get a compromise, make trade offs and things. That's the way to go. But shouting north is parasite doesn't change the fact that more than 60% percent of the rest of the south also depend on the current arrangements for their survival, governors like Ebonyi state governor have de that abundantly clear.
Mehn I wish the south can unite against the north. I dont want u guys to agree to restructure just yet. I want u to thirst the fury of a united south first. So u can understand the wickedness in the hearts of an ogoni, Ngwa and ijebu killer

Begging you? We are compelling you. Did you hear me say please?
lol. See impetus. One day sha....a southern revolution go still happen in this country. It is getting ever closer.

Let me tell u why it will succeed this time around.
1. We are now in a democracy. The north no longer rules absolutely thru the military.

2. Southern presidents like obj and gej have diluted norths strong hold in the military.

3. Social media has exposed the south to the wickedness of the north. And it is a powerful rallying tool.

3. The north has lost benue and kwara and its fast losing taraba and south kaduna.

4. The se and ss are still politically united more than ever.

5. The south west is now begining to see from buhari that north is not a good ally.

6. The southern gov forum has restarted.

My guy...keep being a smart mouth. The north is not loved in the nigeria of today and will soon feel the wrath of the south

It s painful that it's so hard to get up the ladder in Nigeria of today especially if you have no tie with influential and the elite of the day. My dad told us how things were really working in Nigeria in the 70's like Oga Jim just said. Even people who schooled abroad came back Nigeria immediately after their education because the country was so hopeful and organized.

Compared to what we have today. Nigeria no longer work for the young generation. Our youth end up as yahoo boys, prostitutes, financial ritualist, political thugs.... It's so painful that the people that are wrecking the country now are those tge country worked for in the 70's.

Oga Jim, thanks for sharing, Sir.
The reason is simple; aboki took over the nation and between 1967 to 1999 turned it to AbokiLand. The country is only now trying to recover those lost years. It can only truely recover if we take away power from aboki
