moneywealt: THE FAILED ORDER TO EKITI PEOPLE AND THE SINKING SHIP OF THE UNSUNG 'EBORA TO N JE BAILOUT'
A lot of agitations by progressive minded folks of recent has tilted towards the goal of saving Ekiti people from the doldrums of political and economic meltdown precipitated by the present administration led by Fayose/Eleka as well as to return the pristine identity and academic values the state is known for back to the hey days of the last two decades.
We have always cry blue murder over the ill perception of our people being too gullible and easily adaptive to pauperism tokenism created by the divisive, deceptive nature of the unsung masquerade called 'Ebora to n je bailout'. Even if, the timeless values of honor, dignity, nobility and civility encapsulated in the Omoluabi ethos have been eroded in the last 3 and half years but we also need to applaud the fact that finally, Ekiti people had shown that they are tired of his diversionary antics and his melo-dramatic political tirades.
It is an incontrovertible fact that the present administration of Fayose had enjoyed all sort of unprecedented windfall from the days of GEJ when oil barrel was sold for $100 and over N21Bn was given to him for Small and Medium Entrepreneurship development but unaccounted for coupled with the financial largess by PMB which was actually given out with sole aim of payments of backlog of salaries and wages owed workers nationwide. It came in form of two tranches of bailout that was valued at N9.7Bn and N9.4Bn coupled with the Paris fund of N10Bn.
Yet as i write, there is massive hunger in the land because core civil servants are owed 7 months, LG workers 10 months, community health workers had not gotten 10 month arrears, Pensioners are not smiling to the bank for over 10 months yet the masquerade who had eaten up all the bailouts is dancing around the truth creating all sort of diversionary encumbearances. The truth is if not for the advent of boys on the wire, a lot of economic activities would have shut down totally.
The latest records from the Debt Management Office(DMO) shows that the current administration has borrowed N56Bn since coming to power as against the misconception that JKF had borrowed much more. He mismanaged those funds by sky-rocketing the value of his projects thereby causing untold hardship on the people of the State. Funny enough, a lot of his illiterate sympathizers who had been hoodwinked with Cock-and-Bull stories had not find time to check facts and figures.
How do you expect someone owed salaries and impoverished by the same bailout eating masquerade to come out voting for his baby, Eleka in furtherance of poverty. Perhaps, he assumed that Ekiti people do not understand that the dynamics of continuity as preached by him is actually a decoy to save him from giving a proper account of his stewardship and the fear of facing the looming gauntlet hanging around his neck.
Trust me, a lot of us know the truth and will not hesitate to do the needful this Saturday, July 14th no matter what the fearful propagandist says on radio or television with trepidation because he knows that there is no hiding place for him anymore. He did everything humanly possible to dissuade Ekiti people from attending the final rally of the incoming Governor of immense value, erudite scholar, Dr John Kayode Fayemi by asking shops to close up plus the orthodox stay-at-home order given to commercial vehicles but Ekiti people rose to say no to that dictatorial nuance by coming out in large numbers to welcome President Muhamadu Buhari and to signify their support for a true change of baton.
We hail Ekiti people from the 16 Local Government Areas for stamping the seal of approval over the quest of our 'Ilufemiloye' son, Dr John Kayode Fayemi to restore our dignity as well as make poverty eradication, education and healthcare delivery the focal point of his 8 point agenda of Governance, Infrastructural Development, Modernizing Agriculture, Education and Human Capital Development, Health Care Services, Industrial Development, Tourism Development, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment.
Nigerian Football is Having some Degree of Respect and Recongnition! Chris Giwa and Dalong should sweats their Sword and bind those Demons that wanna use them to Throw Nigerian Football backwards!!
greatman247: You called and congratulate someone in an election implies you TOTALLY agreed that there was no rigging? You can accept the outcome of an election but don't mean you agreed that the election was perfect.
Turkey election, even when the President got re-elected his close rival congratulated him for winning but still went on to say though he congratulated him does not mean he agreed with the election that it devoid of irregularities. He said that the election was far from from being perfect as most persons think but he will only accepted the outcome Cos he has no other option and that the president remains his leader and enjoined people to support the president.
GEJ called and congratulated Buhari in 2015, does it means GEJ agreed that the election was free and fair enough? He said it too. But he have no one but himself to blame for the outcome cos he was the incumbent president who organized the election, he was the one who appointed INEC Chairman, what stops him to have put his brother from South South? But he chose to put Northerner in such a sensitive office. So he have no option and no one else to blame.
So I support no political parties in Nigeria but my point is, all or most politicians in Nigeria rig elections. Rigging is part of our election, its a shame. So if Fayose puppet or Fayemi wins at the end of the day I don't want to hear rigging, the looser should accept and congratulate the other.
In Nigeria, the illustrations you gave were never Tenable...
Fayemi was the 1st Man in a very Long While to Congratulate his Rival.... He even said it was a free and fair Election... Days later he came back to retract his words after his party scolded him for doing such....
GoodLuck Jonathan(GOD Bless him) had always said that no blood is worth dying in an Election.....
Ekiti is a small state having an Election... this should be a very simple and calm Election....
Not the one where another Governor is threatening to deal with the governor of Ekiti...
APC as a Party needs to purge themselves... Everything about the APC is blood! Blood! Blood! It's not supposed to be so...
President GoodLuck Jonathan has set a Freat path in Election.... Let's Continue from that path.... Afterall No one will leave this earth with a Biro Cover....
Yahaya Bello, The Chief Executive of Kogi state, a State that is so impoverished and in turmoil is Busy with Another Man's State....
My Conclusion: Nigeria has Cursed Leaders.... Its Time we begin to Conciously Pray for The Death of Certain Leaders in our Country irrespective of party or Whatever..... Once you Continue to Continue to Display High Grade Madness and Foolishness, We have no option than to Request that you be cut off!!!
1. Fayose is street-wise. He deserves credit for that...
2. Fayose has lost a lot of his supporters lately (members of the House of Assembly, Senator of the largest senatorial district, members of the House of Reps, trusted two-time Attorney General, a long-term ally who he nominated as Minister under Jonathan, etc, etc). These people are grassroots mobilizers.
3. The Muslim community who he wanted to woo for votes by nominating a Muslim deputy governor candidate has openly told him that him antecedents (no single Commissioner, no single permanent secretaty, only one inconsequential adviser, no single Tutor-General, no single head of agency or parastatal, etc) clearly shows complete hatred and disdain for them despite their loud complains to him, hence they cannot be deceived to vote his ‘Muslim boy’ now in 2018.
4. Owing of salaries and pensions for as much as seven months is a major dent on Fayose’s hopes of winning for his party.
5. Every time Prof. Olusola Eleka had spoken since he became PDP candidate, I always wondered how the mightily reputable OAU Ife awarded him a PhD and Professorship. He’s completely bereft of ideas, shy, withdrawn, incoherent, and lacks confidence. Many people think he’s a conduit for 3rd term for Fayose. He will be a complete “remote control” of Fayose.
6. Lastly, and the MOST IMPORTANT point, IF APC’s goons (Buhari won’t support this though) do exactly what PDP did to Fayemi in 2014, ie arresting a large number of his supporters, foot soldiers, campaign managers, and putting crude fear in the minds of people thereby making many to stay indoors, using the Police and the Army (under the command of two Ministers- Musiliu Obanikoro of Defence and Jelili Adesiyan of Police Affairs), APC WILL WIN on Saturday!!!

OfficialAPCNig: If Fulani terrorists are wise, they would have waited till Buhari's 2nd term to launch their Jihadist campaign.
Fulani terrorists succeeded in opening another terror front in Adamawa.
NE is gone for Buhari. Taraba, Adamawa, Gombe and over 40% Bauchi (Bauchi Christians) is gone for Buhari.
He is left with only Borno and Yobe states.
In the North West he will lose part of Kano to Kwankwanso/Shekarau, Tambuwal tsunami will make him lose part of Sokoto, Shia moslems and Southern Kaduna make part of Kaduna a No-No for him, Lamido is holding huge part of Kaduna on lock down for him, Zamfara might switch if PDP presents a Northern ticket, few votes will come out of Kebbi because of her few Christian population.
Buhari will lose over 40% of his votes in NW.
Middle Belt, South East and South South are on lock down for PDP.
As usual, Igbos, some yoruba Christians, Northern Christians in the SW are holding 40% SW votes on lock down with Buhari's misrule and his alleged religious agenda, hopefully more yoruba christians will defect to the part of sanity.
At the International scene, President Trump and UK will be skeptical on supporting Buhari. So he just lost down.
OUK might be rallying up foreign Ambassadors to shore up his already battered international image.
But without US and UK, it is nothing but an exercise in futility.
Bottom line: The Bringers of Death are going back to their cows.
