I am Week 32 but measuring at 35. For this my small belle?

Been having braxton hicks so really taking things slowly as i don't want pre-term labour. Sent DH on a long break because i dey fear too much. The contractions are too frequent. But Scan says cervix is closed, baby is head down and still a boy. (Don't know why i keep asking at each scan as if the sex will change). To turn in bed is the issue. Will be turning like a Dangote trailer.

On a good note, my PCV has gone up to 34%. I thank God for His mercies. The ugu water and iron drink must have helped. To sleep in the night is war but i now sleep during the daytime so it kind of makes up for it.

ha, it's like you just described me, it's so annoying ehn. I stopped eating rice, spag, noodles, and anything like those foods cost of it, it will just hang in my chest and I won't feel good till I throw up

I force puke after eating cos i have a problem of regurgitation.
As in it could be 2 hours and the food will come back.
Imagine.
Even when i seat .
I wake up at night with food stuck in my throat... if i dont throw up, i wont be fine.

Worst of all is if i eat rice.
Its crazy.

I even throw up water i drank last night the next morning.... lol

Its crazy.... i only enjoy beans n pasta n nporraige yam. And thats when am hungryyyyyyyy.

Its not easy o jare.
Its just drugs helping me n baby grow...

My doctor was even complaining that i like drugs too much.
Just pregnancare, calcium, ferrous n he is complaining. Lol

Why on earth should an hospital send a woman in labour away, that is very unprofessional and stupid, what if something happens to her, they need to be educated

Abuja govt hospital will not take ur delivery or charge u extra so long as u didn't register with them. a woman who was in labour was rushed to asokoro general hospital, they refused to attend to her cos she didn't register for ANC with them. she ended up birthing in a private hospital. u must register with them, if u come in while in labour they will send u away. only private hospitals will accept u and charge u extra. what's ur location? there are good private hospitals in Abuja, don't take because of what happened to a family friend to judge all private hospitals, people also die in government hospitals . my neighbor lost his wife and son in a govt hospital.

Hmm. Are you having your baby in Nigeria? Do you realise how bad our Healthcare system is here and has gotten worse due to the dollar hike (hospitals are getting low on things like syringes and it is either they increase their fees or well...do the Naija method and cut some corners).

Is your husband willing to risk your life and that of his child for his pride?

Perhaps you and he don't precisely know what will happen. Yes, BS can explain but they are not painting a picture. Allow me:

Go and carry your handbag. Hold the two sides of the top open. Good. Now drag them apart. Use your hands to be pulling them apart, shaking it as if you want to expand it. Now go and buy Digestive biscuit, eat one. The size of that biscuit is 10cm. That's how big you're going to get, so imagine pushing a 3.2kg baby (or more) through a whole the size of that Digestive biscuit.
That's what's going to happen to your vajajay during labour. The nurses will shove their hands inside you to check whether your mucus plug has broken and see how dilated you are. The doctor will pull open your coochie so he or she can have access easier. Even at 10cm (full dilation), you still have to be expanded to allow baby not get stuck in that hole and suffocate. Plus there will be a lot of fluids and blood being spilled everywhere and the doctor may be cutting you so you don't tear (even more blood).

So, does that sound like a sexy moment, do you think that anyone seeing that will be thinking "hmm, I'm so turned on right now??". Do you think anyone really wants to be looking at all that mucus and blood, what if you haven't shaved, it's not a pretty sight, dear.

Now, I approve of CS when there are no other options. . But I'm going to tell you the truth: All the women who die during childbirth died because they had a complication that required surgery. Even with all I described above, Vaginal birth is still much safer than CS. You can go and look at some Obituary posters if you really need to be scared even more. The only reason elective surgery started was because they had to do it to stop even worse complications and then people decided to start using it for random reasons. The doctors abroad won't agree to allow you do elective CS, they will do their best to convince you not to. But if you guys really want to trust a Nigerian hospital to put your life and that if the child into 50% chance of danger (hey, they may take light during surgery. That happened to my cousin at Nigerian Naval Hosp), because your husband is uncomfortable with people trying to allow you give birth the way God intended you to do, then go ahead.

Ask your husband to follow you to antenatal and let the doctor explain. Watch some birthing videos online. And maybe you guys rethink your decision. If you choose to still go ahead, no problem.

My first ANC was like that, but the next time I went, we had lecture o, they taught us on induction... Reasons for it, risks, types, conditions etc. Twas interesting, and we did exercise too unlike the 1st time

As 4 their leaving their stuffs around,u can tease dem into doing it,me dey use laughter dey pass my msg across ooo. We all laugh bt I hv passed my msg n dey remember it. Tease dem wit tins lyk wat if their gfs come in here now(if dey r nt old enuf to hv gfs,say their schl mates),use style tel dem dat cleanliness z next to godliness. If they are the only ones that are using the room and bathroom in question... just lock the door and leave it as they have left it.

When next they come, if anyone brings it up blame it on the pregnancy and that you cant be cleaning up after grown men!

In fact for the room, just put a fresh folded bedsheet on the unmade bed, and toilet roll in the loo. That should be the extent of your involvement. And kindly ask them when leaving to please strip the bed and put the sheets in the laundary basket for you.....

For plates , cup and cutlery... buy disposables, when you serve them in disposable and they ask... tell you no get power to dey wash plate. If them want "breakin" plate, there is no problem tell them to kindly wash up after themselves...

If they are in the house that often then then need to tidy up after themselves its common courtesy! A one off untidy person is ok but as a regular.... yes it their brother's house but it is also your home and they should adhere by your rules.

They cannot say no naaa. They don't expect a pregnant lady to wash their bathroom or start arranging their clothes for them while they do nothing. It's not nice

Thank God for my premarital dating agreements. Even make my husband invite him nephew help out now wey I close shop he no gree. Firstly is this brother senior to you and what is your husband's opinion on his stay? My ex husband warned me about sending his brother who was almost nine years younger than me errands and just brought him to stay while schooling near us without consulting me. Needless to say, it became a story of my people and your people. Talk to your husband, if he is willing, he will help u bring the guy to order, if not, I am sorry you have to drop the topic forever and clean up CHEERFULLY after him for the sake of your happy home.

They are younger. I just believe when you are an house guest, you should make ur stay as comfortable as possible for your hosts, that's what I would do. Thanks for your advice

hmm mm if they are older than you there's nothing you can do till they leave. If they are younger you can report them to your dh but that's if you and your dh are good pallies I mean that your marriage is the type that no one can come in between cos some dh value their siblings more than the next person. It actually depends on how long you have been married. ....I personally will tell the culprit to clean up after themselves that the place stinks
on the sweeping matter. ....its your home, you got to clean it whether you have guests or not so you may not be getting any sympathy there.

Thanks, I am trying to calm down, but when one come from work after a long day and meets all these, it's quite frustrating, plus the pregnancy isn't really a walk in the park, will try as u suggested, but I really wish they could stay on their house jare

I think a cordial relationship with inlaw makes it easy for u to delegate work them.
Just tell them nicely just as u can talk to ur siblings nicely wen they do tins u feel shld be don properly.

The good tin abt marriage is that with time,inlaws n der drama tend to fade away.

You may ask request that your hospital gives you the baby list on time that's if they delay like most hospitals do.

Finally got liver to do my 1st scan today... Had a missed miscarriage 2 years back and twas not funny when my 1st scan that time said rubbish.... Anyway, baby was waving and doing Jet Li stunts in the scan today, I was just beaming, I no even tey for there sef cos I felt like dancing and shouting Alleluyah, no be small thing. Help me pray to God for carrying to term and safe delivery when the time comes o, can't wait
