Everyday.... and the amazing thing is I get there by 10/11 and I'm out in 15 minutes. Buh these that go from early morning dey tey o , cos they have to listen to lectures.

Registration is on Mondays. The fee is about 12k to 15k. She should go very early. As early as 7am so that once she is done with the reg she will be able to do her blood work( they stop taking blood samples by 12 and she has to come back the next day) the lab test is about 2,800. She then heads of to do her HIV test at Randle Gen Hospital but she should ask cos I think they have started doing it at Gbaja, I am not very sure.
She will have to see them the next Monday for her file to be officially opened and she will go along with all her test results. After she has done this she will be given appointment to see the Dr.

If their wahala is too much, just head o"ut to Akerele Health Centre in front of Eko Hospital. They are cheaper and far more friendly. That is where I take my immnunizations from. And now they have a fully functional maternity unit.
But you have to get there early if you need to get everything done in one day.

I remember a time there was strike in my first pregnancy, the midwives still conducted ANC, infact I enjoyed them more than the Drs sef and when we asked questions about what will happen in case of emergency CS, we were told that at all times the Drs are available. They just dont accept new patients but take care of their regular patients. A lot of women gave birth in that hospital during the strike.
I dont have any idea of other private hospitals coz even when I went around to search for myself none satisfied me like Gbaja did.

Good afternoon mamas. I am a regular reader here though still TTC.

Please my sister Inlaw needs a not expensive hospital around Surulere, Ojuelegba or Aguda. She is 5 months plus gone and yet to register cos of some issues. I suggested Gbaja general hospital which we will try but scared cos she is more than 4 months gone and don't know if she will be accepted.
Also we want to add a private hospital incase General hospital goes on strike during her delivery time. Kindly help a sister. Thank you
