See, my best friend is a Yoruba guy in Lagos. For the fact, him and his family are not voting for Tinubu. We were together on the first, he was so talking down Tinubu, him, his brothers and mother. They from Ogun state, funny enough, this family supported Buhari. They have become very disappointed in APC. Their choice for APC is Osinbajo, they don't like Tinubu at all hence they see Obi as an option because he's a Christian.
My neighbor who's a yoruba man, he always tell me that we should vote for Peter Obi.
This is not to say Tha majority of Yorubas are not going to vote for Tinubu but many of them are not going to vote for him as well, you can't force them to unless you convince them otherwise that's Tinubu is not a criminal.

A lot of people are not buying this tribal sentiment

An average yoruba hate tinubu, just ask around.. You will find most lovers of tinubu around drivers, union people and those directly benefitting from him.. I'm just coming from my family house this Nighy and the topic is this same topic..suooortrrs on here are just being blinded by this fact.. Election result will shock many people

you have a fair points.. i just laff when people shout kwara here when most them aint even in kwara or its environ..they sit in their enclave sharing numbers...kwara south is largely xtians and unpracticed muslims and is mostly obi courtesy of muslim/muslim ticket, only the elderly which are view are moved by tribalistic nonesense and unless there is heavu vote buying tinubu will lose this region...kwara north is where we have nupe, baruba, kiaiama and the rest and it will most likely be shared betweed atiku and tinubu with tinubu having upper hand but would win with little percent but you see kwara central where most youths and liberal minds are , its going to be a show for all with obi having the upper hand here..you see from gambari to maraba, tanke, taiwo,adewole,gaakanbi, sango, all the way down to garage offa, airport and the likes, obi will most likely win here and from gambari down into ilorin oke imole, it will be where apc, pdp and little for obi cos of the tribal nonesense will happen...overall winning margin in kwara will be very very low and no clear cut of who will win...

No candidate would get massive votes from christians or muslims.

Core northern christians are traditionally pdp, some few of them would vote obi as well.
North central christians would vote according to their party. Mostly apc and pdp.

South west not based on religion.

South east and south south votes go in line with their political leaders choice and some according to their conscience.
