What's with the panic? Having the funds whether it is been asked for or not is for your own good especially been that you have a family. It is best you relocate with sufficient funds to prevent panic in case you don't get a job as soon as you land. This explains why some people settlement story is different from some other people. U mean I should still have about 6M in my account(due to family size) after paying for flights and d rest just because I need to convince these guyz? Nobody has ever been rejected for digital photo. Don't pass wrong information.
I understand your stance on the Post ITA but the truth is that the reason this thread is mainly on Pre ITA is because a whole lot of us are too lazy to read ,so the same question gets asked and answered up to 3 times in a page.
The success of a post ITA depends on willing successful moderators who can direct us accordingly but truth is they also have their personal life to deal with,so they may not be available promptly when you need immediate answer. That's why this thread seems to help us atleast the gurus still pop in once in a while to give their advices.

True. Alternatively, a POST ITA thread should be opened to discuss these issues. If you review these thread, you will find out that many of the issues are mainly on WES and IELT (PRE ITA) and very few of POST ITA. However, POST ITA is the main phase of the application and there are a lot of bottlenecks. Even people get rejected for just Digital photo alone.

I am not trying to disregard PRE ITA phase. However, the separation will assist participants with concentration and questions will be customised. This will definitely assist people with how to tackle PRE ITA phase and when the individual is successful with ITA, he/she can then move over to the POST ITA phase.

Little is being said about the processes undertaken by VOs during POST ITA phase - How background checks are carried out, what type of digital photo you need, whether distance learning education requires PCC (a major reason for rejection), how to avoid gift deeds and pension as POF etc

I want to find out, we recently paid for WES for my wife who is the PA, and we plan to evaluate her BSc. and her MBA. We also plan to evaluate my MA.

My question is this; can we use her WES reference number to verify my own credentials also? That way, my university in the US can send my transcript directly to WES for verification. The reason for this is that we are thinking it will save us an additional $233.

Atleast one year experience is one of the major prerequisites even if your score is enough to get you ITA without the job experience, that is why it is Skilled Worker Program

Has anyone here tried applying for PR without having one year of work experience?

The processing time is less than 2months but I will advise you retake your IELTS or look for any means to retain your CRS score at 400 because even with the nomination,there is a clause that your CRS score must be atleast 400 through to PPR. Kindly read up further.
My take is quickly submit, then resit ur IELTS if that is the only way you can improve your score

My current CRS score is 401 and my next birthday is first week in september about 3 months from now. My question is,

1. What is the current processing time for OiNP application?

2. Can I still receive PNP after OINP application when my CRS has dropped less than 400 in the pool after my Birthday?

As far as you don't create the one key account, I think you should have sufficient time to see if you will get direct ITA but once you create the one key, na 14 days ooo.

I have missed ITA twice now because of WES. my school sent my verification by email(which is the norm with ABU) and the idiots in Wes have me on "waiting for response from institution" for the past weeks. I have gone myself to Zaria to see that it was sent again but up till now....

I think point drop doesn't affect after AOR but affects pre AOR. So buckle up and submit ASAP, so either way u will be okay

Since you should get ITA today, I don't think you have to worry too much. Start gathering documents so that if possible, you can submit before your birthday. I have read something similar somewhere but I am not sure if it was upon ITA or AOR but I suggest you play safe.

Except you or your wife have Canadian education,experience or took TEF, I doubt if your scores can be 428 with your IELTS result.

Your spouse can be the principal applicant if she is younger ,has required experience and can also ace IELTS like you. Look at that possibility. If you guys can get atleast 400, OINP is an alternative. My friend got nominated less than 2 weeks after submission.

Oh great, I. Married to a masters holder who didn't do great at the IELTS though. 6 band. But I didn't push for a 're write because it can add only max 10 more scores.

You can use tbills as proof but you need to prove the source. If its a reinvestment,attach the certificate you got previously but if it is a fresh investment, you will need to show atleast 6 months statement except ur bank is willing to give you a 6 months average balance on your account before you invested in the tbills in the bank reference letter. Hope this helps.

It does matter. If you didn't specify the job for ur trv visa,then you can't claim points. Not disclosing at that time and deciding to disclose now can get you misrepresentation

To be eligible for FSW, you must have atleast ONE year CONTINUOUS experience in a particular NOC. If you can get letters for all,you are good to go

Please i have a sort of complicated issue which i'd like to share, and would appreciate everyone's opinion on this
Up until last week, my crs score has been 413
I logged in to my profile only to see that it had been bumped up to 438
upon further checks, i noticed that my score for work experience had been increased from 25 to 50
Hence i got ITA in the last draw
My question/dilenma now is that the 3yrs work experience is not continuous
Its April 2013 - Feb 2014,
March 2015 - October 2015
January 2016 - November 2016
And November 2016 - till date
My question is that, can this work experience that has gaps in it fly for 3yrs work experience?
I'd really appreciate honest opinions and would like to know if anyone has been in my shoes too as i am in a fix as to the way forward with this ITA

I will say since the Ontario has 45 days validity, then still hold on but pls don't create the one key account yet oo cos once you do,u have to submit an application within 14days or lose the nomination. That's what I heard though. I might be wrong

I just received an LOE from Ontario and wondering whether I should accept it or wait to see if I'll get ITA.

My points presently is 405 but that's without my spouse's IELTS. He intends to apply for and write IELTS as soon as he gets his passport, which he's hoping to get next week.

He has also started his ECA and it's still pending with WES. With his ECA and IELTS, we should end up with about 430 but we don't know how long it will take to get ECA and we're not even 100% sure that he'll get his passport next week. We fear that points might just keep increasing. We also have siblings in Canada and by June , we'll get the extra 15 points, which will further increase our points.

So, my question is: should we accept LOE from Ontario or wait for IELTS and WES and pray that we get ITA subsequently?

IMO, the acceptance of gift deed depends on the VO,
unfortunately they have exclusive right to do that except you challenge the refusal.
Secondly, we also need to make the gift deed legit too. If you have less than 3years work experience and you use gift deed for total POF, it can be understood but mehn! You have got a whooping 7 years experience yet you don't have personal funds in your account or even investment to liquidate to serve as POF for atleast 40% of the LICO? E get as e be..... Some grouchy VO might unfortunately capitalise on this.
In my opinion,if you get car,abeg present your car documents which bears your name and a sales deed( even though u no go sell car oo) -and have the funds transferred to your account, then you can use gift deed to sort the rest.
The head wey Taiwo get different from Kehinde. Some pple might have gotten tru with gift deed but what of it no longer holds water especially with the way dem dey dish out ITA, try not to give VO to allow the winch for your village to play snooker on his head.

You just have to be patient atleast you have submitted the required documents..It takes a while before you receive response on CSE. Nobody can give you info on that except you want to raise GCms notes to know your status but it is often advised to wait atleast 30days before doing that. Just hope for the best

1. I only assessed my Master's degree and filled only my master's degree. Do I also include my BSC which I didn't assess? You can include your bsc if you wish but chose the option that it wasn't evaluated. What matters is your highest qualification that was evaluated

2. I have spent more than the required 3 years in my present job and my previous job has closed up. Do I still include the previous job or just list only my present job?
Put just your present job in the work history. When you get ITA, list the previous job under personal history

You can use that only if it is a last resort as in if there is no way you can get funds. Even at that,it can only be used as a secondary POF not primary as in as support for the balance. Remember to also write an explanation about the conditions attached to how and when it can be assessed supported with a copy of Pension Act.You might just get lucky and the VO will accept that. Remember use it only if it is the only means and keep your fingers crossed.

Good morning everyone. I just wanted to get some information clarifications as regards updating spousal record after e-APR has been submitted.

My Fiancé got ITA in January and submitted last month. However, we just did our court wedding last week. We want to inform CIC of this change in marital status so I would love to know what to expect.

· What do we say when completing the “Case Specific Enquiry Form”?
· Do I need to do a change of name (Newspaper publication, Affidavit etc?) and Will I have to change the name on my International passport?
· What information do I have to upload when completing the Case Specific Enquiry Form?

If anyone can be kind enough to assist in pointing me in the right direction, I will be very grateful.

Before I got married, I had an international passport that I used to travel once to india. Later I was denied U.K. Visa on this same passport. Then I got married and did change of name to husbands last name. I also got a new passport that bears my new married name. My old passport was never returned to me (the immigration officer later said it was lost) after I used it to apply for new one with a new name. Now in our eAPR, should we choose yes to "have you been denied visa to any country "? I'm confused because I don't even have the old passport (in my pre-marriage name) anymore. I know if I put yes, I might be required to upload the old passport and the only travel history (india trip) in it. Please let me know what you think. Note that I have traveled a lot on my new passport and been never been denied visa.

Kindly ensure adulterated statements are not submitted.
They may or not confirm ; sometimes they also ask for updated POF just before PPR. So ensure your funds are intact till decision is made
