Hello All, I need urgent help. Though this might not be the best forum but it is my last resort as I am unable to reach VFS via phone or receive any response from mail. My dad's visit visa has been approved and he is not a resident in Lagos but he already sent his passport to a family in Lagos. I need guidance on how to get his passport submitted, including fees to be paid to VFS. Thank you.

not at all. use a different email address. it only becomes double entry if you submit both. I actually created 2 profiles , got ITA for both but submitted one, so i declined and withdrew the other. No effect on my application on that neither was it referenced in my gcms note. So go ahead and see if you can get a new ITA. I repeat, don't decline present ITA till you get a new one to correct the misinformation.

If I create another profile, wont it be counted as double entry.

I will advise you not to decline the ITA. if I were to be in your shoes, I would create another profile with another email address and see if I can get another ITA before the expiration of the first one. If you go with the second ITA atleast your mind will be settled that you have crossed all your ts instead of having high bp. If you get a second ITA, decline the first and withdraw the profile. If no ITA for the second one, LOE will suffice to explain the discrepancy.

I need your responses please. Very unhappy at the moment. Before I got to know about this informative thread on the canadian immigration program, I engaged a law firm (paid heavily for this). After I got my ITA (CRS 452), they demanded for an outrageous sum again. I then terminated the contract. I claimed the 15points CRS for sibling cos my husband's younger sister resides in Canada. Now, looking through what they filled, I found out that they claimed that I have a sibling in Canada and not my husband.
My question is this: should I decline the ITA and make amends, or continue with process and write an LOE.
HELP ME WITH YOUR RESPONSES, IT WILL GO A LONG WAY.

Seriously, I blame you. The fact that you are not working does not mean you should not have statement of account of where your POF came from even of there is no transaction, it doesn't matter. You could have printed when you are still employed. Bottom line is, I am sure you are aware of the falsification but thought you could get away with it. If you no get POF and agent wan arrange,no be you go print statement. What agent could have done was to transfer the money to ur accounts
I want to believe that you had the POF at the point of submitting but probably returned the funds back to source after submission.
A note of warning, if you don't have POF as personal funds, get somebody to borrow you till you collect your PPR. All the beat. I can't see any defense for this letter at all cos you are responsible for your application and I am sure you answered NO to the question if you used an agent or representative.

A separation status is also not by word of mouth. Filing for divorce does not equate separation. To file as separated, she also needs to file processes in court. That procedure is faster because you are saying we have issues that may or may not be resolved but for now I need to absolve my self of the legal liability as a spouse so court separate us. Judges are more inclined to grant such orders faster as there is still an opening for settlement.

This applies to a Canadian citizen or PR sponsoring the spouse i.e Family Class Sponsorship. It does not apply to express entry.

@wumiadej, except you want us to encourage you to misrepresent that you are single cos I don't see what else we can tell you. Being divorced or separated is not going to stop you from getting your PR if you can provide legal documents to back it up. I believe what some people are saying is that getting a divorce might take a long time, that is why you need to get a lawyer. Also if you can get your husband to sign an affidavit that you guys are separated,or in the process of getting a divorce and he is not willing to migrate to Canada through you now or in the future, I think you should be good. You really need to talk to a lawyer.

If you have documents showing ownership of the.vehicle, sales invoice and sales agreement showing the source of funds , then use LOE in addition with the documwnts to show the source of funds but if the vehicle was not originally in your name, this suggestion 'ko le werk'

You can send a mail to this Addy requesting to know your visa office- CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, the subject should be E000xxxxx Visa Office. Under body, request to know where your visa office is and give the fflg info:
application no, DOB, last name, First Name, UCI if you know it and the category of immigration- FSW,PNP or CEC.
If your application is redistributed, you may receive PPR earlier. The purpose of redistributing is to ensure that processing is faster by giving to visa offices witg less wprkload instead of saddling an overwhelmed Visa Office with more than what it can process timely.

Congrats. Usually, Accra is in charge of Nigeria though sometimes they redistribute to other Visa Offices with less workload. You can inquire of ur visa office by sending a mail with your Reference Number.

You are right on point @bolded. It is only if you are divorced that you don't require your partner's documentations and your CRS score will be calculated like a single applicant.

With the various assessments for eligibility I have filled, I noticed one has to pick married or single, you have more mark if you pick single while some marks will be deducted if married, in the case one applies as married but not going with common law partner therefore not getting any mark for that common law partner in terms of IELTS, certificate assessment, age won't one av less mark and also, won't they still request for d partner's police report, criminal background check,medical report and count one's proof of fund as having to be for two.
