Beennkummar, your style will be the thing decide that. The acrostic is a form that can be used with all styles.

Imagine you were writing an acrostic poem with a sonnet. You would still have to observe the rhythm rules.

But if you were writing in free verse or a style that has no specific rhythm rules, then being acrostic doesn't change that.
