Pretty young lady, your value shouldn't be in a man's earnings or job. Have a self worth, pls. Go for your career, if he truly loves you, he should wait. If he can't, your right man will come. Gone are those days when ladies go after rich men, now reverse is the case. A responsible man will love and celebrate you when you become a success. My own case is a good example. All the young men I rejected because of my career are now looking up to me and wished they could have waited to have an asset like me haven completed my PhD at 30. The man who truly loves me waited from NCE - M.ED, I completed my PhD in his house. Pls dear, never fall for him if he doesn't value your career, cos soonest, he would complain you closes late from work or you don't have time for the family and you should choose between your job and the family. Teaching is a noble profession. It's quite unfortunate that the Nigerian teachers are not recognised as compared to other professionals. Other developed nations like China and America accord utmost regard to the teaching profession, but I hope someday, things will turn out for good for d noblest profession of all.

I strongly agree dt teaching job is nt only hot cake bt education sector is more lucrative now. I am smone who loved to be a chattered accountant right frm d secondary school, bt accidentally found myself in education field. Initially, I wasn't happy wt d course after spending long years in college of education nd university. But now, I thank God for directing my steps towards there, education sector have exposed me to knw every part of d country wt special allowance apart from my salary, help me to develop myself faster, to pursue my Masters' degree as well as Ph.D., teaching and learning is an ongoing process in education.
