I'm like, yea you did a whole lot wrong.

why didn't NOKIA go with the tide and jump on the Android train when HTC, Samsung et al joined?
They slacked and got left behind.

The key to improving is innovating to do more. Nokia failed in that regard. But Tecno has been doing that too. Improving as technology changes.

Has to be Phantom 6 & 6 plus. I like the way these phone companies keep challenging themselves though

I honestly don't see what the big deal is really.
I'm an ideal world "real value" should influence purchases not "perceived value" being attached to the supposedly bigger brands.
I've used a couple Tecno phones in the past did I get value for money? Absolutely.

Simple. I think Tecno is all about affordability and at the same time bringing quality phones to the market. Something they've done well over the years.

Phantom 6 comes with no fingerprint sensor, it's the 6+ that does.

tecno should maintain it newly manufactured devices at 2GB RAM atleast and that will be one of the best improvement

Why aim so low when you can reach exceptional heights? If they can do 6gb RAM, let us experience it. This 4gb is a testimony already.

Isn't all that impressive? Have u tried adjusting settings? I bet you'll like the pictures more if u do. But then. Nothing beats the 21 MP camera though.

To stay relevant and top of your game you need constantly strive to improve and be better and that's what Tecno have been doing over the years. Constantly innovating improving.

That's needed though. In a market where if u don't improve, you'll get left behind. Using Nokia and BlackBerry as examples. Tecno has continued to improve over the years.

Not overly expensive yet affordable. These flagships are truly made for the people.

Impressive but I'm not fazed. It is what I expect from the beast because that's what it was built for.

I think these phones are good values for their prices. And besides , the exchange rate is a constraint. On a normal day, without poor economy, I think it shouldn't go for the current price. Well, people are using it and they're loving what their Tecno phones are giving them

Yeah, current market value ain't helping but that doesn't remove the fact that these phones are superb. And the cost ain't high.

I assumed you'll get enough bashing for this post but most people won't bother reading it. Truth is, things have changed since 1969 and that includes technology. That's why most mobile phones ate what they are nowadays. Take for example the processing speed of Tecno's phantom 6 and 6+

I just hope they keep the flag flying. They have set a standard with this machine! They need to keep up that standard!! Phantom 6+ has stolen the show!! Since the Note 7 has been withdrawn, the only flagship ahead of the Phantom 6+ now is the almighty S7 edge.

I believe they will. Because over the years, they've been improving so I think we should expect more from Tecno.

I've always been a lover of tech. So it's amazing to see a brand like Tecno innovating to create more. The Phantom 6+ has shown that they mean business and they took their time to create a masterpiece.

Thanks bro. Not taking anything from samsung. They make gorgeous devices. But one thing is for sure, when u buy a samsung phone like the galaxy s7 edge for 300k, u are actually paying 200k for the actual device and 100k for the samsung brand. That is a FACT. U want snapdragon? There are some phones with snapdragon 820, 4gb of ram, solid build quality and great camera that cost less than $400 rather than buying a samsung for $700. A good example is Alcatel 4s, zte axon 7, one plus 3, etc. OK u might not get good customer service or replacement parts here in nigeria for those devices but that is where the tecno phantom 6 and 6 plus come in (both are not more than $300). Maybe it doesn't run on snapdragon but Helio x20 is also a solid high end processor.

You're on point. Been hearing a lot about the processors and all I can say is the Helio x20 is a superb one too. And we are talking about the first deca core device. Which all but makes it a device to have.

I think so too, the features are eye catching. From the RAM to the processor and the Sony camera.

I'd like to say the slim design , processor, RAM and the dual camera is why I wanna experience this phone. Sleek and sophisticated one from Tecno

Until you begin to realise that the strength of a cat does not lie in its size you will never understand the real mysteries behind mobile devices. I have used Samsung devices for upwards of 4 years and I know that Samsung make solid products and nobody can take that from them. But we also know that they waste a lot of cash by equipping their phones with useless features that the average user will never deploy, a good example is the Smart features on their galaxy line of devices like "smart stay, smart scroll, smart pause etc. Now the problem with people is that they continue to live in their pasts and will not move with trend. Years ago Nokia dominated the Smartphone space, fast forward to 5 years after that they were completely overtaken by Blackberry.....and before you blink Android swallowed Blackberry and pushed them to extinction leaving no medication for their resuscitation..... 2007 saw the introduction of the iPhone and because of their famous ingenuity Apple have managed to keep their flagship relevant since then.

Now let's talk about Tecno, they jumped into the market with ridiculously ludicrous phones with inferior specs and cheap builds that most tech savvy guys will never use! Then over time they invested into real engineering and kept improving their outfits, unlike Nokia and Blackberry that were deluded by pride and were completely riddled by bullets from Samsung and Apple mercenaries while they were asleep. Even though Samsung and iPhone were gaining popularity by the day Tecno were not discouraged, they pushed on. And today they have masterminded a product that not only competes with a Samsung flagship, but also conquers it in all departments.

Now most people still live in the past of Tecno and will fail to realise that a lot have changed and will keep getting better. I used to be a Tecno hater till recently when I saw the spec sheets of the Phantom 6 plus and I was really wowed. And I decided to give it a try, the rest is better imagined than illustrated. Tecno Phantom 6 plus is beyong the imagination of Tecno haters. It is a device made to shut many up and win the hearts of others. And going by its price, I consider it a gift.

Enough of the rhetorics and prose, stop over at a tecno store and get one for yourself and you will be happy you did. Better still hit a Samsung store and grab an S7 edge, its a Superhero flagship. They are all great devices.

You've said it all. Until people stop looking at the device more and the name of the brand less, we'll not appreciate the effect of good technology. Kudos to Tecno for stepping up their game with amazing phones over the years. The phantom 6+ is a better testimony still. A superb device.

This means the Phantom 6 plus can match the other popular brands in some if not all aspects and it's a good value for the money. I think we should try looking at what they bring instead of looking at the Tecno name. Give kudos to them for continually innovating.

You get it. Tecno has been improving over the years. Competing with the Samsung and iPhone for the largest hold of the African mobile market. Hate it or love it. They deserve credit.

I think the dual camera and it's slim design makes it stand out. The phone is a beauty to behold.

If you spent 15minutes and you have amazing stories to tell, what will happen if you spend a week or more? Truth is I think that Tecno has improved and it's good for them. They are extending their reach to other continents too. Which is commendable.

This one no too hard na, assuming the Samsung galaxy no be bomb now, I for buy am but I'll go for the Tecno phantom 6+ coz I don't can't use iPhone in naija and the phantom no bad. E make sense. PlUs I go need money for one or two things
