Going against the grain, SRK was appreciated for his
portrayal in both roles. Having gotten action and villainy
out of the way from very early on, SRK was left to play the
role of a conventional romantic hero, the trope that has
sustained throughout his career. His very first out-and-
out romantic hero role, contrary to popular belief, was not
the Aditya Chopra directorial ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le
Jaayenge’ (1995) but a little known romantic dramedy
‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’ . However, ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le
Jaayenge’ admittedly did mark a turning point in his
career and life.

Shah Rukh Khan was no longer the middle-class boy-
next-door from Delhi, he became an overnight superstar!
FUN FACT: ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge’ is also the
longest Hindi film till date (17 years and counting! It still
plays at morning shows in Mumbai’s famed Maratha
Mandir theatre) Shah Rukh Khan replicated the success of
‘DDLJ’ in several of his subsequent films like Subhash
Ghai’s ‘Pardes’ , ‘Yes Boss’, Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch
Hota Hai’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ , Sanjay Leela
Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Devdas’ , Yash Raj’s ‘Dil Toh
Pagal Hai’ . He played a more intense, smouldering
version of the Rahul/Raj typecast in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil
Se…’ , to much critical acclaim.

From 2004 onwards, Shah Rukh Khan really started
experimenting with his roles, as if to say: hey guys, now
that I’ve made it as a superstar, it’s time I explore what
excites me as an actor! Probably one of his most
challenging roles was playing a NASA scientist who
returns to his village in India, in Ashutosh Gowariker’s
sensitive homegrown indie ‘Swades’ . Khan also gave the
performance of his lifetime (cynical, brooding, inspiring,
broken.. human) in Shimit Amin’s non-starry film about

sure but you would have to download the subtitle separately @ www.podnapisi.net otherwise, you may have to download in HD format on youtube by simply searching your choice of bwood. Besides, can also have it in bluray format which is very, very a heavy content. Director Rakesh Roshan’s Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish set the cash
registers ringing. Now the successful director is back with
Krrish 3, the third installment of his superhero series – this one stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra , Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi. Krrish 3 has at all – star power, visual effects, new-age villain and great buzz.
Surely it can’t get better than this! But will it rule the box office this Diwali? Will Krrish 3 get a thunderous start? Exhibitor-distributor Akshaye Rathi says, “Krrish 3 is undoubtedly one of the big ticket movies releasing this year! While the numbers from the first three days may not be as big as they would have been if the film had released on the 4th because of the activities people keep busy with pre-Diwali, the film is sure to rake in a lot of money in its overall run at the cinemas.”

Most filmmakers bank on public holidays to boost their film’s
prospects at the ticket windows. That’s what Senior Roshan is
also hoping for by releasing Krrish 3 during the Diwali
weekend. Plus, the Hrithik Roshan -Priyanka Chopra starrer
has no competition at the box office, which will prove to be a
huge advantage. “The trailers are doing fantastic and the buzz
is great around the film; however, Krrish 3 lacks in music. But
since it’s a solo release and that too during Diwali weekend,
Krrish 3 will benefit from this,” points out distributor Sunny
Khanna.

With so many factors working in its favour, will Rakesh
Roshan’s latest offering beat the box office record of Chennai
Express, the Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer?

“Chennai Express was a solo release during Eid and managed
to get cash registers ringing. So is Krrish 3 at Diwali. Also, the
ticket prices of the superhero film are higher in multiplexes,
just like Chennai Express. In that way, there is lot of similarity
between the two films. But as far as beating the record of
Chennai Express is concerned, I think the movie will collect
around Rs 180-200 crores, but that’s just an estimation. The
collections can go beyond that,” added Khanna.

Manwars (Manav + jaanwars) on his family. Krrish has to
save his family, his city, it's people and overpower this super
villain.

What's good

Let me assure you right at the onset that Rakesh Roshan has
packed din enough in the film to make a Krrish fan get his/
her money's worth. A superhero franchise escapade that
delivers fully on it's promise and raises the bar for future
desi superhero films. It's movie escapism at it's best.
Krrish 3 is an entertaining mix of spectacle and human-scale
drama. Roshan combines his imagination and flair to deliver
a film that is sure to capture everyone's imagination. It has
something for everybody. For a superhero film fan there are
fantasy characters, a super villain, full scale heroism, plot
twists and superb action.

For a Bollywood fan, there is enough emotion, drama, love
story and songs. For the bachcha party there are plenty of
exciting and exhilarating moments. The film is fast-paced,
the effects are smashing, and what works is that Krrish is
engaging and endearing even when he is is out of costume.
Krrish may be a superhero but it is his human side that is so
appealing.
Hrithik Roshan is oh-so-watchable in every frame. He owns both the roles with such ease. Kangana Ranaut is delightful as an alien making the weird hair and clothes work for her. She even manages to make you feel her pain.

The film — aimed more at kids, than adults gets a little
complicated at times, making you wonder if the young ones
will be able to grasp it. It is highly derivative. It borrows
heavily from almost every superhero film you have seen.

I haven't updated this thread for more than a month, thats the reason i decided to inform here the upcoming events.
Firstly, Hrithik Roshan's Krissh 3 is slated to be released on Nov 1st while the king of Bollywood Shah Ruh Khan's Birthday is on Nov 2nd. More so, Dhoom 3 would be at the cinemas on 26 of December with Aamir khan (chanchad of 3 idiots) as the villian. Both krissh and dhoom 3 trailer is available on youtube. In sha Allah, i shall post all details as well as a link for English subtitles for each movie including the past ones too.

house, Red Chillies Entertainment with wife Gauri being the
co-founder. Together they has produced 9 films so far. Khan
and his wife are also proud owners of an IPL cricket team
known as Kolkata Knight Riders which was bought by him in
partnership with Indian actress Juhi Chalwa $ 75.09 million.

After being loyal to his wife for over 20 years, Shahrukh Khan
is reportedly seeing Priyanka Chopra and they are quite an

in 2011, post the release of Don 2. Everyone was shocked and
angry with SRK, but not Gauri. These rumors didn’t affect their
marriage one bit.

indeed. Meanwhile, Gauri continues to play his backbone

It was love at first sight for Shahrukh in 1984, when he first
saw Gauri at a party. But for her, it took quite a lot of
persuasion to reciprocate the same feelings.
