Rocktation: I hope they're still keeping Roshan. I'll have it no other way. They may change Aish, for all I care. I'm not a fan.Namaskar, Roshan won't be part of dhoom3 (D3) because Mr A story ends in D2; he and aish have given up crime and would be living a decent life. D3 is unique. This time the villain is Amir khan while the leading lady is Katrina Kaif. The other two cops (Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra) are expected to deliver more performance as usual. I'll keep u guys posted on and on InshaAllah. |
ferhyntorlah: Every ardent watcher of Indian movies must surely know "Amtab". He is the father of Bollywood. Remember the film: Ammar Akbar Anthony?ya, exactly.... Apart from being an actor, he is truely a great man. |
Furthermore, Mr Amitabh (a.k.a Senior Bachchan, Big B) was born in Allahabad,Uttar Pradesh, in north central India. His father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, was a Hindi poet and his mother,Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh from Faisalabad (now in Pakistan). Bachchan was initially named Inquilaab, inspired from the phrase made famous during the Indian independence struggle, Inquilab Zindabad, which means "long live revolution". However, at the suggestion of fellow poet Sumitranandan Pant, Harivansh Rai changed the name to Amitabh which means, "the light that would never go off." Though his surname was Shrivastava, his father had adopted the pen-name Bachchan (meaning "child-like" in colloquial Hindi), under which he published all his works. It is with this last name that Amitabh debuted in films, and, for all public purposes, it has become the surname of all members of his family. Bachchan's father died in 2003 and his mother in 2007. Amitabh Bachchan is married to actress Jaya Bhaduri. They have two children, Shweta Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek is also an actor and is married to actress Aishwarya Rai. |

Born Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan on 11 October 1942 an Indian film actor. He first gained popularity in the early 1970s as the "angry young man" of Hindi cinema, and has since appeared in over 180 Indian films in a career spanning more than four decades. Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. So total was his dominance of the movie scene in the 1970s and 1980s that the late French director Francois Truffaut called him a "one-man industry”. Bachchan go on to become the second and last superstar of Bollywood. No actor has seen the superstardom which was enjoyed by Rajesh Khanna and Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan has won numerous major awards in his career, including three National Film Awards as Best Actor - a record he shares with Kamal Haasan and Mammootty - and fourteen Filmfare Awards. He is the most-nominated performer in any major acting category at Filmfare, with 37 nominations overall. In addition to acting, Bachchan has worked as a playback singer, film producer and television presenter. He also had a stint in politics in the 1980s. However, he has received both the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan civilian awards from the Indian government.

Bollywood is an informal term popularly used for the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), Maharashtra, India. Bollywood is often incorrectly used to refer to the whole of Indian cinema; however, it is only a part of the total Indian film industry, which includes other production centres producing films in multiple languages. The largest film producer in India and one of the largest centres of film production in the world. The name "Bollywood" is derived from Bombay (the former name for Mumbai) and Hollywood, the center of the American film industry. However, unlike Hollywood, Bollywood does not exist as a physical place. Source: Encyclopedia |
The core reason is that singing and dancing is part of the indian culture, and it has been a natural gift since inception. So, the reason why the phenomenon is included in most of the film is because; 1. It serves as a means of entertaining the audience durind the movie and, 2. Huge amount of money is generated through the song as it would be lunched earlier than the release date of the movie. A movie may have 5, 4 or more depending on how the director wants it. |

This came barely 24 hours after an earlier insistence by the NYSC that corps members posted to the affected areas must first report to camp before requests for redeployment could be considered. The statement reads, “This is to inform all prospective corps members deployed to Yobe and Borno states for the 2012 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course to note the following: “Yobe State prospective corps members will now hold their orientation course at the Nasarawa State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Keffi, Keffi LGA, and not as stated on their call-up letters. “Borno State prospective corps members will undertake their orientation programme at the Benue State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Wanume, Tarka LGA, and not as stated on their call-up letters. “Date: Thursday 26th July-Thursday 16th August, 2012, as earlier published. “In addition, all 2012 Batch ‘B’ prospective corps members deployed to Bauchi, Gombe, Plateau, Kano and Kaduna states who have collected their call-up letters but are yet to report in camp should immediately report at the NYSC Directorate Headquarters, Abuja for redeployment.” The statement is silent on the fate of those who have already reported in camp in compliance with the earlier directive. http://www.punchng.com/news/boko-haramnysc-stops-posting-of-14850-graduates-to-north/ |
