Democrats, Russian and the FBI

It turns out that Russia has sown distrust in the U.S. political system—aided and abetted by the Democratic Party, and perhaps the FBI. This is an about-face from the dominant media narrative of the last year, and it requires a full investigation.

Strip out the middlemen, and it appears that Democrats paid for Russians to compile wild allegations about a U.S. presidential candidate. Did someone say “collusion”?

IPOB political party isn't a bad idea. That way, you guys can have Biafra more quickly and realistically. Leaders in igbo land would truly be the peoples' choices.

The only problem you'd have deproscribing it.

There are many dingbats in the zoo called Nigeria. There was a time Ndigbo wanted to stay faraway from Yari.ba, Hausawa, Fulde, Kanuri and other mushroom ethnicities in the zoo called Nigeria. It must be told that the punks from the mentioned ethnic nationalities precipitated an internecine war of attrition against Ndigbo and the easterners. If Ndigbo wanted to grab the seasoned gutter called Lagos, why would they want to stay away from it? Have the ninnies suddenly and quickly forgotten the slogan of "One-Nigeria"?
All you need do is go back in time and resurrect Zik of Africa to include Awolowo's proposed secession clause and we'll all be chummy. You cannot put us in a mess and want to tuck tail and bail. Nigeria is not igbo land where you're severely lacking in foresight and never count the cost of missions before undertaking them.

If only Azikiwe had as much sense as Awolowo, we wouldn't be in this mess. Blame your fellow kinsman for your chagrin.

No need to run, he should be the dormant not the alfa, he should talk less, let her do the talking, don't go to her complaining, don't don't raise your voice on her especially when fuming, treat her with love, correcr her with love turn her into a new born baby, melt her with love, take her to the gym more often to work out her stress and frustrations, helps her loose the adrenaline buildup, e also has to be her minder,

After anger management she will be better, it makes her understand her self better and knows how to avoid meltdowns,

If she slips into a blood rage, find freezing water and pour on her head, pour lots of it,

Living is a cold region like Canada controls her blood rage, heat and discomfort is a no go for MAOA-A2, tell tale signs are sudden flash of red ring in the eyes, lol, that's why sango is said to have blood in his eyes " I see blood"
All these ones na theory. The man should be dormant, as in, he should let his wife dominate him and walk around on eggshells. Because? Because he wants to cure her crase. You make me laugh.

Women despise wussy husbands. It is innate. A woman craves a man who would dominate her and is repulsed by husbands who defer to them. She will chew him and spit him out like dry, tasteless sugarcane. Women like these cannot be reasoned with and they have a severe problem with self awareness.

The man will be enslaved to her ideology and whims. He cannot correct her when she is obviously wrong as she will double down on her rhetoric and treat him as an enemy because he corrected her. Baba, abeg no let me talk.

funny enough what the OP is going through is exactly what am going through also... i have decided to go for a divorce... i need to be alive to take care of the only daughter we have in the marriage... for the first time in my life, i was afraid for my life... its that bad...

everytime i watch that show on CDS Reality - WIVES WITH KNIVES.... my spirit keeps telling me this woman will kill you one day if you continue in this marriage... she gets angry and starts breaking stuff in the house... like she looses her control once she is angry... to think i once ran for my life and she was pursuing me on the street with stone to hit me...

i have seen it all... i read the advise by #Selflessmaya. well written, the problem is, you might die trying to help such people... the best option i have taken is to walk away... its difficult because i have a baby with her but i will try to take care of my daughter...its her fault that we brought her into this world
From someone who has been in your own shoes, I wish you would go ahead with the divorce. Do not let your daughter needing a family dissuade you from leaving the union.

As to your comment about selflessmaya's post, I salute you. Those are just theoretical opinions. By the way one this person heals, if they ever become sane, what will be the cost to you? Broken self esteem? Depression? High blood pressure? Death? Degenerative death or a violent death?

No time abeg.

I'm more inclined to the MOAO-2 theory than that pseudo-scienxe selflessmaya spouted.

Very True!
Behaviour is not something that one can change or swithc-off and On like Electricity, especially in marriage.

If you can cope with a person's behaviour during courtship, you wont be able to cope in marriage....and that is when it gets really worse.
I guess you meant to say "if you can't cope", in your last paragraph. And that's too true.

There's a reason marriage used to last longer in the old days. In its current format, divorce is inevitable. It's only a matter of time before men get with the times and start opting out of the charade that is the modern marriage.

Different cultures have theories about the female human kind being beyond comprehension as much post of their actions seem to be illogical. Cultures dealt with this unreliability through their seeming high-handedness, but that's not what it was, it was just stringent actions designed to deal with the uncertainty a woman with too much power can wreak on a relatively well-oiled society.

I strongly believe those measures will make a comeback as men husbands become a scarce commodity; and you know how much women need husbands and marriage.

Bro,I am in a similar situation but I can't go into details now. Just like u,I use to have this impression that men who beat up their wives are worse than animals but bro, the truth is that these women can drive u to point of madness. They can be so stupid and unreasonable. I have repeatedly warned my girl friend that my red line is raising voices and creating scenes in my flat but she has done worse than these. Right now,I don't stay in my house anymore,I rented a self con somewhere I always retire any time her madness starts. Na she dey beg make I come most times. Some even said I rented a room where I take girls to,but mennn,I don't care. Let them say!!
Look for another babe. This relationship of yours should have ended already. Take it from me, I have learned a bitter lesson...people do not change. She will beg you because she doesn't want to lose you, not because she wants to change or sees anything wrong with in her ways. Leave that relationship now or cry bitter tears in the future. The fact that you've run away from your own home and live in hiding like a fugitive should be more than sufficient to instruct you on what to do.

They become worse after they get the ring. If she's unbearable now, think what she'll be when she becomes official. If you value your soul, exit that relationship now. Good luck.

The entire country needs unity.

The moment you start to separate one from the group it is certain other groups would fallout.
Unity for the entire Nigerian state is always going to be in the realm of fantasy. The north do not want fairness, equity and justice. They are very comfortable with the unfair advantage their numerical superiority gives them.

They don't want restructuring. They don't want decentralisation of government. They are fine with students getting university admissions with abysmally low scores in UTME and WAEC. They are opposed to merit. Do you know how many useful brains Nigeria has lost because some dude from the north just has to fill some quota in Federal Unis? Our current system is madness and they love it because they don't have to apply themselves to get the best.

It's frustrating when you know some undeserving person somewhere is benefitting from something just because their a northerner. It is madness.

And I do not believe you are Yoruba and taught to hate Igbos. Yoruba had no time for hatred. Most of us actually admired the Igbo's. No yorubas ever hated the igbos during the war. Growing up, the stories i heard from the older generation was about how the igbos were unfairly treated. The entire sympathy was with the igbos. But not anymore.

For me as a Yoruba lady, these past two years have really been an eye opener to see the way the Igbos truly view my people. And unfortunately we will never forget.
You deserve cake for this comment , especially the part in bold. The recent episode has been truly unfortunate.

I remember my late grandpa having a conversation with his cousin about how they collected and remitted rent for fellow landlords of igbo ethnicity during the war. If that isn't a show of humaneness, I don't know what is.

Exactly. I don't know how they were raised to harbour such hatred. We were never taught to hate any tribe. The amount of hate coming from Igbo's was a genuine shock to me.
They just think they're better humans with a superior culture and consider themselves more intelligent and more hardworking than everybody else. To their consternation, Yoruba don't have time for such inanities and we basically just do us, for better or for worse. This zen-ness, so to speak, rankles them a lot. grin

There was a thread I saw yesterday on a 9 year old falsely accused by his auntie of defiling his sister.

The boy became a victim of abuse.

All the actors in this episode were igbo.Yet, I noticed that not a single person who contributed turned it into a tribal war.

Honestly, this shows the level of maturity most tribes display but for Ipob.
Their problems with other tribes are largely self-inflicted. They assume they deserve things just because they desire them and other just have to acquiesce, and failure to guve in to them is a sign of hatred or betrayal. They are a group I find fascinating.

This is a false equivalence. You don't see millions of Yoruba people supporting miscreants and riffraff. What we saw, though, was millions of igbo, purportedly educated igbo support Kanu and his band of swine. Is there any yoruba person on nairaland who has shown support for agbero? Yet, we see igbos who supported and still support IPOB.

And yes, I am biased.

In my family, we are/weren't taught to hate any tribe. In fact, there are a lot of intertribal marriages in my extended family.

The truth is igbos do not like yorubas. Period. I cannot make them like us, and I don't have to like them either.
