I read with amusement the pathetic attempt by one Biola, a social media user from Nigeria who has blamed her Nigerian brothers for the rise of Prostitution in Nigeria. I have a very different opinion. I say women are the reason why there is an increase in prostitution. But as is typical of the modern woman, she cannot be at fault for her problems; it has to be the fault of the patriarchy or misogyny; never mind that she has full agency over her affairs and she offed paient by her very own self.

To begin; any experienced woman knows that men are only after sex from a woman. When a man begins to show unusual interest in a woman, everybody knows he's looking to sample that booty. Even the nicest guys, firmly tucked in the friend zone who present themselves are only after the booty. They might not be upfront and aggressive about their desire to shag, but their own nice-guy strategy is what they think is the best attempt at smashing. Guys are not asking for numbers, helping women to carry jerry cans and buckets; buying phones and recharge cards out of the goodness of their hearts. They do all these because they assume that would be the best way to arrive at the purpose. To tombey. After they achieve that purpose, everything else is irrelevant; even your feelings. When you lay down that coochie, the dance comes to an end. You're no longer as attractive and interesting as you thought you were. Ladies, if your mother's and fathers haven't told you this, they have failed you.

Now, this problem of smash-and-go was solved by marriage. In fact, if you wanted to smash, you had to first be married. However, since the sexual liberation in the 60s and 70s, men have been presented with a vast array of booty to sample from with little to exchange in terms of cost of sampling. Where in times past you had to part with your freedom in terms of bachelorhood, now all you need is a little grasp of seduction and persuasion skills at least and a fat wallet at most.

Now this presents a problem for modern women, most of whom dream of marriage, or maybe just a beautiful wedding. They can't make a modern men stay with them. The truth is men need more than just sex to stay with a woman. But seriously, let's ask ourselves what the modern woman offers a man said sex. Nothing. Ok, only kids. But think about it, if all you can give a man are sex and children what incentive is there for him to stick with you? Logically, he'll delay commitment as much and as long as he can. And can you really blame him?

Now To The Issue Of Guys Causing Prostitution: This is just silly on so many levels. The excuse that some person made you do something you shouldn't is worthy of a backhand across the face. That is sophistry. Nobody can make you do what you dont want to do as a free moral agent which this girl and most of her female colleagues are. The only people forced into prostitution are slaves, which exist in today's world by the way. Women, girls and boys are being kidnapped on a daily basis to be deployed as sex slaves across the world. This girl and the numerous oloshos in Naija are only poor moral agents, nothing more nothing less.

Perhaps, Biola should have remained chaste till marriage. That way she is guaranteed her own man who would never leave or, at least, won't leave for a long time.

No man is obliged to keep communication ongoing after smashing. That is the reality of the relationship marketplace we currently find ourselves in; and it will only get worse with more and more men opting out of marriage altogether. No sensible person buys a cow when they can get its milk for free, especially when others have unrestricted access to that same milk. The reasoning is they don't want bear the cost of maintaining the neighbourhood cow. Collect as much milk as you want and move on.

The idea of marriage for love is a fairly new one in the history of mankind. That brand of marriage is in its dying stages. In the older days, women were married for pragmatic and utilitarian purposes. Any man marrying for love is involved in a hideous scam against his self interest. Women like Kenke, while all too common in today's world, are becoming the norm if they haven't already; and the boldness with which they practise their trade is fascinating. Back in the day, such wenches would have been disgraced and despatched off into ignominy.

Say no to marriage based on love. As a man, one must be sure and doubly sure he is getting maximum for his effort in housing and feeding a woman. Any woman who is more trouble than she is worth should be done away with like a virus. Get your balls and dignity back.

On a more serious note, this is the case with many Nigerian marriages. Some ladies spend all their prime, dating someone of their age. It doesn't work most times. When the guy is trying to build a life, the lady is already in her late twenties.

Everyone starts asking her "when will you call us for asoebi?". She starts putting pressure on the guy and he'll say "I'm not holding you, if you see someone good...go, I will wish you well".

So, she starts looking for someone else, most times an older man. She sees one and marries him ASAP, he sef is already getting 'old' and just wanna start a family. Thy are both married, but are they happy? It's a vicious cycle. I don't advice girls to date their mates. Most times, women marry up and men marry down. Don't rush into marriages only to cheat on your husbands.

People saying she isn't cheating, is it until she climbs into his bed? If you see your husband/wife, telling an ex they still love them with passion. You will say it's not cheating ? This is emotional cheating. If the guy presses further, it's only a matter of time

Convictions aren't enough. Do you know how many tape convictions have turned out to be merely false accusations? Even råpe cases where fathers, yes fathers, have been falsely accused because their wife wanted to punish him for a perceived wrong? Just this Wednesday, a man who had spent 46 years in jail on råpe charges was found not guilty because of new evidence. 46 fûcking years. There's a reason for the term "beyond reasonable doubt".

On the flip side, do you know how many real cases of råpe have been tossed out for lacking sufficient evidence? . You can feel outraged all you want, the law still has a fairly reaonable process for trying allegations. Bungling it could mean that justice is eventually not served. For all our zeal, care should be taken to follow due process.

What I know mostly is what I've heard them talk about and when I've seen them argue about money sharing after a 'job' is successful. My friend's girlfriend owns a bar in some coded neighbourhood in Ogun state and I've heard enough to fear police.

There was this time when a man was carjacked after which he made a report at their division. Luckiky, after a few weeks car was found in another state and it was transferred to them. Anyway, car owner didn't know and after two months went back to check on the progress of the search and saw his car gathering dust. Happy as he was, oga thought he could carry his car along since the lost item had been recovered. Never mind he hadn't been contacted before his arrival there.

Anyway, dude goes to stake his claim and begin the collection process only to be billed 200k. As he starts to protest, he's asked if he knows how his car was revovered which, of course. he doesn't. They lied that there was a shootout with robbers and that one of their colleagues is critically injured and they'll need money for hospital bills which government isn't really paying. So, they can't leave their colleagues to suffer in vain while car owner simply waltzes away with his car . He must to drop something.

Car owner pleads and pleads and has to negotiate to 50k, after all he wants is his car back. Takes him couple of days to come up with the money and take it there. No car. Dem done move am.

Long story short, it takes him almost a month to get that car back from them, and that is after involving a lawyer. And he still parted with 100k, as well as, lawyer fees.

So many stories they tell of lawyers and judges being intimidated by them. Sometimes, the way a case is handled at inception can Bleep up a good case.

No, I'm not law enforcement but I've been around enough of them to that they know how to manipulate the judicial process to extract almost whatever outcome they desire.

With my experiences with them I'm uncomfortable around them. Their only allegiance is avarice and greed. Underestimate them at your own peril.

Why is he insane? He may be ignorant, he may be distrustful of the judiciary and reluctant to want to deal with it. But does that make him insane? Anybody can fling insults on the internet, that's no proof of sanity, intelligence or knowledge. What you should have done, which is even more productive, is take the anecdote of the person you insulted and let them see how the situation they witnessed can be avoided. Now that you've insulted them has the girl been saved?

People, especially women like to act all outraged when stuff like this comes up. You will shake your head in disbelief about what goes on in this country when you hear stories both of the crime in question and the way the law, or what passes for the law, handles it.

After all the insults back and forth, nobody here can categorically tell if this little girl will get help or not. I guess if we want to get to the root of the matter we could employ some high level tracing of OP's IP, and that still won't guarantee anything positive. They think the man wants to go to jail. Lol. He will fight to save his hide. Any man vicious enough to diddle his daughter should be handled like the snake he is. Oh, well. Good luck to the girl wherever she is. She'll be needing boatloads of it.

If you have ever been involved with the law in this country you'll know to bring your 100% when dealing with them. But what do I know, not only judges can be stupid.
