And i thought christians should be happy that non-christians are reading these stories and, who knows, may probably find a story that resonates with them and rethink their non-belief stand.

In my humble opinion, one of the main reasons for religious unbelief is some christians who acknowledge Christ with their lips and deny him by their lifestyle. Thats is what some non-believers really find unbelievable.

By the way it is a non-believer (my humble self) who inspired this thread by asking the op to write his own testimony in exchange for me to tell him my own experience with atheism.

Acts 15 talks about the Jerusalem council.i wont quote all the verses here,pls read up the entire chapter yourself but see verse 10 which goes thus ''Now therefore why tempt ye God,to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples,which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?'' this was in response to the requirement that gentile Christians which includes you and i, must observe all the laws in the torah.If Apostle Peter called the law a yoke why pick out a part of it(ignoring other equally important parts) and ask Christians to observe it or be damned? Let the spirit of God lead us as Romans 8:14 shows.

I ask honestly for someone to show me a verse expressly where Christ asked for it to be done or even a place in the all the new testament where it was raised.

We should really allow the Spirit to lead us.That is the only way we can enjoy the liberty for which Jesus died and resurrected.

Goshen360: At a time, I wanted to date a female teacher and when she refused, I organized my gang and we dealt with her. It was later found out and I was suspended from school and to bring my parent or guardian at resumption. This was at the time I was about to take my WAEC. Knowing that my uncle is a pastor, I can't go to school with my uncle; I had to organize my 'Area father' to come stand in for me and disguise as my guardian. So when he came to the school authorities, they told him everything and he was acting - slapping me for real like a discipline.....

I was involved in all kinds of satanic activities - charms, juju, consult herbalist etc and was very aggressive with females. Any girl wey no agree to date me then na bitting be her portion. Me and my gang go beat her reach her mama house.... . Well, make I no go beyond this point. Anyway, I was a rascal in female affairs - una dey feel me shey? . My rascal lifestyle grew to the point that I can stand anyone and look them in the face even my uncle and his wife - There was a time my uncle's wife messed with me and I felt she wasn't respectful. I chased her out with CUTLASS. . Most days of the week when my uncle is asleep, I sneak out with my gang at night to go shopping - you know what I mean right.....I'm talking out night business. If we don't get anything, we end up catch people's fowl, slaughter and make night pepper soul..... .

Well, the rest is story anyway. I was fed the word of God in all of these faces of Christian life until I began to do more personal study and began to spot error from the truth. It's being glorious moments walking with God and only the Grace can sustain us.
