Pls my sister who is an HND holder in Elect elect wants to know if its possible for her to do a nursing course in the US ? She desires to do nursing in the US
Pls will it still be the same process in its requirement just like the Masters programme ?
Also, do u have any idea of the likely cost of tuition for this type of programme pls?

For a first time traveller to the US, its always the best to arrive in the state where u told the VO at the interview. It will clear all doubts.
If u have to change destination, ensure u have a very good reason, especially for a first time traveller.
That's my opinion. Others will shed light on this

If this is the first time u are using the visa, u might have a tough questions at the POE as why changing destination. During my time, I filled Maryland in my form, eventually went to Ohio, and it was my first time. I was faced with serious interogations at the POE there in Ohio, spent almost 2 hours there, but I had a good reason for it anyway, and I was stamped in for 6 months

The most qualified of graduates in very technical fields become eligible for the H1B visa class. A company has to petition for you under this visa class in order for you to stay. Otherwise, no.

Pls I have a serious concern about Arikair airlines/planes. As u all know that people will always manage in Nigeria, companies, individuals, etc. Can someone trust airkair planes that their instrument (planes) won't be managed before it departs an international take off/flight ? I hope u understand mypoint. We all know that American airlines, BA, Airfrance airlines will never manage their planes, but can we trust Nigeria owned airline, Arikair planes that the planes are in good condition before flying ? Also, their pilots ? U know an average company in nigeria will always employ a cheap labourer. Can Arikair be trusted in terms of a safety flight to NY, USA ?

No, it won't. Like me now, my final destination is Washington DC and later Texas but I booked Arik to New York and would take bus to DC and bus to Texas and other places I will later visit. You can entre through any POE so far you are holding a valid US Visa. Although it is 27 hours drive to Colorado but you can take a flight from NY to Colorado which is estimated between $190 - $521 according to farecompare.com or use cheapflights.com.

Really ? And I won't be questioned why not heading to where I told the vo at the interview at the POE ?

June, July, august, all same, 417k entering his account and withdrew till last kobo, like 5k life left
Now, if he earns his September salary and it gets into his account, can he leave it there and quickly apply for the UK visa ?
He is the one who is applying alone, he has US visit visa, visited USA just once
He is only visiting UK for Xmas while me and my kids stays back in naija
Pls can he use such above statement of account to apply for the visit UK visa ?

I see no issues with change of plan due to circumstances. It may not even come up on point of entry, but if it comes up you simply tell them the reasons why you changed your mind

I have just secured visas for my 2 kids, on the fact that I told the vo when I went to apply for visas for my kids 2 weeks ago that we are planning to visit the US form the Xmas and new year, and in fact, the vo specifically asked me if we are planning to travel as a family for Xmas and I answered yes
But from the look of things , we are not going to be able to go again is December, as we have decided to make it February next year. Considering the fact that I told the vo during my kids interview that we are tralleing in December for Xmas and we won't go again, will it not count against us ? Myself and my husband already have visas long ago and just my kids got theirs 2 weeks ago

Flight+ Living expenses for 4 of you shud cost nothing less than N600k. Hope you have a lot more than this in your account. The VO will consider ur account balance versus ur budget. If u choose to stay in a hotel, that's extra cost.

Still do a clear budget and post here like Iblaw suggested.

Jus tot I shud add: do not try to inflate ur account, avoid unexplained lump sums.

I really appreciate u. My husband earns 417k monthly while I earn 160k, but u know, we spend as we earn, we live in our own personal duplex and we have 2 exotic cars. Currently, my husband have around 300k in his account but once he earns his next salary and mine too, it will go over a million.
However, we budgeted 600k for flight which we already know
Do u suggest my husband should apply first for the visa since his account statement is not buoyant for now with just 300k in his account while myself and the kids apply later?

Either way you are good to go...your trip to the US gives you a good travel history but that does not mean automatic visa oo make sure your papers are right(explain huge cash deposits in your account etc. Uk look at your papers and you will not be there to explain unlike US that look at your face and the way you answer questions at the interview.

Good day great people. Pls I need your assistance as regards vacation for me and my family for this Xmas in the UK.
I am a structural engineer and my husband is a banker. We have 2 kids ages 3 and 7. All of us have a valid US visit visa, but only me and my husband visited the US for a wedding months ago and we spent 7 days each. Our kids never visited the US but they also have their visas. They recently got the visas.
We plan to spend the Xmas and new year in the UK as a family. I only have friends there in the UK. Will it be an easy ride for us to get a UK visas please ?

Pls how can I get like half tuition scholarship in any university in the US for masters programme? Or possibly a full tuition ? I plan doing masters in public health or epidemiology. What and what do I needs to be able to qualify for it ?

Why will u use a visit visa to get a job in the US ? Why not apply for the appropriate visa. Pls we don't give illegal advice here. There are several categories of visa. Do not use a B1B2 to work

I quickly left the consular"s presence immediately she said the visa were approved before she changes her mind as to if not to approve the visa again, ( u know these consulars can be funny sometimea) and now I don't know when to pick their passports from dhl office.
Pls for those who got their visas in Lagos on Monday, when are u people asked to pick up your visas ?

Just arrived home. Myself and my 2 kids arrived the embassy in laghos around 9am, interview was for 11am but I just went inside straight with my kids. All security checks done. Remember I said I and my husband already have valid visit visa but my 2 kids are the ones applying

Me: yes they are, good morning
Consular; I guess u are going on vacation to the US ?
Me: yes
Consular: are u going as a family ?
Me: yes
