Phones / Re: Differences Between Android And Window Phones by BeloHorizonte14: 3:31pm On Mar 04, 2015
kollybay4u:

During my final year at the university I bought Lumia 520 and that's phone I used in both first and second semesters for downloading journals and pdf files used for my project. In fact, all the school assignments and others online stuff were done with the phone in partner with my laptop. The ucweb browser and the operami helped me to handle that to browse and to download then open it with pdf or adobe reader. I never visited any café for any internet stuff and I even collected some projects of my friends and I made alot of money. Please nobody should deceive you have what you will need to perform those stuff there.
Let me tell you this why some people run away from buying wp is because of the money to buy it. My friend told me that instead of him to buy the Lumia 520 that I bought for #28,000 then he will either go for Techno phones, he bought two techno phones for #14,000 each making #28,000 the same amount I bought one Lumia Phone but I will tell you himself and his girlfriend didn't used the phone more than six months before it gets stuck. The durability in wp can't be compared with some android phone could you believe that I later sold my Lumia 520 to my friend after more than one and half year using the phone.
If you have huge amounts of money you can buy that Lumia 930 now but better still you can buy Lumia 535 the first phone made by Microsoft after acquired Nokia last year November and that is the phone I'm using presently and it doesn't that cost.
Thank you Sir.

It depends.. How much is your budget? I may have said getting a windows tablet will make maximum sense because you'll be dealing with docs and other files.. A blackberry 10 (z10 or q5) will be much easier to maintain down the line in terms of data subscruption but if ure not ready to shed much money, a lumia (windows phone) or android (go with samsung or other major android oems)..

It still boils down to how much ure willing to spend
Thank you Sir. I have a budget of 70k to 90k

Feel like jumping into this argument...

The droidboys are here again doing what they do best- Bashing anyone who is not in their os platform.

Its saddening to hear that someones only measure of a phone not lagging is determined by how well i it runs ashphalt 8 (like say na benchmark app).

Do i have to shed out cash to get a high end device just to be lagfree (for the year pending the next heavy updates)

Some people just want something that works..

Like i said in one of my earlier posts on a thread similar to this.. The rate of customization and much tweaking declines as u grow older and get more engaged with work. Yeah initially, u may diss wp on first impression but later on you'll grow to love it because its fluidity and not so powerhungry apps. There is also an app for every feature even though the alternatives are not as robust as the android market.

I sincerely hope im not speaking to the teammtk group sha

With love from
IOS 8.1.2 4.7in

please which OS would you advise a student to get for easy book-work? Thank you.

I don't know o. I have never been raped (thank God). However, if I should hazard a guess, I think it's because for women, sex is a very deep, physical thing. If you rape a woman, its like stripping her naked and shoving her into public like that. The violation is like ...deep and horrifying.
Amen and God forbid that u wil be raped for He shall lead you in a path no rapist and eye of evil know not of. Anyways, thank you for giving me your best answer.

To correct number 3. I meant you could meet with professionals in your field.

To submit and application in person only means one thing. They do not want to go through the stress of a rigorous recruitment process so they want to judge on the spot your look, your dressing, your mannersim, your confidence, your resume and probably a couple of questions.

Make sure you look presentable, smile and have a well written resume.
Also try and research about the company and the role you are applying for.
wow! I almost goofed it. Thank you very much Sir. Sir,the position I am applying for is a 'graduate trainee' and the medium of which the job vacancy was communicated (the Guardian newspaper) didnt say much about the company other than the address and Email of the company. What can i do sir? Thank you.

Thank you so much very Sir for this enlightenment . I almost goofed it. The position I am applying for is a 'graduate trainee' and as for the finding out what the company is all about: the medium of communicating the vacancy (a newspaper) didnt say much about the company other than the the address and Email of the company. Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My First Interview Experience by BeloHorizonte14: 10:34pm On Nov 10, 2014
NairaMode:

There are three ways you can go about that.

1) You can send an unsolicited application to the company requesting for internship.
Your application will have to be clear-cut and presentable and sound.

2) You can visit the coy and ask an audience with the Human Resource or with the MD. Most private firm grants an audience to people requesting to see them.
Do not look desperate when probably meeting with the secretary. Ask that you will like to develop your career and be a giant in that particular line of work and you will just need a professional counsel from them. It is hard but doable. It's a risk.

When you meet with the HR or MD, speak passionately and intelligently not desperately about how you would like to grow in that line of work as an intern, assistant or as the case may be.

3) You could meet with professionals in thy files to get "bullet" ways in which you could join such career part.
Thank you very much sir. I appreciate your elderly counsel. Sir please forgive my naivty: how does one prepare for a company's job advert that says submit C.V. in person? Thank you sir.

Interviews has just five keys to landing them. They are the keys that I use.

1) Be audible
2) Be confident
3) Let all your responses be completely logical and most times be in relation to the position you are applying for.
4) Be very practical
5) Be very very positive.

Not at all, my good man...

Old Money - Wealth (most times passed on from generation to generation) that comes with pedigree, class, and quiet dignity. Synonymous with the bourgeois or proletariat class of society. Old money families will typically teach their children six languages and three instruments including violin, piano and other classy shxt. They know the difference between a chardonnay and a cabernet sauvignon, and how to consume, and with what. Vehicles of choice, Mercedes, Rolls Royce. Vacation destinations include Gstaad, Switzerland (they know the G is silent), Ibiza (they know it is pronounced "I-bee-tha"wink, etc. Examples include Dantata & family, Yuzedo (the Elite) & Sons, etc.

New Money - Riches (newly acquired to the surprise of all including and especially the holder) that motivates one to flaunt it on social media. Buy garrulous jewellery, buy "HUMMER JEEP" or any other Fxcking "JEEP" for that matter (it's not an SUV to them) and champagne every friday with ratchet hoes and equally-loud, "jaiye-jaiye" friends. The money dey quick finish, e no dey ever reach their grandkids because they are averse to buying the future, but would rather purchase vanities in the present. Holiday itinerary - LONDON (e no dey ever pass London, and they love Peckham more than Jesus Christ?! Oh my fackin' gaad!! Can also be found in Woolwich, NEVER EVER in Knightsbridge) Examples include ALL NIGERIAN CELEBRITIES (except Rita Dominic), Femi-Fani Kayode, and Sagamite (Bros i use God beg you na play!)

... Hope I have been able to convince you and not confuse you. Tenk! smiley
lol....thanks a lot Sir for the enlightenment coupled with the amusement. The way you put it makes me desire the old money life. I appreciate. If i may ask,how does one become classy and live the old money life?

It lacks a Theme and Character.. #Good Point..

The Neons I dont mind.. Infact I can live with them only if the house is saturated with White light.. But the moment you leave just the neons on, the house ceases to be a home. grin Lets give her the benefit of the doubt that she was trying to create an atmosphere of sorts for the purpose of the pictures.. Those Neons should never come on again except he is hosting a house party.

Judging the pictures, I think somebody went into Dubai (the cheap side) and bought a lot of everything and splashed all over the house without any real idea in their head as to what they wanted to achieve. grin Those walls are the part I cant get over.. Go to their club and its the exact same thing. grin

This looks like something designed by someone who thinks it cool to wear sunshades inside a Nightclub.. grin

i almost peeped into my dictionary, but i remembered no cheating. The words looks strange to me
Family / Re: Who Is A God-fearing Individual? by BeloHorizonte14: 11:29pm On Sep 11, 2014
Acidosis: The word isn't strange:

Acts 10:1-2
"In Caesarea there lived a Roman army officer named Cornelius, who was a captain of the Italian Regiment.
He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly."

A God-fearing man is:
1. Loving: I John 5:1-3

2. Sacrificial: John 15:13

3. Gentle, Patient, Meek: 2Ti 2:24-26

4. Dependent on God: 2Co_12:9

5. A Provider: 1Ti 5:8

Lets learn to apply wisdom in all we say. Should we say all women are pros. titutes because some get men to bed for money?
Believe it or not, there are God-fearing men and women. Even if you can pinpoint any in your family or environs; read the aforementioned bible verse. Cornelius is a case in point.
Bros mi,you are so on point. God-fearing means to living a life of Love. Love, accordin to the Bible,is kind, faithful, tolerant, understanding and patience.
