The best of South America and beyond will descend on Brazil in the latest installment of the Copa America.

Chile are the defending champions following their successes in 2015 and 2016 and will hope Alexis Sanchez can rediscover his form to fire them to a hat-trick of trophies.

Argentina are waiting for their talisman Lionel Messi to decide whether he will come out of his self-imposed exile in a bid to end his country's trophy drought.

And Brazil will be hoping for success on home soil having last won silverware at the World Cup in Japan and South Korea in 2002.

The traditional South American sides are joined by guests Japan and Qatar.

Nigeria will be taking part in this competition for the 12th time at Poland 2019. The Flying Eagles have reached the last four on three occasions, finishing runners-up in 1989 and 2005, and third in 1985. At New Zealand 2015, when they last graced this tournament, they managed to progress from their group but then crashed out to Germany (1-0) in the last 16.

The road to Poland
The qualifiers for Poland 2019 were not exactly plain sailing for Nigeria, who were made to work hard for their ticket. After kicking things off with a 2-0 win over Burundi, the Flying Eagles were then held to a scoreless draw against South Africa. In the end it took a 73rd minute strike against hosts Niger to secure the narrow 1-0 win that booked their place in Poland. However, there was to be no podium finish on this occasion after successive penalty shootout defeats to Mali (1-1, 3-4 PSO) and South Africa (0-0, 3-5 PSO) in the semi-final and third-place game respectively.

After spells in South Africa (Cape Town FC), England (Bury) and more recently with well-known Nigerian clubs Warri Wolves FC and Eniyamba, Paul Osahon Aigbogun was appointed head of Nigeria’s U-20 team at the beginning of 2018. Despite nearly 20 years of coaching experience, this is his first role with a national team.

7 – Of the 21 players who made up the Nigeria’s title winning squad at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Chile 2015, seven are still eligible to play at U-20 level and potential candidates for Poland 2019. These are: goalkeeper Akpan Udoh; defender Ejike Ikwu; midfielders Kingsley Michael, Samuel Chukwueze and Edidiong Essien; and forwards Sunday Alimi and Funsho Bamgboye.

I think what they meant is that , once you come, you take another cylinder of equal size. You don't have to stick to your own but there will be quarrel when you bring a neat one and an ugly one is given to you in exchange.

Big Brother Naija 2017 housemate and the second runner up of the reality TV show, TBoss has fired back at her critics, following her rant on Big Brother Naija Housemates 2018 being dirty.

Recall that TBoss who was known for her ‘cleanliness during her time on the reality show in 2017, took to her Instagram to express her irritations towards the present housemates.

After watching female housemate, Princess rub ice-cream on her fellow housemates’ lips and body, with same spoon, TBoss wrote:

”Big brother please stop that one that is putting ice cream on everyone’s lips and nipples with the same spoon.

OMG now she is sitting on the bare floor with her butt half exposed, yukk, talk about unsanitary.

TBoss who ignited the wrath of her critics, in her Instalive video called out those who can't walk up to her on a normal day, sitting in their homes and using their N100 data to insult her for making a 'clear' observation.

According to her, anybody who has a 'bloody brain and bloody eyes', will see what was happening in the house on Saturday Night. TBoss further said she doesn't care as she will keep still being herself.
