Ahmed Nur Elmi went back to UK in 2011 after withdrawing his Green card application where he was asked about his marriage to Ilhan. She would later divorce Ahmed Nur Elmi Said in 2017, remarry her Sharia husband in 2018 and finally divorce him in 2019.
