He was silent and unseen during the EndSARS protest. Instead when called upon to give testimony at the EndSARS panel, he went to court to get an injunction to prevent the panel from summoning him.

Where was he as Governor, when all the Awkuzu SARS massacre was ongoing, despite being a friend of the federal PDP in charge of the Police and a close confidant of President Jonathan?
