that is a big lie they zoned deputy senate president not senate president to southeast which was why rochas okorocha thought they could push out ekweremadu using senator Benjamin uwajumogu from IMO state APC. Unfortunately uwajumogu is expected to decamp to the PDP when the time comes.

APC will only be foolish the second time if they zone the senate president to the south just because they want to accommodate akpabio who is a blooded pdp man when they are yet to recover from the beating received from saraki.

But joke aside,I think Saraki didn't expect this and I give it to Asiwaju Tinubu for his political sagacity. Anyone who has watched house of cards knows that u don't play all your political cards at once and that was the mistake saraki made.

In the coming days, Saraki will be taught how politics is being played and I made bold to say he will be left in the cold soonest but there won't be a way out.

By my calculations,he will still hold sway in kwara State but by 2019 his national political relevance will be zero. And mind you,he won't be forgiven.

I pity politicians running under saraki ,he can only deliver Kwara State.His political relevance cannot even influence who becomes a Local government chairman in Kogi state unlike Asiwaju who is a guru in the business.

Igbo people stand on Buhari is clear and simple, stop making him feel good about it. And of course Igbo people don't care about what Buhari will do if he succeeds in rigging himself into power again in 2019, no biggie, he can't do more than he has done for the past 3 years; killed hundreds of unarmed IPOB youths, retired Igbo military, Police officers instead of promoting and appointing them as heads of any of the security outfits, abandoning southeast region which he made clear in his 5% speech in US shortly after he was sworn in as President.

So we do not expect less from him should he rig himself into power again in 2019

And for those few mumu, hungry, unenlightened and money mongering Igbos that think Buhari will make an Igbo person President in 2023, I say good morning to you, keep fooling yourself and your generation.

Lastly, Igbo people do not need to become President under this current Nigerian political system that breeds corruption, supports incompetence and celebrates mediocre. What Igbos are asking for is:

1. Peaceful division of Nigeria into smaller independent nations

Or at worst

2. Total restructuring of Nigeria to form small independent regions with total freedom from the central government.

Just as the op said, every politician is an opportunist. I expect Akpabio to stab the APC in the back someday.

baba election is won based on how many states you win and not just based on number of votes cast. if you win 10 states with the highest votes cast, and someone wins 26 states with the votes cast less than the ten states, the person with 26 states wins. thats why winning or atleast getting 25 percent in other region is important. then your strong hold can be the decider for you. If not so most politician wouldn't even bother campaigning in states with low population, they would have just targeted states with huge population like lagos, kano, oyo, kaduna. and forget about the rest.

These defections have put APC in a panic mode.PDP is just quiet watching them.PDP will hit them again where it hots.APC is jittery.I see it in Kwara,Kano,Benue and now in Sokoto.APC is afraid.They are gone come 2019.I sympathise with them.They should take heart.
