ATTAHDYE: Lolz you don't have the patience to do something that concerns your life and future but you think it's another person that will have that patience. There is nothing so complicated about the whole visa thing truthfully. The biggest reason many people get rejected is Inadequate Finance: plain and simple. Forget the other things they paint around . You don't have or you have limited access to the required funds so you keep packing documents upon documents hoping to confuse IRCC. Pay your complete tution and have living expenses for a year in your account and you will breeze through the process. I have seen people here in Canada (Nigerians) who didn't even write SOP (It's actually an optional document but people here treat it like research paper) but got PPR for undergraduate (about 3 years course) because the money is there. If you are using a sponsor the person needs to show commitment by paying your fees and transferring living expenses to your account except it's a parent because if not what is the proof that the sponsorship account is not just for show. Think about it you are telling IRCC, you are coming to school and you have this funds set aside for it and can pay without it been an unreasonable expense for you. The question then is why haven't you then paid if that money is truly available? No agent can increase your finances for you (except fraudulently). The money you are paying them is even shortening your POF and neither is the process an exam that VO is marking. As long as you can read, write and use the internet you can do your application by yourself. 10 Likes |

Hey guys landed in London Ontario about a month ago. So far it has been hard to get a job and GTB told me they had reduced upkeep from Form A to only 600usd per quarter. So my foreign currency is a little scarce and I don't want to spend it all buying food when I still have rent and the rest to pay. So I thought about shipping food from Nigeria but the price DHL gave my people over N200,000 just for items bought less than N70,000 seems expensive so does anyone know a reliable cheaper shipping method from Nigeria (Abuja) to Canada? 2 Likes |

SLOVFO:I heard they sometimes for POF but it seems to be extremely rare and you can show them through your bank app or statement of account I guess. No one asked me or anyone with me for POF. All they asked for was our LOI and Canada ended all vaccination requirements since October last year 1 Like |

Drepee:I came in for may intake and by March 15th or so we got our invoices for the semester which confirmed payment. And from that March 15 I was shown as enrolled on my portal for May semester and I was even able to access my class schedule so maybe you need to properly verify that 1 Like |

OLAN2015: Lolz what is this. I'm even having headache looking at it. My SOP was just two and a half pages. No LOE and I got my visa. As long as your documents are legible and in the correct section they will see it. It's not an exam or research paper. However if this is your preferred method to make your mind feel at ease please use it 7 Likes |

Shugharland:You are normally given 14 days to appeal the pending decision (procedural fairness or whatever they call it) but that is before the ban is given. Once it is given there is nothing you can do. Do not waste your money on any consultant/agent/ who will tell you they can appeal it. If you are still interested and focused on japa you will need to start looking at other countries |

Hello guys Landing Gist Used Ethiopia airlines through Abuja 26th April. Immigration officials were friendly and even allowed my parents go with me past the traveller only section. I came in about two hours to the flight. At The check in section, the Ethiopian airlines official in charge of checking come day do busybody: passport, admission letter, log into student portal let me see (for my mind I say Shay I go hold visa if I no carry all this things) After that Paid for my extra baggage( To me it is better to pay for extra baggage in naira in Nigeria than come here and be using scarce FX for food and the rest ) At the airport in Toronto there were a lot of us and all they did was take our Letter of introduction then we signed declaration or whatever form through a machine like an ATM and then they gave us the permits. I didn't see them ask any body any question. You can also get your SIN number at the airport but there might be a queue. Also do not change dollars at the airport. I opened CIBC bank at the airport and changed in their branch in the city for a very good rate. Got SIM card there as well. From there to my BNB and moved May 2 to my apartment. Finding private bathroom was so stressful, almost all the apartments were sharing bathrooms but got at last So currently I'm in London Ontario for Fanshawe. If you are around here as well holla. 28 Likes |

eldersir20: I get your point but transit has to be considered. 9am lecture means you have to leave by at least 8am. One hour lost on the road no be beans . But anyways I'm still looking at options so I might still look at that. The one close to the school what's the price and are there still other available rooms? |
