There was a cult war that swept across Benin some time ago, but the Eiye and Aye number one man in a area said to themselves "we don't have members to be sacrificed like cows" and throughout that war, there was no hit in that area, that's change. we don't wait for others, we just do what we know is right.

The igala people of Kogi state are part of the Yoruba race, the igala language is a branch of the yoruba language.

Igala people even though living in the middle belt of Nigeria have the same ancestors and share the same culture and traditions with the yoruba people just like the ishekiris in the niger delta and the Bini people of Edo state.

The dialect of the igala people Idah, Imane, Ankpa, Dekina, Ogugu, Ibaji and Ife all have the same sounds and intonations with yoruba language even many yoruba people understand what an igala person is saying.
