But why do people not know the difference between Pythons, Cobras and Adders (Vipers), these are common breeds of snake around us and are noticeably different from each other. Pythons are longer and bigger with snout-like noses, swallow instead of biting and have long tails.

Cobras are usually long, slender, black or brownish at the front, have hoods sometimes and keep a distance with a head up when annoyed.

Vipers are sometimes fat, brown or black in color, have short tails, don't have snout-like noses, have two sharp long fangs (which you'll only notice after a bite) and are distinctively shorter than the Cobra and Python.

Cobras and Adders(Vipers) and poisonous while Pythons aren't,

Cobras are longer than Adders and slimmer or much slender as compared to the Adder.

Pythons have snout-like noses and are long.

Pythons swallow unlike the other two.

They are all common to West or Sub-Saharan Africa.

Yes that's the nonsense most Christians have been forced to reduce themselves to, seeking the destruction of their enemies when the first prayer ever taught by Jesus to be forgiven as they forgive those who trespass against them.

We all know there is a Spiritual warfare out there but did Jesus ask for his enemies to die on the Cross? Isn't Jesus our role model?

Moreso, this earth is temporary not permanent so whatever damage is done to you here can not deter you from the kingdom so why ask for death for your enemies as if you haven't offended someone before?

To be honest there is no justification for this form of prayer for any true Christian.

What all Christians must do is forgive.

Answer to No. 1, The Bible explains how to deal with misunderstandings in Matt 18:15-17 he should try that with a bit of patience.

Answer to No. 2, Same thing that shows a good Christian, Character... If the family excels, the entirety of the neighborhood or community they live in would feel it as the family is the building block of the society.

Answer to No. 3, Does that mean that if you don not pick a fight with your family members, you are not at oneness with Jesus? I highly doubt that but it rather means that those who cause you to err his will when you serve him can not be at peace with you just as light and darkness do not sit on the same seat.

Note that in all of these peace is still key and one can live in peace with his family and yet serve God effectively.

I attended Christ Embassy CC 2 port Harcourt last sunday and have not recovered.. The Pastor said that ministry comes before marriage because some pastors was posted away from their wife ..I can't imaging his ideology! Christianity is turning to madness!

Okay this one has a twist to it... Look at the story of Hosea who married a Harlot but had to preach, God used his experience with the Harlot to minister to the people of Israel.

Paul was never married, he said it will hinder his ministry.

So many Bible characters put their Marriages UNDER the mission at hand rather than above it...

But when you read Bible quotes like "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it", "Husbands love your wives as you would love yourself as she is your body as you are hers" and you also look at the characters of these Bible figures it also suggests that they took great caution raising proper homes while being ministers.

1. The family should never be neglected in the name of mission as God won't forgive you for the ruin of your children due to neglect... See Eli and his Sons.

2. For a minister to excel, his home must be an example or model for others. Charity begins at home.

3. Most ministers use the line Ministry before family for dubious reasons But the Bible never suggested that at all...

I have being reading this verse of the Bible but never gotten clear meaning and understanding to what that passage is saying, please, Bible scholars here should throw more light to it.

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:" Matthew 5:38

The text references Leviticus 24:20 where Moses in one of his law proposes retaliation but reading on in Matthew 5 you get to understand that Jesus was speaking against it.

According to my research,






for the believer in Jesus Christ, the Bible tells us that after death believers’ souls/spirits are taken to heaven, because their sins are forgiven by having received Christ as Savior ( John 3:16 , 18 , 36 ).




For believers, death is to be “away from the body and at home with the Lord” ( 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 ; Philippians 1:23 ). However, passages such as 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 describe believers being resurrected and given glorified bodies.



If believers go to be with Christ immediately after death, what is the purpose of this resurrection? It seems that while the souls/spirits of believers go to be with Christ immediately after death, the physical body remains in the grave “sleeping.” At the resurrection of believers, the physical body is resurrected, glorified, and then reunited with the soul/spirit. This reunited and glorified body-soul-spirit will be the possession of believers for eternity in the new heavens and new earth ( Revelation 21-22 ).



Second, for those who do not receive Jesus Christ as Savior, death means everlasting punishment. However, similar to the destiny of believers, unbelievers also seem to be sent immediately to a temporary holding place, to await their final resurrection, judgment, and eternal destiny. Luke 16:22-23 describes a rich man being tormented immediately after death. Revelation 20:11-15 describes all the unbelieving dead being resurrected, judged at the great white throne, and then being cast into the lake of fire. Unbelievers, then, are not sent to hell (the lake of fire) immediately after death, but rather are in a temporary realm of judgment and condemnation. However, even though unbelievers are not instantly sent to the lake of fire, their immediate fate after death is not a pleasant one.



The rich man cried out, “I am in agony in this fire” ( Luke 16:24 ).




Therefore, after death, a person resides in a “temporary” heaven or hell. After this temporary realm, at the final resurrection, a person’s eternal destiny will not change. The precise “location” of that eternal destiny is what changes. Believers will ultimately be granted entrance into the new heavens and new earth ( Revelation 21:1 ).




Unbelievers will ultimately be sent to the lake of fire ( Revelation 20:11-15 ). These are the final, eternal destinations of all people—based entirely on whether or not they had trusted Jesus Christ alone for salvation ( Matthew 25:46 ; John 3:36 ).

Christians read their Bibles too little, Know Nothing of what they speak sometimes and Argue too much about it... Big reason why the Word is watered down more often than none. How would the Unbeliever know? How can the Christian live in light? How can salvation come?

When the Word you speak of, you know little or nothing about?

I will summarize this topic for you but will make some suggestions to you at the end, please follow them and you'll understand the Bible far more than when your Pastor Preaches. The Bible is no secret and shouldn't have it's stories told in part by man.


When you die, believer or not, the reverse of creation takes place.

1. Your breath, believer or not (which in actual sense is not yours but God's) goes back to the giver, God. Check Ecclesiastics 3:7 for more light on this!
2. Your flesh goes back to the dust which it came from. Still simply explained in Ecc. 3 no need for much discussion on this if you are a Bible believing Christian (Or NOT)

3. All these happen as you await judgement if you died a sinner while the righteous ones would be resurrected at Christ's second coming which will leave the wicked living on earth dead.(please note that Revelation makes you realize that there is a first death and second death also a first and second resurrection. The wicked would partake of the first and second death while the saved would partake of the first resurrection.) The New Testament is clear on these issues.

4. At the return of the New Jerusalem when the final judgement would be passed (and as we say, Hell be let loose), the wicked who would have been dead for a thousand years (The Millennium: Which is also the bottomless pit for the Devil as he will have no one to tempt for a thousand years) would be resurrected by the Devil to wage war against the returning King and his kingdom (The Battle of Armageddon) but would all be destroyed as the final judgement will be passed. This happens after God is pronounced as a just King who is fair and just in his judgement and all the Creatures worship him.

5. After the punishment (Hell: the fire that consumes them all), The New Kingdom sits on the world and spreads on (This is the New Earth).




Now If you still believe this concerns just Christians, then you need to ask yourself this question
Why do you exist if not to praise God? Where you just created to become manure? Or do you have a higher purpose and were designed for this?


Next if you say we go to Hell or Heaven Straight then ask yourself this
When would the battle of Armageddon be? When Jesus said all Earth shall see him, what is the purpose of coming again when we will already have been in Heaven or Hell after our death?


If also you say only the believer's breath goes back to God, read Ecclesiastics 3 well and tell me, does the Bible Contradict itself when it say ALL?
Also did God create man in the forms of Believer and Non-Believer? Aren't we all his Children?


Now if you don't believe in God, well I'm actually not going to try to convince you, I'll just say, no other force, being or teaching can better explain your purpose than the one who made YOU possible. God set this whole thing up, he'll tell you why at the end of time when he returns that is if you don't find him before then!


Finally God is for everyone, Sinner or Believer alike.

To the Author of this post, nice one but you still have a lot of work to do as regards researching on this topic. Read your Bible thoroughly as this topic holds the secret of Spirits haunting (Which is a big lie, just Demons disturbing us humans), Judgement, the nature of Humanity and Sin and also Gods promise for us all in the light of all these.

Remember, Isaiah 28:13 "Precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little that they may go and fall backward and be broken and snared and taken"


NB: All I just said are in the Bible please do go and do your research for yourselves, do not argue it, learn it and live it, it would be life to you.
