Music/Radio › Re: What Artists Should Learn From Burna Boy's New Album Twice As Tall by BenzEne1(m): 3:24pm On Aug 29, 2020 |
Mophasa: Burna Boy's #TWICEASTALL album is actually a world class project as it was properly put together!
It is currently topping charts in 54 countries across the world as well as setting a new record on the billboard charts for African artists. ..
The features on the album were very strategic and exceptional as well as perfectly executed to meet world class standards, cutting across Europe, America and Africa.
This is what really caught my interest, the features and collaborations, Puff daddy Executive producing the album was an act of genius from Burna boy and his team.
From Chris Martins of the award winning British band coldplay (Monsters you made) and the talented Stormzy (Real life) representing the Great Britain, To the legendary Yossou Ndour from Senegal (Twice as tall) repping Eastern Africa , Souti Soul (Time flies) repping southern Africa to Naughty by Nature, P.diddy and Timbaland (On naughty by nature & Production credits) rooting for America , it actually made the album very sophisticated to reach out to every corner of the earth that f^cks with afro beats.
The album is already breaking new grounds and setting new records for African music in the international market.
The PR and promotions for the album can never be over emphasized as his team actually put in a great work.
There is actually a lot to learn from this as Twice as tall will definitely get more than one nominations at the 2021 Grammy awards and winning it will definitely make The Port-Harcourt born Burna boy the greatest artist of his generation.
Prince PR strategist Amazing piece of work really. Burna is in a different category from the regular bunch. Meanwhile, Sauti Sol is a Kenyan group (East Africa). You know we've been under the shackles of this supremacists even after independence. I think he's using the medium he has pretty well. |

What I don't get is why all political parties receive sworn enemies with open arms and smiles. While they were at each other's throats the last elections.
It's all a scam, they are acting and stealing no matter the platform. The outcome remains the same whichever evil you cast your vote for.

cuteeme: Is it not muslims that make up islam, why do u people get so excited when an individual join islam? Or take pride in your population? , if thats the case any sin that a christian makes should not be associated to christianity by u muslims... Continue taqqiyaing. For example the pastor who was caught giving a lady he wasn't married to head (MouthAction), the video is online and the thread was on this platform. If I was to say Christianity encourages a follower to do that, would I be wrong or right. Islam is divine and free of error, muslims are not. Think about that and relate it with what I wrote. |

OKOATA: weed brownies? I gotta check YouTube on how to make that, I noticed my smoking habit increased this year, I smoke like 6 wraps daily but I just stopped of recent, I now put in my food and it stays longer in my body so 1 wrap in the food like beans, spaghetti, vegetables can take me a whole day so it’s better for me that way. I get high for long and I write and make 3 songs daily, what I noticed about smoking is that my throat sometimes hurt so it’s just best I continue eating it. I remember one day I chewed it I was high as fvck but I don’t like chewing because of the taste but sometimes I just chew too. Lol Chewing weed doesn't get anyone high. Heat is always needed to decarboxylate the THC so the user gets high. Maybe you chewed on something else |

Politics › Re: Mark Esper Says U.S. Troops Are NOT Withdrawing From Iraq by BenzEne1(m): 10:32am On Jan 07, 2020 |
Ladycewhy: yeah ,the US also told me about Iswap beheading Nigerians as revenge for the death of a man in iraq,or the US also told me about bokoharam ,or maybe it was the US that told me about the attack on non-Muslims in kano some years ago over a cartoon made in Denmark ,huh?i don't need the US to tell me anything, here in Nigeria you Muslims are a typical example what Islam depicts.
The north is as volatile as they come, living in the north as a non-Muslim is like living in a war zone ,you never know when the next bomb will drop.Christians in the north and their communities are currently being decimated ,they claim its herdsmen but we know it has religious undertone.
I will still say it again, with no apologies ,if any Muslim country was a world power like America. They would have forced the entire world to become Muslims and level countries who resist to the ground with atomic bombs and bio warfare.
Insha allah you say? I was expecting allakuarba or whatever you people shout before daggering people or blowing them up So when Alice Lakwena decided to upturn the government of Uganda by arming child soldiers and killing innocent citizens, it wasn't terrorism? When this same USA against the wishes of even allied countries and without veto from other UN countries illegally entered Iraq on the pretext of looking for nuclear weapons, only to annihilate half the population, it wasn't terrorism. When Israel encroached into Palestine and reduced several towns to rubble and dust, killing over 3000 civilians it wasn't terrorism. Recently 50 Muslims were shot and killed in a mosque in New Zealand by Brenton Tarrant, who streamed the shootings live on facebook. You probably didn't see that, because you guys are jaundiced when it comes to viewing the truth. There are many more cases. All I'm trying to let you know is most of these news houses from the West give a biased view on Islam and terrorism. In fact the perception of terrorism today is from the viewpoint of the CIA. If you take a look at terror groups in the world they are mostly populated by Muslim led organizations. It's a ruse though, and every Christian I have met agrees with these lies, all because there is a fanatical Islamic movement Boko Haram in the north. Again God will open your eyes inshaAllah. |
Politics › Re: Mark Esper Says U.S. Troops Are NOT Withdrawing From Iraq by BenzEne1(m): 6:41am On Jan 07, 2020 |
Ladycewhy: lets look at it this way, if any Muslim country was a world power like America ,how do you think countries like Nigeria will be like? No matter what America does they are million times better than any Muslim country. These Muslims will do worse unthinkable things if there were in the position America is today, little they have they are causing mayhem everywhere, sponsoring terrorists here and there.
Stop fooling people with this is not a Christian /Muslim thing, thats some smelling bullshit, few weeks ago Nigerian Muslim terrorists beheaded Christians as revenge for the death of someone in far away Iraq . like it or not this one way or the other has connection with religion. I am sorry, but all you know about terrorism is what the Western media has fed you. You see every Muslim as vile and violent. The US commits terror acts as much as these fanatical Islamic groups. But you see one as white and the other black. Na God go help una sha. InshaAllah |

madridsta007: Osama's Al Qaeda thrives on the Sunni Islamist theology which also fuel's Nigeria's Boko Haram, the 3rd (or is it 1st?) most violent Islamist terrorist group in the world. Sunni Islamist Wahhabism comes from Saudi Arabia. If anyone expresses worry when such people visit Nigeria, that worry is genuine. Mufti Menk is not a Wahabbist and he's from Zimbabwe. He's even against such fanatics who carry out terror acts. So stop wallowing in ignorance and hate. |

IGBOSON1: Maybe if ‘Afonja’ and ‘Fulani’ hadn’t expressed so much glee over the indictment, declared Onyema guilty as charged, created thread upon thread tacitly supporting the move of the US authorities, and abusing Ndigbo....then i don’t think ‘Ibos’ would have pointed the finger of suspicion at these two traditional haters of Igbos!
You know what they say: the winch cried at night and the following morning the baby was dead! So Nnamdi na baby last last. Edygrin: I'm not here to compare both religions. All I'm saying is that the Muslims in countries like the KSA & UAE are now focused developing their respective countries, dismantling archaic laws but the ones in Nigeria with sharia court, ruga and the rest Rugs is a policy proposed by the government to resolve the herdsmen and farmers conflict. It has nothing to do with Islam. And the Yoruba Muslim brothers who proposed sharia courts are not interested in developing the SW right? |

There's no hope for Nigeria I swear
Please are those in UAE & Saudi Arabia practicing a different kind of Islam because the Muslims we have in Nigeria are something else.. Who told you KSA & UAE aren't on the same page. They both have Sharia courts. The Muslims in Nigeria every time. The Christians in Nigeria nko ? See what is happening in UNN. Hypocrites. |

This people are always loyal to their hierarchies whether they are doing well or not. They are not like the igbos that criticized Jonathan's regime and even backed buhari to win even though they are not of the same tribe. If anything happens to buhari the igbos in the north will suffer first. God help us oo. The Igbos backed buhari to win? Do you guys just tell lies for the fun of it? Or does voting for Jonathan massively in 2011 & 2015 translate to supporting buhari? Go and tell your people to wear cloth and think of a way to improve their lives.
