But she didn't commit a crime according to our own laws and they had no right to touch a single hair on her skin.
It is clear from Islamic tradition that a Muslim should abide by the law of the land where they reside, so I'm not really sure they are my islamists.
Meanwhile there are lots of Illiterates in your religion too who like to pick on Muslims for fun, and when two illiterates get in a confrontation, someone usually loses his/her life.
Don't judge Islam by the acts of some Muslims, judge Muslims by the teachings of Islam.

I agree with most of what you said about justice being more important than just turning the other cheek. That doesn't bring peace but further slaps. And most who preach such version of peace don't themselves practice it.
I do have one point though on not destroying houses or killing women, children and maybe even trees etc. You realize this was said in the context of fighting with swords and against an enemy right ahead of you. Wars are fought with ballistics now and there's no way we can surgically manage the collateral damage. We should evolve the way we understand the religion according to the times we are in.
