@poster thanks for taking the time to share what you are going through. It's the very first step in finding the solution to the challenges you are having. I usually tell young couples with this kind of issues that once they go past the first two years of marriage then it will be difficult for them to think divorce. This is because the first two years are still the time to develop your friendship and not a time to rest. You both may have been in love but that is just the beginning. You have had different orientations and different responses to your environment as well growing up. You can't just expect everything to be perfect because you are now married. You must take the initiative as the man to build the kind of home that you desire. You both must find ways of continuosly developing your relationship. Attend marriage seminers, read good books on marriage, etc. Divorce is the easy way out, that's why marriage is for people who are physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially matured. As someone else stated, you are not doing your wife a favour by being married to her nor providing for her financially. The key to a happy and fulfilled marriage remains simple, love your wife and your wife should be obedient. The question however is which should come first? Well go ahead and love her, it is not a precondition for her to be obedient first. Show her real love and care and see if she doesn't submit. Goodluck! |
Cheap propaganda! gej has just thrown six years of a life time opportunity to the dogs. I live in Abuja but unfortunately the city has witnessed unprecedented neglect in the six years he's been there as president. He didn't start this rail project and he has failed to finish this less than 200km project in six years. People don't be deceived this rail track is not nearing completion anytime soon. I challenge the poster to give us a year of completion. Is it asking for too much just for this man to show one completed project? What a shame, really cheap propaganda for 2015. |
Hahahahaha! The President flew there in one of the most expensive jets money can buy, with the highest number of delegates, staying in the most expensive hotel and shopping at the most expensive districts. Truth is, none of that count on world stage. All of these together with all the expensive properties Nigerian politicians have acquired in south africa and around the world couldn't give Jonathan access to the cameras even for a sec. on world stage. Hahahaha! What a bunch of imbeciles! |
Resilient! |
He lived through so much pain smiling and died a smiling man. What greatness! RIP the great Madiba! |
Amazing stories. This one happened to me. I was leaving for work at about past 6am one morning with my wife when we saw a lady clutching to an electric pole and crying seriously. We stopped and sort to know what the problem was and noticed she was pregnant and in labour pains. We put her in the back seat of the vehicle and tried to reach the nearest hospital but she delivered a beautiful baby girl in the car before we could reach the hospital. We eventually got to the hospital and the Nurses came and removed the baby and she walked into the hospital by herself. It was a really scary experience with all the screams before the baby came. |
Emma, this is wishing you very quick recovery. The almighty God will heal you in Jesus Mighty name, Amen! |
Really impressive eclectic design style and amazing delivery too. I want to make over the exterior of my small three bed house where I currently live. unfortunately it's not in Lagos and my budget is quite small. Is it possible to send you the photos to play around with and revert back with Skimanski's touch and cost? Thanks and well done for upping the naija game. |
We must open up our Country and stop bickering about whether managers of our national assets are Nigerians or not, let's just go for the best not minding whether the best is from Cameroon or Chad. Where have the so called Nigerian managers of our commonwealth taken us since 1960. We must be humble enough to accept our limited capacity for managing complex systems and seek assistance where it exists to move forward. China has distinguished itself in technologically rising to the 2nd bigggest economy in the world. It ll take only a shallow minded person with very limited understanding to dismiss them with a wave of the hand like many find it to do in this forum. We need to learn from them whatever little we can. God bless Nigeria |

For all those talking about how old and rusty the weapons are, common sense should tell you that the campaign by these Lebanese to distabilize the country has been a longstanding one. They ve bn providing the ammunitions for the killing of innocent Christians all these years in Kano. No wonder their benefactors allocated them choice land in Abuja (Wonderland and Amigos) to open businesses as decoy for their real dealings as technical partners for the northern Jihadist cammpaign. I went with my Kids to Wonderland on the 27th of May and was really scared at the very lax security checks with the thick crowd present and the precarious security situation in Abuja. I had no idea that the owner didn't have to worry because he can't attack his own. Now I know better. |

A uniform can never make you what you are not no matter how cool. These guys failed, woefully. Shame shame shame! |
Just wondering why we can't build structures like you see in China and other parts of Asia! |
I kinda fell in love with this guy's intellect during his analysis of the AFCON matches. He deserves this appointment and I hope this will be his stepping stone to the presidency of CAF. Congratulations Sir and may God be with you. |
This story is either the same or worse everywhere you go. I was in Canada and was invited by the High Commissioner (not the current one)for a speech by the former US ambassador to Nigeria in one of the Canadian Universities. He asked me and one other to join him to the venue in his official car. We got there ahead of schedule but were kept outside on a bitterly cold winter morning. While waiting, there was this youngman who had driven all the way from Toronto to the High Commission in Ottawa just to go apply for his passport. He narrated his experience and I felt really sorry for him. The entire environment was an eye sore. The disposition of the staff to duty was shameful. He eventually sent for us after being reminded because he had forgotten he invited us and we were out in the cold for a while. It was not funny. High Commissioner without events diary. |
Your article is rather the one making strong efforts to mislead. I wonder how much you were paid by the north for this fairy tale. Hogwash! |
Happy Birthday Sir. May God grant you the fresh release of His unction to fulfil His call upon your life IJN Amen! |

@poster, try Engicost at Gudu a few blocks from the market. They have a Scottish and some Indians working with him who ll help fix this problem for you. There is another workshop off the new road that leads from Banex jnx to Gwarimpa, not sure the exact location as I haven't visited them since they left Utako. Some lebanese guys that work on late model autos. All the best. |
I am just wondering the amount of damage that this fellow has caused this nation with this level of falsehood teaching young formative minds. This lie has been so repeated often that he now believes it to be true. These guys are shameless as far as falsehood is concerned. From false population figures to blatant lies about common history. To think that this is a so called leader from the north deliberately leading his listeners on a path of falsehood knowing same to be false just amazes me. What a shameless lier! |
Oh my goodness, so we have a president in this country? My four year old daughter will find this most amazing! Where has he been and what has he been doing? |
Hello Femi, is that a hyundai accent? What is the mileage? Besides the bumper, any major fixes needed? Is it auto or manual and is the cooling system working? |
