Life is not cruel...but "beautiful" I must say.

Our emotions are genuinely blind, it falls for those who sees us as not too good for them, for one reason or the other; when actually compromise should have been the case.

In life, people's wants and needs varies...you are either what they want or what they don't...Unfortunately, path are crossed.

And most times we erroneously run when this "wrong one loves us right".
Shame!! Edo State Gov. On It Again Pic

Why can't our Dear (attention sick) governor just stay off the media for once? This is absolute display of sheer ignorance and worst still, his social Media Assistant comes online to publish these insulting pictures when he should be ashamed of the actions of his boss.

The child in this photo is supposed to be preparing for school, or be in school doing something more deserving and not hawking. The governor (with this show of shame) is endorsing child abuse and child labor, buying chips from a child who is hawking on the streets. Only in a society devoid of good governance this kind of child abuse is celebrated. Should we be jumping up celebrating it as good gesture or humanity? what do you expect? A governor who didn't pass through a primary school system will never know who should be in school and who should be hawking.
It seem some of us would go to any length to prove our stupidity; what's this got to do with his contribution to the development of education in Edo state.
Do you know this day could had even be one of school off days?
Any way, I'm sure you're one of those blind folded by sentiments.
Go wash your brain at the beach, ode!
Romance7 Simple Things Men Want In Women by beordune(op): 5:27am On Jan 09, 2014
I stumble on this write up and I think it will be fair to let our ladies know this:

I like to think Life isn’t complicated; PEOPLE are. That’s why relationships can easily become strained when trivial issues arise; take for instance, leaving the toilet seat up (Ladies, which would you prefer – He raises up the seat to pee and forgets to put it down afterwards OR he leaves the seat down and gives it a yellow poker-dot makeover? I thought so). Don’t get me wrong – I know women we men can be difficult too but there are 7 simple things we expect from an ideal woman and could eventually even get us popping the question:

1. To Listen: Women love the sound of their voices so it’s quite easy to understand why men would rather let them win an argument. But what some women don’t realize is that they just might be wrong sometimes. Perhaps if they listened to a few facts from the man instead of jumping to conclusions, or in other situations, taking some advice from him based on his personal experiences then he would appreciate you a whole lot more.

2. To be Considerate: This could be on so many levels. Women shouldn’t expect a man to still take her to fancy restaurant if he just lost his job, or expect him not to cancel a pre planned engagement because he suddenly has to take his mum to the hospital. Life is not always about me, me, me; once he sees you understand that then he wouldn’t just walk a mile for you – he’d swim the Seven Seas!

3. Be ‘Openly honest’ – It’s one thing to be open (e.g. telling him stuff he never asked you about) and another thing being honest (e.g. telling him stuff only when he decides to ask you). Why not be a combination of both and be openly honest? It’s a good way to be build trust, especially if the man is the slightly jealous type in the first place. But you don’t have to bear ALL your skeletons – you just might scare him away for good.

4. Be Hands-on – A woman who can do some things herself without the presence of her man is a bit of a turn-on. This is borderline ‘Independent woman’ but not in the context of spending money on oneself. Little things like mowing the lawn when he’s not home or arranging for a handyman to come round to your place to fix an appliance. By the time you both have kids you’d be a pro worthy of his admiration.

5. Be Submissive: not like sheep and don’t jump to thinking I’m referring to indoor late-night activities. I’m referring to more of a combination of being dutiful, obedient and humble. Of course in a loving relationship it’s sort of two-way and not really the Master-Slave relationship which I feel some of you readers may be imagining. As you can see, men don’t like it either.

6. Be Affectionate: Saying it with words is always good but I, like a lot of men, like when women say it with their actions. It’s the subtle things like stroking the back of his head, holding his hand in public, cuddling on the sofa or at the movies , feet to feet rubs, massages, pecks, kisses, etc. The only man-seeking woman whom I feel is justified (in the early stages of being in a relationship) is one who is in a long-distance relationship – not my cup of hot cocoa at all.

7. Be Respectful: By far the most important to me and that’s because we men have a big E inside of us that demands that we be shown some R-E-S-P-E-C-T be it from a man or woman. Show a ‘brutha’ a little respect and you’ll get his. Show him a lot and if everything else falls into place I think he might just be introducing you to mama and papa.

Men don’t get off easy though. Everything I’ve mentioned goes two-ways so no woman should expect to exhibit all these qualities while the man puts his feet up watching the Premiership League. It takes two to tango, remember?

FamilyAre We Suppose To Worship Our Landlords Or Their Family? by beordune(op): 8:22am On Jan 08, 2014
I stay in a compound of five flats, my landlord occupy the second floor, and I share the first floor with his mother, while two other tenants share the ground floor.
On Sunday while trying to bring out my landlord's visitor car from my compound, cos he packed behind me..cos I knew it would be difficult for me to move out the next day cos am an early riser, so to avoid the early morning disturbance I called them to come move their car so that I can packed behind them, only for me to be told the owner can't come out again for the day, so I had to move the car my self since nobody could volunteer driving it.

So while moving the car on a reverse, though slowly, I observed the brake wasn't good, thank God for a big stone in front of the other neighbor's house that stopped the back tire. I came out of the car and asked if I had injured anyone and I was told "NO".
After re-parking the two cars back into the car park I decided to apologies to some old women who had already gathered around the scene, and there they told me two of their kids were almost hurt, contrary to what I was told earlier, so I pay their mothers a courtesy visit.
From what I notice, all the noise of been hurt were exaggerations, I dint even do as if i know that; I just continued with my apologies.

My worries began when I got home last night and my younger brother told me that my landlord's mother who was staying in the flat behind mine asked after that I see her.
And when I finally did that night, she talked about the issue with the neighbors, she was complaining bitterly that something of such happened and I disrespected her by not telling her, she talked to the extent that henceforth she's going to tell me to start parking my car outside (eventhough we have a car park), the worst happened when her last son who should be in his twenties stood up to interrupt our discussion, and said I was talking rubbish when I said I dint take what happened as something that is that serious, cos to me, it had been settled when the stuff happened.

Now my question:
Does been a tenant mean one will be paying homage or worshiping his/her landlord or family?

PoliticsMassive Corruption Under President Jonathan : Uk-based Nigerian Challenges Okonj by beordune(op): 9:08am On Jan 06, 2014
Dotun Oloko, a Nigerian based in the United Kingdom, has sent an open letter to Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Minister of Finance, urging her, in the wake of the dispute between former and current Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, to make public certain information she previously expressed privately and indicated she would go public with.
In the letter, “Before It Is Too Late,” dated January 4, Mr. Oloko said, “As you are undoubtedly aware former President Olusegun Obasanjo has levelled some grievous allegations against our current President Goodluck Jonathan. You have answered the call of duty and served under President Obasanjo. You answered the call of duty again and are currently serving as the Finance Minister to President Jonathan.”
Mr. Oloko recalled that it was on account of Okonjo-Iweala’s current position that he wrote to her in conjunction with some international non-governmental organisations on the matter of the sale of the OPL 245 oil concession.
“You subsequently forwarded our letter to the Attorney-General and it is a matter of record that in responding to our letter, the Attorney-General on 20th May 2013 falsely stated that, ‘the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria had instituted a probe into the transaction and at the end, they were satisfied that there was no infraction of the Constitution or any other Nigerian law.’”
Recalling the exchange of correspondence between himself and the Minister “on a matter related to our beloved country,” Oloko noted that was because of Okonjo-Iweala’s international reputation and position as Finance Minister.
“I am now writing this open letter to you because of a related matter concerning our dear country,” he told the Minister.  “In the course of our exchange of correspondence you expressed some views and opinions which I believe you should now make public in the wake of the dispute between Obasanjo and Jonathan. I must therefore call on you to do your duty to God and our country and act on those views and opinions, before it is too late.”

shoerack6: Hello house,

Whenever I have disagreement with hubby, he'll decide not to talk to me. He won't eat my food and also will not sleep on the same bed with me. I'll have to beg and beg before he finally decides to talk to me.
I'm so sick and tired of his attitude. I tried discussing with him that we should look for a better way to resolve issues but he said he doesn't want to discuss anything with me.
We are presently not talking and have promised myself that this year, no more begging and begging. Have apologised to him like thrice since yesterday, i've sent him messages apologising even though I know that i've done nothing wrong.
Now i'm always in my room because even when I go to where he is, he'll stand up and leave d place.
This is killing me inside. Don't know what to do.
Pls mature advice only.
Mod pls I don't want this thread on front page.
This is a complete me..
To be sincere with you, there's something you're doing wrong, cos he's actually angry about something and its hurting him real bad..
Thank your God he's not leaving you to go run after other ladies, he just stay at home and be brood on what went wrong.

You're a good woman, and you should prove that by softening his hardened heart, with patience you can make an angry man smile.
Don't do something silly, cos not begging him wouldn't open his eyes to see he's wrong even if is.

Christianity EtcRe: Question: Did God Fulfil His Covenant With King Ahaz? (Virgin Birth) by beordune(m): 7:01am On Dec 22, 2013
harbiola1: Isaiah 7:1-16 are the verses of the book of Isaiah in which Prophet Isaiah, addressing King Ahaz of Judah, promising the King Ahaz that God will destroy his enemies; as a sign that his Prophecy is a true one, Isaiah predicts that a Almah will shortly give birth to a child whose name will be Immanuel "God with us".
And that the threat from the enemy Kings will be ended before the child grows up.

HISTORICAL CONTEXT.
In the mid-8th Century BCE, the kingdom of Isreal (called Ephraim in Isaiah) and its ally Aram-damascus (or Syria) besieged Jerusalem to force King Ahaz of Judah into joining a coalition against Assyria, the aggresive "great power" to the North-East. Ahaz turned to Assyria itself for help, but although the Assyrians destroyed Syria and Ephraim, Judah became Assyrian vassal.

The history Isaiah was a Prophet in jerusalem during the reign of Ahaz and Hezekiah. The prophecy in these verses was delivered during the Joint Ephraimite-Syrian siege, but was probably written down during the Assyrian siege in the time of Ahaz and then revised again when Judah came into conflict with Babylon.

Isaiah 7:1-10.
Judah is faced with invasion by its Northern neighbours, Isreal (also called Ephraim) and Aram-Damascus(Syria).

But God instructs the Prophet Isaiah to tell King Ahaz that God will destroy Judah's enemy (Isaiah 7:1-10);

When Ahaz was king of Judah, Rezin, king of Syria and Pekah was king of Isreal, marched on Jerusalem, they were unable to prevail against it.
When the House of David was told that Syria had allied itself with Ephraim, their hearts and the hearts of their people trembled.
But the Lord said to Isaiah,
"God out to meet Ahaz, you and Shearjushub your Son. and say to him,
"Be firm and keep calm; The lord has said,
"It will not happen".

The Prophecy - Isaiah 7:11-16:

Prophet Isaiah approach king Ahaz to deliver God's message.

Isaiah delivers God's message to Ahaz and tells him to ask for a sign to confirm that this is a true Prophecy.

Ahaz refuses saying he will not test God.

Isaiah replied that Ahaz will have a sign whether he asks for it or not.

And Isaiah said the SIGN will be the birth of a child by a VIRGIN, and she shall call his name IMMANUEL "God is with Us".
First Sign would be the birth of a child by a Virgin whom will name her child Immanuel.

Second sign was that the child would be eating Curds and Honey till he is matured.

By the time the Infant (i.e Immanuel) learns to reject the bad and choose the good (i.e Before the child reach puberty). Isreal and Syria the opponent of King Ahaz will be destroyed.

QUESTION: DID GOD FULFIL HIS COVENANT WITH KING AHAZ? (I.E A VIRGIN BORNE A CHILD)
The fact that you don't know or belief in something doesn't mean that thing dint happen or exist.
Anyway, mind the way you use the word "Holy spirit"..#Justsaying..for your own good!

Now, Within my 20+ yrs of existence on earth, i've come across almost all d types of women u made mention of. One particular girl by name Esther, not as if her parents were too poor but this girl hardly spoke 10 words with me without mentioning 'money'. When i asked why she's so prioritized on money, she said because am her bf therefore obligated to carry-out her financial burdens. My dear, i had to run o.

I had another whom if she mistakenly tries to call me and i pick it then some naira deducted from her account, when i eventually call back, she'll say i had picked her and her phone is left with no N1 in it again, therefore, i shld send her back her recharge card.
