chukwugoziegi:I was impressed as well. Didn't even know about such a tweet and the problem it caused. I need to be active on Twitter. I dey fůck up. |
Omakraid:True. I even forgot. Thanks for reminding me. Will watch it later on. Thank you once again. |
Couldn't watch last night's episode because of the birthday party I attended, still not going to watch the replay today by 11am because of work. Inside life!! |
nadesh:Not RIGHT BESIDE, that place is INSIDE IMSU. The building behind her is the Catholic church situated inside IMSU. |
NaijaMemes:My point as well. It's also hypocritical to ban people discussing a topic in movie/show when such has been allowed in the past here. |
alexistaiwo:I see some general discussions as an avenue to learn one or two things. Having never been outside Nigeria, I learned a lot on cops brutality on a SPORTS THREAD, not an international politics thread. I learned that Derek Chauvin who killed George Floyd had been reported SEVERALLY in the past about cop brutality on others. He had pending cases of crime on him but his bosses allowed him to continue being a cop and he ended up killing Floyd when he'd have been suspended or banned temporarily till the case was resolved. This is how one gains knowledge. When war or army related movies are discussed here, you bring in your knowledge about army/wars which proves quite insightful. Most times, you and your co-debater move away from the movie in question and start talking about wars in general, but still there were one or two knowledge one can gain about history from the discussion. Flexibility is key to sustaining a thread. It mustn't be 100% thread related. |
NaijaMemes:Bro, this is kinda complicated issue because I don't see you winning this case. I've been on NL long enough to know reports against mods more often than not, leads to nowhere. The one or two times I've been wrongly banned by the mods, I complained to a super mod with evidence and it yielded nothing. I can't even remember what happened anymore, but what I know is that the super mod didn't unban me despite all the evidence I presented. I'm not saying the mod wiping out these posts is wrong or right, just saying I don't see your protest changing anything. The recent BLM posts which I believed got hidden (I'm not really sure coz I came online to meet hidden posts everywhere and few quoted posts on BLM to indicate the posts hidden might be related to BLM discussions) didn't spring out of the blue, it originated from a Dave Chapelle Netflix special which is a show and therefore falls within the ambit of this thread. When Chappelle's Sticks N Stones debuted sometime in the past, I remember us discussing on it, gaining and sharing knowledge. What now changed? Why were we allowed to discuss topics of jokes in Chappelle's shows in the past on here but suddenly not allowed to discuss BLM topics raised in his recent show? What changed? Doesn't it fall under the jurisdiction of this thread? I personally see no reason why those interested in the topic shouldn't discuss it. In the past, I've seen topics that are not related to movies being discussed here, some I found interesting, some I didn't. I believe in the flexibility of a thread. One of the reasons this thread was so much fun was our ability to talk about other issues and get help without the reports to the mods. If we'd stuck STRICTLY to topic of this thread, it'd have been an abandoned land a long time. A knowledge or two can be gained in general discussions. I don't see how BLM talks would have stopped anyone discussing a movie. Before now, I can't even remember us debating on BLM issues before on this thread. It's recent happening that shone light on it. I visit the Sports section threads regularly and they discuss just about anything on those threads; both politics, health, religious issues, etc., and one can gain a lot of knowledge from the topics. The varying range of topics discussed there without the policing of the mods (except when insults are involved or things gets nasty) makes there so much fun. This thread used to be like that, but nowadays, any small thing, posts are reported and what follows is a total wiping of posts deemed not movie/show related. This is not an attack on Ishilove, and her detractors shouldn't use this paragraph to attack her PLEASE, but I find it unsettling that she had discussed off topic issues in the time past here before and her posts weren't reported, but she confirmed that she reports posts. I remember bringing her computer problem here with Koïce and others helping her out on how best to go about it, even Örnicus decided to help her offline with it if she could bring the computer to him. Those posts weren't reported. We helped her out with one or two advice. I've also seen her discuss topics here not related to movies uncountable times and her posts weren't reported, so why report other people's posts when they are not insulting you? I can understand if it's insulting posts being reported (she has returned back her own fair share of insults in the pasts as well), but when a topic doesn't intrest you, you don't have to report it. It's only a matter of time before topics that does intrest you would be raised. I'm not a comic person and usually don't discuss or partake in comics topics, but I don't report it. I wait till a topic that interests me springs up and I learn or engage in it. The policing of this thread in recent times is too much. Let's allow for some flexibility. Knowlege is limitless, we all learn everyday. |
Bangasuup:I never took the noisemaker serious, I just wanted to expose him/her as the conspiracy theorist he/she is. |
AceNavy, so what are the revelations about BBN and Ebuka shutting Tacha up that you promised me that if I watch Tacha's interview I'd see? Where's the big reveal you were harping on? What and what did Tacha reveal about BBN organizers and Ebuka silencing her? What did Tacha expose about the conspiracies going in BBN against her? If you missed it, the interview is still on Youtube, go watch it, come back and help me with all the revelations you were making noise about. You promised me that Tacha will spill it all, so far, nothing has been spilled. So, help me out with the revelations, I'm waiting. |
AceNavy:K. |
AceNavy:I don't understand what you're on about, honestly. You have this penchant of saying things that doesn't involve me. Be more direct with your English so I can know what or how to reply you. |
AceNavy:No matter what Tacha says today, it will not change the fact that nobody pointed a gun to her head and told her to withold what she wanted to say. But I pray I get to watch the interview and hear what she has to say. Bye Theresa. |
Bangasuup:I mean no disrespect, but the person behind that moniker is incoherent. His/her posts does my head in most of the time. I'm struggling to understand his/her post most of the time. Acenavy, once again, I mean no harm but your posts are not coherent enough. |
AceNavy:Bro/sis, I think you're confused and I mean no offence. I don't even understand what you're talking about anymore. When did I ever say Tacha must reply every question thrown at her or that particular question? Was this issue even about Tacha refusing to comment? I have no issue whatsoever with people choosing to answer a question or not, my issue which seem to be flying over your head is your fellow Titan blaming Ebuka for interuppting Tacha and refusing her to speak her mind when she chose not speak her mind and which she's well within her right not to do so. My issue is blaming everybody apart from Tacha, for every perceived slight on Tacha. Tacha refuses to comment and y'all are attacking Ebuka who did nothing wrong. My problem is hating on someone (Ebuka) for no sensible reason. And Ebuka saying "so you agree that you disrespected her" is not an attack on Tacha. This is the problem with some Titans, they see everything about Ebuka from a skewed POV. Mercy said Tacha and Ike disrespected her with their friendship, Ike defended himself, Ebuka then asked Tacha about her opinion and Tacha refused to comment, so Ebuka is trying to ASK Tacha a question that since she didnt defend the accusations, does she mean she agrees with Mercy that she and Ike disrespected Mercy. The question was not an attack on Tacha. Ask around, when an accusation is thrown at a person, most times when the person refuses to refute it, it's usually accepted that the person is guilty and hence no evidence to prove his innocence. As for the other paragraphs of yours, I'm having a hard time trying to understand it. You're just all over the place without really hitting the nail on the head. When you put your point across in a concise manner that I'd understand, I'll address it. |
AceNavy:Okay. One of these days, I'll take my time to go through their official tweets and see for myself. But I really don't see the biggie about the shades from the handle. I laughed during the Frodd's saga, maybe it's just who I am, I don't take everything too serious. |
AceNavy:Which simplify? Mercy said her mind about Ike and Tacha's friendship, Ike said his mind and clarified his stance, Ebuka having spoken to Mercy and Ike decuded to speak to Tacha who was the final party in the trio. Tacha said no comment. No interruption from Ebuka. No breaks whatsoever. No shutting up whatsoever. Ebuka then rephrased the question, sort of broke it down so Tacha could comment, but still she refused to and Ebuka moved on. No interruptions. No breaks. No threats. So, I don't understand what you just wrote up there. Are we watching the same reunion or is yours Titans version? Kim is majorly the HM that rudely interrupts Tacha and even after that, Tacha still gets to speak her mind and if she decides to hide her emotions, it's her fault. During the "who gossiped" question, Tacha and Venita went back and forth and Tacha never backed down on what she stood for. So, I don't see your points exactly. She doesn't Really Have To call them out ..She's probably would do it the best way she can n that's that...Cool. Let her do it whenever she wants or how she wants, but let's state it clearly that her choosing to keep things to herself is her CHOICE and NOBODY stopped her from speaking her mind like the victim-playing Titan is wailing about. Yes..I would criticize them..@enboldened, I don't know if you followed this thread during the show, if you did you'd have known my opinion on the disqualification. If you don't, go and dig up my post on that day. |
AceNavy:Really? Can you help me with how many times Tacha has been shaded. I'm not a Twitter person like I've said so many times on here, so please help me out let me see the shades. |
AceNavy:What Ebuka did was what interviewers normally do. There was no sinister motive behind it. Tacha said no comment (again, Ebuka didn't tell her not to comment, she chose not to comment), Ebuka tried to rephrase the question so that Tacha WOULD SPEAK HER MIND, Tacha insisted that it was the same question and therefore she will go with her no comment. After that episode, you guys cruised with the No Comment speech. Hailing Tacha and saying her no comment speech had more highlights than the HMs. No Comment was ever trending. Titans spoke of how mature Tacha acted and hailed her for her new maturity. But all of a sudden, Ebuka has been blamed for refusing Tacha to speak. WTF?!! What exactly did Ebuka do wrong? In short, Ebuka was trying to simplify the question in order for Tacha to say her own side of the story. Tacha CHOSE to not comment about it. How on God's green earth is that any body's fault. Please, explain it to me. I'm not saying it's not possible that they edited out her words, but I need proofs. Let Tacha come out and say it so I can criticize the BBN organizers. So far, Tacha hasn't come out to confirm it like she did with the facial expression accusations, so till then, I can't criticize BBN organizers. |
During the episode where Esther, Mercy and Diane made up after ironing out their issues, Frodd was the butt of all jokes on Twitter. Some encouraged him, msny mocked him. The DStv handler was using Frodd to catch cruise back to back to back. Everybody was laughing and cruising. It was seen as a cruise, nothing more. But after the Seyi and Tacha episode where Seyi refused to apologize to Tacha and said some words to her, the DStv handler cruised with Tacha (not even as bad as he did with Frodd), lo and behold, some Titans began attacking the handler and playing victim. It was just preposterous. Like, calm the fûck down. Life's not that hard. The handler shades HMs at random. Stop taking it so serious. Jeez!! |
eph12:I hope they don't rest anybody against Chelshit, I really hope. |
Leyqute:This top 4 battle will go down to the wire, and any single match can swing the favour to our opponents in the race |
Sweetpink:It's been close to 9 months after the show and yet you lot are still blaming Ebuka. How did Ebuka silence Tacha? Is Ebuka the owner of BBN? Did Ebuka tell Tacha to shut up whenever she wanted to speak? What exactly has Ebuka done wrong? BBN even gave a SPECIAL episode to Tacha and Mercy to speak their minds (something they didn't afford to other HMs), if Tacha couldn't speak her mind for reasons best known to her, how is it Ebuka's fault? In that episode, both Tacha and Mercy spoke their minds and Ebuka sat back and let them try to iron out their issues in a civil manner. Yet, you're blaming an innocent man. You're just hating on a man for no reason. Even Tacha won't say Ebuka shut her up from speaking. Then your other points are just comical. Bringing which traffic? Bringing traffic to a platform that launches careers of anyone that participates on it? Bringing traffic to a platform that she had to inconvenience herself to attend the interviews in different states just to enter the house. Bringing traffic to the number one traffic generator in Nigeria? Bring traffic to BBN where hundreds of thousands troop to their audition venues to audition for the show? Are you kidding me? BBN has done a lot for the careers of EVERY HM that participated in it. Every single one of them, none is exempted. When Tacha's facial expressions were edited out save for two times, I condemned it, but stop stretching the agenda. Tacha has not come out since then to say her words were removed. Tacha has been civil and calm all through the reunion so I don't see why her speeches would be removed when she wasn't cussing. Slow down on the victim playing, nobody stopped Tacha from speaking her mind. |
Leyqute:Chelshit will play Liverpool after they've won the league and won't field a strong line-up, therefore I don't hope on Liverpool winning them at all. |
newguy1:Draft Day was his first movie I watched as well. |
Sweetpink:LOL. OK. |
Kimbrielle:Well, Seyi didn't deny calling her that when Tacha pointed it out and everyone knows he did call her that. |
Kimbrielle:There was more but Ebuka didn't show all that happened na. The replay showed few seconds of their insults. If Biggie shows everything, the episode won't end by 30 minutes. |
Sweetpink:The first post in the screenshot you posted was wrong. Tacha said Diane punched her. Meanwhile from afar and like Diane correctly pointed out, her fist was not clenched so there's no how she'd have punched Tacha. Diane could have only "poked" Tacha in the eyes but the video is not close enough for anyone to really prove it. Even Ebuka couldn't prove it, he had to ask Diane if she'd have poked Tacha in the eyes while warning and pointing at her. The best way to end the argument is nearer video which could show Diane's fingers poking her eyes. For now, Diane can really get away with if she indeed poked her coz that video showed nothing we haven't seen before. |
Vyolet:100% Even if Tacha has to apologize to him, he'd have apologized first. No need for all the shalaye when he couldn't really address the issue. |
Kimbrielle:Haba!! They showed Seyi's insult as well but it was censored because of the "shît" or F word he used. |
chukwugoziegi:It took all my strength not to mute the TV. |
