The claim that Adeola previously used Sulaiman/Sulaimon Ogunleye was already circulating publicly in 2017, almost a decade before the current 2026 controversy.

A November 2017 report explicitly stated that Adeola's birth name was Sulaiman Ogunleye, that he used that name while working at The Guardian, and that he subsequently changed it to Solomon Olamilekan Adeola. The report says the change was published in two national newspapers.


That's significant because it means the allegation predates the current Ogun governorship controversy by years.

Why on earth would anyone change his name?
Sometimes, I change a few things in my CV too when job-searching but name, dob, schools qualifications never change. Only the experience and work places is where I tend to lie a bit
And even the lie is just to hide irrelevant ones and portray the needed ones more, according to the position in question.

I think he is okay but he is Tinubu's boy and people need to watch him carefully. We all know what Tinubu's legacy is all about.

We have had a PhD holder as VP and President of this country. He failed.
We have a Professor as Governor. He is a colossal failure.

Who else do we need to try...?

I am beginning to have expectations of this Obi. Which is what I don't want to do because I want to avoid disappointment this time around.

In a Nigeria where, Government properties are still being seized from Ex-Governors and other officials and then Obi left money in billions in the Government account for the next administration after him.

Has Tinubu been interviewed by anyone before? Tinubu that can't sit alone to answer questions without appointment people to respond to the questions or he gives blind and unrelated answers.

I was really expecting this after the UK sanctioned Israel on was it Friday or Thursday last last week. I was expecting a retaliation from both Israel (Israel's closure of UK Consulate in East Jerusalem) and the US (which will be this breakup) and also as a consequence for the UK not supporting the US in the Iran fight.

So Nigeria "gave a list of 100 Nigerians killed in South Africa to the South African envoy" and there is no war, economic sanctions or any confrontations yet?
That's why they still killed 2 yesterday and will still continue to kill more Nigerians in South Africa.
They have long seen that the Nigerian Government and Nigeria as a whole places no importance or value on the lifes of Nigerians within and outside the country.
They are just keeping crazy records.

I know Obi will obviously be better than the current Tinubu. I feel Tinubu is just there for the money. He is there to loot at all cost from Nigerians (subsidies, taxes, levies, duties etc).

Tinubu is out of it completely. I voted for him in 2023 but I will mobilise to vote against him in 2027, this I promise myself and I have started working on.
Atiku and Obi don't really convince me. Atiku has a lot religious and corruption baggage but Obi too has non-performance indictments as an Ex-Governor for 8years. For 8years, he didn't build a single school, "he said he cut grasses at one university campus". Is this the person I want to vote for?
Indeed Nigeria is in dilemma! Big problems still await us ahead.

I believe Iran has now opened the eyes of many countries of the world to modern day war technology. That you can attack and destroy places in another country without moving out of your country. Even the almighty US will have to fly fighter jets to achieve this but the Iran does this with ease.
I actually underestimated Iran but I am marveled. They have been very impressive in their resistance against the US.
