Health / Re: PCOS: Should I Tell My Parents About It? by Berankis: 4:44pm On Jun 20
Geniemoi01:

Let your parents know. Don't hide it from them. If you ever told her that one of your testicles got removed, but you still ejaculated, should she still remain with you? Ask yourself that question. She'll definitely have fertility issues. Don't let feelings blind you.
She may not have any fertility issues. After all women with the 2ovaries in place may still experience fertility issues.
Telling his parents does not make any difference. They should simply understand each other, stick together and work together. Everything will be fine!

Leave Hausa out of your mouth and be proud of your 5 plots region.

Criticizing my tribe doesn't mean I am not proud of it. I just want it to be better. I will still be a Yoruba man in my next life if given the chance.

Make we hear word, there are so many children without fathers that still made it in life. There is no excuse in struggling as a man, the worst thing that can happen to a man is to put your trust in another man's wealth or depend on another man to survive.
It's a different case here entirely. Where you know the worth of your father and everywhere you go people look at you with so much expectations of being rich whereas nothing really dey your hand. It's all being mismanaged by one unaccountable elder brother.

Did you know that if Oluyinka Olutoye was an American, he would garner about as much recognition as Ben Carson?

I'm so proud to be a Yoruba, I swear. Class, elegance, growth, success, grit, social, vibes, hospitality, and strength are what our story represents. Big ups to you, if you're a Yoruba. You're the only of your kind. Keep marching.

Some of the most successful Africans alive have our blood and roots; Adenuga, Soyinka, Awolowo, Ogunlesi, Fela, Sade Adu, Anthony Joshua, Isreal Adesanya, Akintola Williams, F. R. A Williams, Funke Akindele, Folorunsho Alakija, K.S.A, Ayinde Barrister, Wizkid... just inexhaustible list.

Let me not mention football, 2023 UCL semi final had Yorubas on 3 starters of the 4 teams; Alaba, Akanji, and Fikayo; 2024 final has Adeyemi,... Musiala, Saka, and so on. Other sports nko? Adesanya Isreal, A. Joshua, and that fastest girl alive say hi.

Did you know it's impossible to write/tell the history of Africa without recognizing our important role in about EVERY of its facet, from Oyo empire, to slavery, to richest woman in Africa, to one of richest cities in Africa, to the first subsaharan to receive a Noble prize, to a vanguard role in tech (Olugbenga Agboola and Tope Awotona)—it's an endless list.

Thing is I'm surprised how some Yoruba allow some things other people say get to them, unrealizing they're and have always had potentials to be bigger.

UI, Yabatech, OAU, first subsaharan Nobel Prize owner—chai, this education thing, leave am gve us(the cradle of west African education)—first stadium in Africa, first African TV station, first Nigerian club to win international competition, first professor in Nigeria, first teaching hospital in Nigeria, >½ of all Nigerian professors made in Yoruba land, tallest Nigerian building; inexhaustible list of Yorubas achievement.

Look, if you're a Yoruba, and you haven't thought about and walked the path of making yourself, your immediate environment better, then you're wrong! I make bold to say that.

Forget your environment or natural disposition, you could be anything with and make a thing off it—see Portable (3 years ago, he was absolutely a guy you might call urchin, today he's everywhere and progressing with his demeanor), see Tems (as cool as a dove, yet making money and impact off her talent regardless). Do something for yourself, you're a Yoruba, have you forgotten the line of blood your forefathers stem from? Greatness is in you. Countless of your Yoruba likes are found in US and UK government. Wake up, do something.

That you're a female isn't an excuse, we're arguably the tribe with most successful women in Africa, from Azizat Oshoala, Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, Tems, Tiwa Savage, F. Alakija, to many of female bank CEOs of Yoruba origins, and so on. Nothing is limiting you, you're a Yoruba! No dey dull, legally! No slumber! It's like we need PR to remind our peeps how great we're and how it's only our starting point we are.

Damn, I just wanna make so much dough, be influential, marry a classy, beautiful, and educated Yoruba babe, attend these kind functions with her, and give this man a run for his swag(in my old age), as Omoluabi wey I be. grin cheesy
Yoruba wey no dey help each other, it's even as bad as within the family. Everything na show off, arrogance, competition. See Igbos and Hausas spread wealth within themselves but Yoruba own na envy and competition. "Na me better pass". I be Yoruba, so I know wetin I dey talk.

Charly Boy lacks wisdom. Amaechi has never been a power-drunk politician. As governor he drove himself and sometimes went to the market with bike. Most times he walked around with no security. That said, he was one of the best ministers of the PMB administration kiss
This is what I knew of Amaechi. Is Charly boy really a sensible person, his post doesn't reflect it anyway.

God gave Nigeria human and material resources to feed and cater for Africa and beyond, but our people decided to mismanage it.

So, I am often shocked when I see people praying for Nigeria in churches. I will be like: "What else do you want from God that He hasn't given you?"

Praying for Nigeria is a complete waste of useful time. God answers the prayers of people who make genuine efforts to prosper their land, not those who gather to deliberately ruin their lands and hide under the guise of religion.
God bless you. Even God will be shaking Head in heaven looking down at Nigerians with disappointment.

This is heartbreaking revelation, I blame African leaders for everything, for making our people wandering all over the world, a continent that is blessed with so much mineral resources but corruption has brought us to this sorry state, I see a lot desperation in our people to travel out everyday because of the unpleasant situation at home

Such inhumane treatment, Greek authorities are wicked
African Leaders are really to take the blame, but are they different from the African followers? We Africans are all the same. Myopic, selfish, greedy, stupid, insensitive, retrogressive, and hide under religion to portray a pretentious facade. We are not civilized yet, the reason why Nigeria in particular still struggles. We all need a re-orientation!

It's now too obvious that I overrated this Tinubu of a man. He is not really the genius I thought he was. He is a counterfeit! After wasting billions on his Deputy, wife, himself and the Senate, now he is looking for self sacrificing citizens.

If you read the write up very well, you will notice the acceptance of the Police Force as a criminal syndicate by themselves. They stated in the write that the Harrison guy "will set up/frame you, snap it"... What is he framing/setting them up for? What has he ever snapped them for?
They Police Officers know they are full of unprofessional conducts and criminalities hence, terming an activist "green snake under the green grass".
If they conducted themselves professionally, they need not worry about any activist.

I feel even more provoked by this act. How can criminals invade a Church to kidnap Priests/Pastors? What kind of effrontery is this? This is a terrible slap on Christians and I feel it's high time Christians took the safety of their leaders more seriously and not just leaving everything to prayers.
Lots of Priests and Pastors had been kidnapped in the past, only a few returned alive, for how long will this continue?

While his region languishes in poverty.

I still don't understand with all the wealth and political influence this people have while their kids are so poor, starving and hungry.

I stay in Kubwa Abuja

Anytime I drive out of the estate these kids are always there in their numbers with rubber plates begging for food... it's an eyesore

Not just in Abuja even when I was in Lagos same Sh!t

What a useless bunch of region dragging the country behind.

Why can't dangote start a state of emergency for Education in the North.

Arrest any Northern parent who sends their children out to Beg instead of being in school.

These guys are the true heap of load dragging the country behind.

The south even with their own problems are more progressive and seek better standard of living.

I wake up and shed tears each time I remember these guys are just dragging everyone behind.

As in in the North like 3 people are will trillions of Naira in their bank account why the rest are in abject unexplainable poverty.

Nonsense
It is because of their so-called "onenness". They follow their political, religious leaders like a herd of sheep, with no questions asked. It will continue like this for a long time... Only they are really becoming a menace everywhere, instead of holding their leaders to account, they would rather travel to other states to start criminality. Some of them will be stealing all metal, aluminum installations on our roads, other are begging up and down for alms, some other ones are just armed robbers while a few still engage in legitimate hussle anyway.
