Pups booked so far will be going to Ibadan, Lagos and Abuja here. Some more inspections to be done today by prospective new owners.

They also are now able to poo and pee on their own. Move away a bit. Do their thing and avoid it.

They have taken to the Booster feed, soaked and mashed up. Then they are bottle fed with 0..6 months baby formular and left to suckle on dam's milk. This is done 5 times a day.

So the pups turn 4 weeks old and they have the second deworming later today.

We've been in touch. He's impressed me more by showing me preparations to receive the pup. I believe the pup should be on its way in a couple of days. I'm glad I gave.

So introduced semi solid to the pups. Decided to get booster instead. Soaked in simmered water for 15 minutes and mashed into paste. The pups sniffed and started licking from the edge of their plate and went for the feed in the bowl. They were nibbling away and I think they love it. Will still do the SMA milk and dams milk too as the dam begins weaning from her milk.

All pups doing great at three and half weeks old. Playful, full of life. Yapping away at each other. Aware of each other now. Growing in leaps and bounds.

SMA (0...6months), dam's milk. Tomorrow I soak Diamond large breed puppy feed in boiled water for 10 minutes, mash and place for them to start nibbing at it slightly. This will go on till they are weaned in the next 2...3 weeks and they stabilize on Diamond large breed puppy feed.

am glad you enjoyed it and yes am in delta going to see my friend will not be the case always and ehn I know foreign breeds are not like our local breed and require more health care but I wouldn't for any reason refuse to take my dog(local or foreign) to a vet if need be as there are some functions I know only a vet can carry out so am not against taking a dog to a vet and maintain a forever diary will not be a problem and pls keep yur thinking cap on thanks although I would have preferred the GSD pup but I don't think am in a position to choose so anyone one would do. thanks

It's said, ask and you shall receive. So I have this GSD / Rot mix. He's a lovely dog but I love your desire and zeal. You can have him at your earliest convenience. I feel a tug in my heart as I let go of this dog. Infact I'll have queries from my household but it's OK.

It's a very alert and dedicated pup. 4+ months. Lovely coat as you may have noticed. Athletic and very agile. It understands basic commands... sit, no, out. It's had very good nutrition. All Dewormings and vaccinations are up to date and has omega 3 oil capsules 3 times a week. Consider him for security training if you can.

The pups are now 3 weeks old and have begun the transitional stage of their development. All eyes are open and they are aware of their siblings and even do some paw scratching. A few of them are even more aware and can be seen trying to play act with one or two siblings, licking or climbing over in play form. Their journey of learning the dog life has begun.

We take them out to a clean wider area so they have more space to explore. I am careful too to keep dam with them almost entirely as their awareness, eyes and ears open makes learning the in thing now.

Pups will leave for new homes between week 6 and 8. Best at week 8 cos the two weeks before week 8 are critical to a dog learning the pack life. In my experience I picked up a pup just before week 6 and another at 8. I observed the pup which stayed with mother and siblings till week 8 before coming to me had more dog life attributes. Simple things like basic commands were not too difficult to learn and did I notice the way it picks up it's bone to hide or go to a safe corner to enjoy it's treasure. The pup that did not have that extended stay was not that good and bit at the ankles more.

All nine pups are doing great and now take steadier steps. Eyes are now open and do both SMA baby formula (0-6) and milk from the dam. They are a handful and energetic lot.
