So I got a call from @lukanzay's agent. Person he gave instructions to pick up pup and send to him. He has owned up that they actually put up pup for sale on Jijji. He says they could not send pup to @lukenzay so it was decided that they should sell pup that was given up free for adoption. Then the twist again is that I will have to pay them to have pup returned so it can be given to more sincere adopter.

Like I told him I don't have any dealing with him but with @lukenzay who called originally that he wants pup for adoption. He sent his agent to pick up and send to him. @lukenzay should return pup if he can't fulfill original intentions. It's that simple. Going round and round in circles trying to buy time to sell pup or to extort me is all a ruse. I'm not buying it.

So I decided to bring this story out separately. Some of us are familiar with it from the original thread.

So @lukenzay was first to show up to pick up a pup given out FREE OF CHARGE for adoption. He sent his agent or representative as he said he was far away. I actually bought the pup at 7 weeks. Did all dewormings and vaccinations up to date as people that are familiar with me know I don't cut corners.

Alas within two weeks while browsing on Jijji I saw pup put up for sale for 40k. I called @lukenzay that this is what I saw. He feigned ignorance and said he will call the person that came to pick up puppy. Then the story becomes that the person who came to pick up pup left the puppy in another person's care. This is after he had said he will never do such as sell a puppy that he got FOC strictly for adoption. So with other interested parties we waited on him to produce puppy as he can not take possession himself. Another NLer had signified intention to adopt at that point. Then @lukenzy started meandering that he couldn't reach me. When I finally reached him again and asked for details of exact location where puppy is now and phone number of person with pup. He shows up after days chatting that he was being disturbed by me and that if I want to pick up pup and give it to a more sincere adopter I'd have to pay. Pay for pup that I gave out for adoption and he put up for sale.
I have screen shots of our convo. I have his phone numbers. I also now have his photo ID.

Beware of the FRAUD.

Well now proven. @lukenzay is a FRAUD. Has anyone seen him again on this forum? The whole gimmick of puppy is with another person and not his agent whom he sent to pick it up originally is the scam tactics of extending the line.

All pups were robust and clearly well fed and well taken cared of, the paws were so soft, I can say they ve never walked on hard surface b4

You'd be surprised about this pup. It was the leader amongst the pups only being challenged by the other black and tan. It was already showing aggression towards other pups and food aggression was in tow. The only challenger again is the bigger of the two black and tan. I decided to separate them. You'll discover he's also tricky. I'll tell you a story...

A few days ago I took the pups out for an extended walk by an adjoining street with many dogs. Bull headed BBs and Co. I wanted to take their socialization to the next level in an unfamiliar area barks of unknown bigger dogs showing aggression. This pup was the one that kept walking in front of me but immediately we made the turn to our street it ran off stood at the gates and started barking angrily. I laughed and said see you... all this while you were quiet.

There is something I will like you to keep in mind at all times....... Many of our actions today, while play major impacts in our future (whether positive or negative). You never can tell when you will need Bespokeset's favour in the future. It might even be an endorsement from him, to someone that is to help your destiny in the future. This world is indeed a small place, you don't know what the future holds. You don't know who may come across this thread, that can/may be a major player in your destiny in this single life that we are in.
Me for one, I make sure I don't cause havoc whenever I am being helped. I don't think much about myself in this aspect, I consider the next person the "helper" might come across in the future, that might need the same favour offered to you, from the same person. A question you should ask yourself is "judging with his experience with me, will he be able to help other people that need similar favours?"
Let us take into cognisance the impact of our actions, on other people. As insignificant a drop of water might be, it still creates an obvious ripple in a big tank. It's not too late to redeem yourself. Come out clean be honest about the whole scenario and do the needful.

Pls don't give up on being good. Don't let this one act after you good heart. Don't use one person's action to conclude on anyone that needs favour from you, in the future. I know it is painful and it not only hurts, but stings, especially when there is no means of a physical contact. Please, don't stop bing good. I will love to see the end result of this saga.

Thank you for the advice. I know well the spin of the universe gives us our turn. I can see much further than he thinks his smart behind can smell... so I'm cool but no fool. I ain't done with the situation so let's wait and see.

So theres a plot twist to this whole saga.

@lukenzay got in touch with me. I asked if pup is still in Abuja. He says yes in wuse. I say which wuse as there is wuse 2 and wuse zone...... He goes quiet for a few days. Then pops up and gives me a non reachable number that thats the number of person that came to pick up pup. I asked again what's the phone number of person with pup and where exactly in Abuja.... Then he says I'm disturbing him. The plot twist here now is I'll have to pay to pick up pup to hand over to @Eveesy. Pup that I gave out for free that would have been sold that I want to hand over to another for free too...... He says I'll have to pay.

I've been careful not to jump into conclusions but from interactions I've had with @lukenzay I can conclude that he's a FRAUD. He has promised the number of person with pup for weeks and he never came up with it. The rigmarole that person that came to pick pup traveled to illorin is a ploy to buy time. I've screenshot and saved our convos. I'm done talking with him.... His only option is to return pup.

@Eveesy that's the situation and why you've not gotten go ahead to come pick up pup.

@lukenzay said he couldn't reach me on phone which is strange as he has my alternate number. He sent an introductory mail on 17th April, nl style, to which I responded. Nothing more from him.

I have given @Eveezy right to pick up pup himself but @lukenzay seems to be the one missing in the loop currently.

So I have been careful to be patient and see how things unfold but with each passing day your complicity in this matter becomes more and glaring. Your angle that you're not aware may not hold water as he, the person you asked to pick dog on your behalf, became your agent and as such his actions can be traced back to you. Feigning ignorance without any concrete action suggests collusion. You asked for link. Link is provided. Ad is still up. You go with the 'thank god' phrase is turning to hogwash.

Do the needful and return pup as your negligence speaks volumes. I'd rather it be given to person with genuine intentions.

This is actually not a good way to repay kindness. It dampens the spirit. If you have been emotional with pets you would understand that they are like kids and part of the family. It would do you well to return that Dog @ Lukenzay.... It is as simple as that!

Bespokeset ... i had been following your post right from when you offered the dog to ... the guy in delta jungpablo (i still wondered why he turned it down). Rejecting it is still more noble than trying to play a fast one by selling it on Jiji. Dont let this trouble you, as i know how attached you are to ur dog... Hopefully Lukenzay would do the needful and return it.

Still remain as kind and open as you always have been.

Fellow Dog lovers, Dogs are very close and emotional to us humans, lets not try to play a fast one on anyone who offers to give you a dog... if u cannot take care of one now... in a few months time u would be better prepared. it just saddens my heart that one would offer a pet FREE OF CHARGE (FOC) and the recipient would put it online for sale. Tragic!!!

On the guy at Warri that turned down the offer after showing interest what really happened was that as we discussed and he finally told me where I could take the dog for waybill. I offered to foot bill but I changed my mind and I informed him that I'll not foot the bill for sending as I had quite a bit on my plate. I woke up one morning, I believe the day I announced the adoption, with a message that he was no longer interested.

On the current issue @lukenzay is yet to convince me he's not aware of the intention to sell. If I had not seen the ad the deal may have gone ahead unnoticed. Like you said if he could not conclude arrangements to have it at his location he should inform me and I'll pick up the dog and offer to someone who is ready.

Finally, thank you for your advice on the incident to not change my outlook on kindness. Actually it won't. The principles and laws of the universe don't change. We may change. However we will still have to come round to flow or fly in that wheel of the universe. I could have sold the pup but I can't cos I've had him from 7 weeks till about 5 months +. I needed to reduce my canine population which had come up to about 13 at one point ...some new pups included.

It is infact Lucky.

I called him and he was trying to explain to me that the dog is still in Abuja and could not be sent to him in Lagos yet as the transportaters were afraid of it cos of size. The contact on Jijji isn't his. That story to me is quite interesting. I couldn't talk for long as I had to attend to an issue that came up.

So how did pup get to be put up for sale without his knowledge and go ahead. I'm trying to keep my cool and believe only for the best.
