Religion / Group Distributes Free Xmas Food And Cloth In A Poor Ajegunle Community (pic) by bethelmendels(m): 6:41am On Dec 18, 2016
A humanitarian organization, Voice of Divine Truth International Outreach, aka. Voice of Change Network, yesterday, stormed a slum community in Ajegunle –Lagos, to celebrate Xmas with the poorresidents and to distribute free food and cloth items to them. This was done under the auspices of its Project- Help-a-Child Cloth Global Campaign Initiative.
Addressing the residents of the Ajegunle community during the distribution event, the leader of the group who is popularly called The Apostle of Humanity, Azemobor Gregory said, “ God sent us here to bring hope and encouragement to you. He knows all the suffering and anguish that many of you pass through. He has come to answer your prayers through us. We are here today to celebrate Xmas and the love of Christ and to build a relationship with you. Please accept the little token we have brought. By the grace of God we shall come again to see how we could support you. We are interested in the sponsorship of your kids. We shall also provide scholarship for kids who cannot afford education. This environment is not healthy for living. Many of you need to live in decent houses. We are building a Charity City that will provide free accommodation for the poor. Once we are through with the project many of you will be the first beneficiary”
The group distributed the free food and cloth items to the crowd of poor residents that trouped out to benefit from the gesture. They were full of joy and appreciation to the organization for remembering them this Xmas period. It was like Jesus Christ came down from heaven to ‘celebrate’ his birthday with them.
Azemobor also have a message for all those celebrating Xmas all over the world“ Let me encourage my brothers and sisters all over the world, to use this auspicious occasion of the yuletide celebration to exemplify the life and the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ ,to show love to one another as this is the essence of Christmas. We are set and determined to put smiles on the faces of as many people as possible this Xmas period. For us, love is the reason for the season”
Speaking further he said, “ Do you know that many families will not cook on Christmas day; many will even go to bed hungry; a lot of indigent kids may not afford new clothes to wear and celebrate just like their counterpart who have rich parents. This ugly scenario ought not to be if those of us that profess to be Christians truly imbibe the virtues of the teachings of our lord Jesus Christ. But unfortunately Christ’s teachings on love and kindness have been bastardized by the latter day gospel of prosperity ( a euphemism for greed) and miracle. It is so sad that Christmas celebration witnesses the highest form of hypocrisy and debauchery”
‘We urgently need to create a better society where the welfare of every member would be adequately taken care of. A society that encourages a system that promotes inequality, deprivation and neglect of the majority of her populace is a sick and dysfunctional society, which peace will constantly elude”
“Voice of Divine Truth International Outreach has a divine mandate to propagate the virtue of love amongst humanity. This explains the reason why all of our projects are designed to practically demonstrate love, especially the free food and cloth distribution initiative” He added
Azemobor also disclosed that the vision of the organization was to build a Charity City that would be a place of refuge and solace for the poor in the society. The proposed city would have free 100,000 housing units to shelter destitute, free hospital, free cloth bank, free food bank, free food kitchen, free university, free rehabilitation and empower center for the youth etc. Already, preparations are in place to acquire about a massive warehouse in Lagos to kick start the first phase of the mega project
We distribute free food and cloth items monthly to the poor. To support us with food and cloth donation, please call 08084701414, 08087656176,. If you live in Lagos just give us a call and we pick them up.

Education / We Are Set To Build A Free University For The Poor In Nigeria, Says Azemobor by bethelmendels(m): 9:06pm On Dec 13, 2016
A humanitarian organization, Voice of Divine Truth Int’l Outreach aka Voice of Change Network, is set to build a free university in Nigeria, to assist the education of the poor and the less privilege members of the society. The tertiary institution will be built exclusively for indigent youths and it will be 100% tuition-free.
Voice of Change Network is an organization with a divine mandate to propagate the virtue of love amongst humanity. In furtherance of this noble cause, the organization has embarked on series of humanitarian projects to practically demonstrate the virtue of love, especially to indigent kids, widows and destitute. Some of the projects include: sponsorship advocacy for indigent kids; Cloth bank project to provide free clothes and other household item to the poor; financial support to provide free medical service to kids with critical ailments amongst others. The organization is obviously on a mission to correct the numerous socio-economic imbalance and inequity that exist in society
The International coordinator of the group, Azemobor Gregory, who spoke extensively with the media revealed that the organization’s vision is to build a Charity City that would be a microcosm of God’s Kingdom on earth. According to him, the city would have facilities such as: free 5000 housing units for destitute; free cloth bank; free food bank; free food kitchen to feed 20,000 people daily; free hospital; free rehabilitation and empowerment centre for street children, drug addicts, area boys, prostitutes and ex-convicts among others. The Charity City will also provide free education for poor kids and youths through its free primary/ secondary schools and tertiary institution.
Azemobor stated that, “Since it has become almost impossible for the children of the poor to access education in Nigeria, owing to the dwindling fortunes of our public schools and the astronomical fees charged by private schools, we are compelled by humanitarian compassion to set up free schools for the less privilege. It is so unfortunate that even the government universities are no longer affordable nowadays and the faith-based institutions are also beyond the reach of the poor. As a people we must consider the welfare of the poor amongst us and ensure that we cater for them. If we neglect them, they could turn around to hunt society through social vices”
“Speaking further he said, “we are putting machinery in place to launch the free school project and by the grace of God, by the year 2020, the free university will kick off. Let me also use this opportunity to invite public spirited individuals and corporate organizations to partner with us in actualizing the free school project. I tell you, this project provides an opportunity for ‘kingdom investment’. Whenever you give to the poor, you make an investment for eternity. It is the only investment that God pays dividend for. Your earthly investment does not attract God’s dividend. So be wise!”

Politics / Falana Accuses Religious Leaders Of Trivialising Sexual And Domestic Offences by bethelmendels(m): 7:33pm On Dec 03, 2016
Recently in Lagos, a symposium tagged ‘It’s on us to end violence against women and children’ organised by Access Bank’s Financial Control and Strategy Group in collaboration with Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, was held at the Lagos head office of the bank. The symposium was organised to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and 16 days of activism against gender violence.
A human right activist Mr Femi Falana, SAN, who was the guest speaker at the event, said that cultural and religious institutions, in the country especially churches and mosques, are the greatest promoters of sexual and domestic violence.

Falana also said that he would challenge cultural practices such as the Oro Festival in court because of their tradition of limiting women’s mobility through acts of violence in Ikorodu, Lagos and some other parts of the South west
Those present at the event included: Access Bank’s chairperson, Mrs Mosun Belo-Olusoga, Group Managing Director, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, Lagos Attorney-General, Adeniji Kazeem, the state’s Solicitor-General, Funlola Odunlami and Lagos police boss, Fatai Owoseni. Falana accused some religious leaders of trivialising sexual and domestic offences, stating that when such leaders are implicated in such acts, their followers gang up against the victims for daring to make a complaint.
Many advocacy groups amongst which is the Project Help-a-Child Global Campaign team were also present to give colour to the event. The forum provided an opportunity for stakeholders to network and synergize on how best to tackle the menace of domestic violence against women and children in Nigeria
Azemobor Gregory, the coordinator of the Project-Help-a- Child team in a chat with VOCNEWS, enjoined Nigerians to imbibe the virtue of love as a lifestyle in their interactions with one another. He noted that if people treat each other with love, the incidences of domestic violence will be drastically reduced in our society.

Religion / The World Would Be A Better Place Without Religion-azemobor Gregory by bethelmendels(m): 4:01pm On Nov 28, 2016
Let me begin this piece with an absolute truth: God does not belong to any religion! He did not found any religion, men did. God is simply God! Come to think of it, it is rather unfair for any religion to assert exclusive ownership to His person. His unfathomable sovereignty transcend any religious dogma. With this truth settled in our mind, let us without sentiment, examine the various ills religion has inflicted on humanity, and perhaps reach an objective conclusion as to the continuous existence of organized religion.

Have you ever stopped to think about what our world would be like without religion? Well, I have. And it would be incredibly different. Religion has disadvantaged the human race in more ways than one and it is time to change and rid the human race of its many unrealistic superstitions. “Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity“. This is a quote from a historical figure, Thomas Jefferson. If it were not for religion, millions upon millions of people of different religions would not have been murdered throughout the crusades, witch-hunts and other cases where religion was the cause or excuse for the murder and execution of people, mainly in the dark ages. It is also possible that the dark ages themselves would have not existed if religion didn’t. During these times many people were brainwashed and believed that witches and other supernatural beings were everywhere, causing them to hunt down so called witches and werewolves. Enough said here. No amount of denial by the religious community can refute this.

There have always been tensions between different religions and in many instances, conflict. There have been many injuries and deaths as a result of these conflicts and many of these casualties are not even from the fighting in the conflicts, they are the elderly, or women and children brutally murdered, raped or bludgeoned because they believed in a different ‘outlandish’ religion and ‘bogus’ god. More often than not, the conflicts were a result of a play for power by a dominant leader, wanting more, using religion to justify their acts of inhumanity.

Even in today’s world there is great tension between different religions, for example the terrorist attacks where; once again, innocent people were needlessly killed. Muslim extremists who believed that Christians are evil and must be destroyed, decided to ram two planes into a couple of buildings killing thousands of mothers, fathers, daughters and brothers, affecting a whole nation, and even the whole world, and They justify the slaughter by saying its an act of God. For example, the mass murders and the ‘holocausts’ that have happened in recent centuries, over 200,000,000 people of different faiths have been murdered because they do not fit in, or they clash with the beliefs of a more powerful religion.

There have been many people who have died because of this blind stupidity of religion. Consider the following for example: in USA, Heavens Gate cult , a religious establishment at ‘Jonestown’ in 1978 was led by Jim Jones who was a great leader. However, he believed that the world was coming to an end and believed that the Bible said that the only way to get to the ‘kingdom of heaven’ was to have a ceremony and commit suicide. He did this, along with 909 other weak minded people that he tricked using his religion. Without the power of religion this would have been unlikely to happen.
Even more recent, is the ‘Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God’ in 2000. The leaders of this group claimed that they had seen visions of the Virgin Mary and also believed that the world was going to come to an end. They told their many followers these outlandish claims, and conned 778 people into killing themselves and others in a series of fires, poisonings and murders. This is yet another example of the power of religion and its destructive properties.

What would the world be like without religion? Many people die every year from diseases and sickness, some of which could be treated and saved from a certain death but who reject transplants and transfusions due to their religious beliefs one such religion is Jehovah’s Witness. These people do not accept or give blood because they believe that blood is sacred to God. They also do not allow organ transplants. There are a number of other religions that do not accept organ transplants and blood transfusions; these people die long and painful deaths which can be prevented.

The catalogue of ills inflicted by religion on the human race is endless. I think it is high time we abolish religion before it exterminates mankind. I believe strongly, that without religion universal brotherhood will flourish, and the hitherto religious barriers that hinder our common humanity will give way to a blissful social coexistence.
Finally, let me end this piece my saying that, religion has never, at anytime, drawn humanity closer to God. Rather it has greatly, to a large extent, misrepresented the personality of God to us, through vain dogmas and doctrines that are not in sync with God’s instituted natural laws, which govern the universe. It is instructive to note, however, that every human being is an extension of God, and that He lives in us and constantly communicates and relates with us through the VOICE OF CONSCIENCE. Whenever we obey the voice of conscience, we obey God, and thereby build cordial relationship with him, as his children. If every one of us understand this truth and allow our lives to be guided by it, there would be peace and order on earth.

The Project-Help-a-Child team on the street in Ikeja, interacting with Nigerians; telling them to show love to one another especially to vulnerable indigent kids in our midst.

Our vision is to help create a world where no child lives in lack by inspiring people to care for indigent kids in the society

Society is not changed by the multitude, but by the very few that have the courage to stand up for what is right! This is the philosophy that guides what we do as a team. What we do may not appeal to the majority; it may not even attract enough likes, comments and shares on social media. The traditional media may not be interested in promoting our cause. But we are not going to be silent in the face of pervasive social vices and societal malady. Every day, we strive to make the little impact that we could, it may not be much. Posterity is meticulously documenting all our little efforts, sacrifices and contributions in creating a better society for the good of all. Very soon! I say very soon!! . This seemingly unpopular campaign will snowball into a MOVEMENT that will shake the world. Watch out!!!!!

Together we can create a world where no child lives in lack

A walk, to Say No to Mob Killings, Jungle justice, Violence and Rape in Nigeria, organized by my good brother, Bar. Evans Ufeli . As usual, the Project-Help-a-Child team was on ground to lend support to the awareness campaign. Kudos to Bar. Evans Ufeli for putting up this noble event to sensitize Nigerians on the need to take responsibility in cleansing our society of social vices.

Nairaland / General / “Christmas Without Hunger” Initiative Set To Feed Widows, Orphans During Xmas by bethelmendels(m): 1:46pm On Nov 18, 2016
The Medical Director of Synergy Medicals, Dr. Dada Dare and his team are set to touch the lives of widows, the elderly and the poor this forth coming Xmas celebration with a charity program tagged “Christmas without Hunger”, season 4. According to Dare, the project which started about 4 years ago, has tremendously touched the lives of many less privilege family during festive periods. It is common knowledge that during festive periods, while few people have so much to squander in affluent celebration, the majority of the poor are neglected to suffer hunger and want. So a noble gesture like the Christmas without Hunger project organized by Dr. Dada Dare and his team is a welcome Development.
Sharing a post on his facebook page in preparation for 2016 “Christmas without Hunger” program, he said
“Good morning great people, we have about 4 weeks to the distribution of rice to Widows, Orphans, poor senior citizens and estranged wives of about 10years. So,the Lord has been gracious unto us. We have 900 people to reach out to in Lagos and from Ogun state after 3 months of screening. We have raised over N1.7 million and we still need more than N2 million.
Just this morning a doctor friend who practices in Canada sent us N50,000. We planned to give a quarter bag of rice to each beneficiary and if the Lord is touching you to give, don't hesitate. It may not be money, it may also be a bag of rice. We can pick it from any part of Lagos. As Nigerians, We are a strong and resilient people who don't give up in the face of difficulties and harsh economic realities. Drop something for the needy and the Lord will reward you. Thank you”.
In another post Dr Dare also said
“Today is a game of numbers. 4 weeks to Christmas Without Hunger season 4. We have a total of 67 people who had donated so far almost N2,000,000 expecting N3,000,000 more. 30% of the donors are medical doctors, of ALL the doctors who paid so far,50% practice in Nigeria and the rest in diaspora. Between yesterday and today, we have about N108,000 into the local vault and $100 into the Gofundme Acct.
Tomorrow by 8am , I will be on Star Fm 101.5 with one of the Oyatoguns ,trying to tell our story to the world and see how we can still raise more money for CWH 2016. Where your leg cannot reach ,your prayers and pay can do more. God bless you”
“I have a strong belief in me that more Nigerians are good people than the few that pop up on the electronic media cum our thieving politicians with support of few chronic thieving civil servants. Be that as it may,Nigerians are great pple.
I was on Star Fm yesterday morning with Moyo Oyatogun(this is a lady that I first listened to abt a decade ago). Before the day ran out people were calling to support and a lawyer donated money for 1 bag of rice for Christmas Without Hunger. We are grateful as you give.

Group distributes free clothes to indigent kids and destitutes at Agege, Lagos
A humanitarian organization, Voice of Divine Truth International Outreach aka Voice of Change Network, stormed the Agege area of Lagos state recently to demonstrate love and compassion towards the destitutes and beggars in that axis, by distributing free clothes to them. This exercise is in line with the Project-Help-a-Child Free Cloth Bank launched recently by the group. The idea behind the cloth bank project is to collect unused clothing and other household items from the rich and average income families, and share them to the poor and the less privilege amongst us. This will mitigate the ugly situation where many people go about naked or scantily dressed, especially vulnerable poor kids.
The leader of the group, Azemobor Gregory, disclosed that the organization has a divine mandate to propagate the virtue of love amongst humanity, and that is why they have embarked on various projects that practically demonstrate love. Amongst such project are : Project-Help-a-Child Global Campaign, Free cloth bank, Free hospital services, Free food Kitchen and Free educational Institutions( free primary/secondary school and free university). According to Azemobor, These facilities obviously, will make life meaningful for the poor and the less privilege amongst us.
“The vision of the organization is to build a Charity Village that will have Free cloth bank warehouse; Free hospital facility, Free food Kitchen; and Free educational Institutions( free primary/secondary school and free university. The Charity Village will become a place of solace and refuge to those that have been unfairly treated and neglected by an unjust society”, Azemobor explained.
Speaking during the free cloth distribution exercise, He said “what we are doing here is to demonstrate practical compassion by providing free clothing to our brothers and sister, and this is a strong message of love to everyone, that we should learn how to be our brothers’ keeper by lending a helping hand to the needy around us. Let me also encourage us to always give whatever we have that we don’t need to the needy. Many of us for instance, have wardrobes loaded with unused clothes! Let me say these, If you have some clothes that you have not worn for the past six months, you don’t need them, give that out to the less privilege!
“Let me also use this opportunity to invite you to partner with the free cloth bank project. If you live in Lagos and you have some clothes to donate, just put them together and give us a call we shall be there to pick them up. You could also become a Coordinator, whose duty is to talk to people and collect their unused clothes for us. Everyone can be a part of this project and together we can create a world where nobody lives in lack”
The distribution exercise at Agege, Lagos was a huge success as many indigent kids, destitutes and beggars trooped out to receive free clothing. They were full of joy and praises for the organization. It was indeed a day to remember! A day when “God’ literally visited these hapless members of the society and showed them unusual kindness

Religion / What Is The Worth Of Your Life? -azemobor Gregory by bethelmendels(m): 5:23am On Nov 08, 2016
Albert Einstein succinctly captured the essence of life when he stated that “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile”. This aphorism needs to be re-echoed to a world that is precariously lost to the pursuit of egocentricity and self-aggrandizement; a world that is ravaged by the canker worm of greed and wicked self-interest. But be that as it may; let me begin this piece by giving a perspective definition of what the notion ‘worth’ is all about

The concept of ‘worth’ connotes the intrinsic value that a thing possesses. And value speaks of the usefulness of one thing for another. In other words, the value of anything is the benefit it coffers on others. Drawing a corollary from this definition, one can posit that value is not self-serving. Its importance is measured by the utility derived from it. Now in paraphrasing the topic under discussion, one would say: what is the value of your life? How much benefits do others derived from your life? What utility does your life coffer on people around you?  Apart from you and your close family members, how many people have you torched positively with your life?  How many less privilege persons have you helped altruistically, knowing that they cannot repay your benevolence? If you cannot provide answer to these questions in the affirmative, then you need a sincere re-appraisal of the worth of your life.

When God created you, He sent you to planet earth for a purpose. Your life is not an accident; you are not a happenstance. You have a specific assignment to fulfill here on earth and that is why you are here. It is also imperative to emphasize that your purpose or your earthly assignment is predicated on the value and utility that your life coffer on others. Simply put, what you do to enhance the life of other people is the true worth of your life. But the ironic tragedy of our mortal existence is that majority of us walking through this terrestrial space, do not have the remotest idea about the purpose for our lives, and the need to serve others and live for the overall good of the society.

The late iconic motivational speaker and world renowned author, Myles Munroe, rightly observed when he lamented that “the greatest tragedy on earth is not death, but life without a purpose” During his lifetime he traversed the length and breadth of the world preaching the message of purpose, yet many are still stuck in the aimless ‘voyage’ of  life.

My dear brothers and sisters let me ask you these salient questions: Have you ever taken your time to think deeply about your life? Are you aware that you are not the owner of your life, and that God who is the owner will one day ask you to give account of it? On a more serious note: what are you doing right now with your life? Okay, I know you are a businessman; you are even a successful professional and your work is what you live for. You wake up 6 am in the morning and get back home late in the night, working from Monday to Saturday. No time really!  “You know one has to very work hard to put food on the table and provide for the family” you would say, as a defense for your preoccupation. Beloved, don’t worry, I can feel your concerns, because I am human like you, and  I know all the economic hassles and the attendant desperation that we all have to go through for survival. But the pertinent question is: are these all that life entails? I am asking you. Could you give me a plausible answer!  Don’t deceive yourself. You know as well as I do that in spite of all of these demanding life engagements and the so-called ‘achievements’ they portend, we still go about with a sense of meaninglessness and melancholy. You constantly have a feeling of emptiness that material wealth cannot fill. You erroneously believe that perhaps, more money will make you happier. But the more money you have the more miserable you become. Please note that this feeling of emptiness is a pointer to the fact that you are not in alignment to purpose. That is the bitter truth. You are simply existing, but not living!

If you drop dead today, what will you tell God about your life. Oh! You were a successful businessman or that you attained to the pinnacle of your career and profession. You were stupendously rich in material possessions: exotic houses and fleet of latest automobiles; just name them, you had them all……all that money could buy. Please! Please!!  Spare me the tales of all your ‘achievements’ because your Maker isn’t going to listen to those craps. If your life is not lived in accordance to his purpose-to add value to the life of others, you have succeeded in living a wasted life!  As far as God is concerned, you are useless to his creation!

Steve Job’s last word on his dying bed admonishes us about the futility of our earthly preoccupations and the hazardous craze for material wealth. Steve Job, a co-founder of Apple was a successful entrepreneur and one of the richest men that ever lived. Hear him and be wise:

“I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success. However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to.

“At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death. In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of god of death drawing closer…

“Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth… Should be something that is more important: Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days.

“Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me. God gave us the senses to let us feel the love in everyone’s heart, not the illusions brought about by wealth. The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me. What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love. That’s the true riches which will follow you, accompany you, giving you strength and light to go on.

“ Love can travel a thousand miles. Life has no limit. Go where you want to go. Reach the height you want to reach. It is all in your heart and in your hands. What is the most expensive bed in the world? Sick bed… You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone to bear the sickness for you.

“Material things lost can be found. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost – Life. When a person goes into the operating room, he will realize that there is one book that he has yet to finish reading – Book of Healthy Life. Whichever stage in life we are at right now, with time, we will face the day when the curtain comes down. Treasure Love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends. “

Beloved, would you resolve today to live for others?  Do you know that the good you do for others is your only true legacy in life?. Do not be deceived by your houses, cars and material possessions. They will all pass away!  But the good and compassion you show to others is the only thing that will define the true worth of your life before God. Today is the day for that decision. Tomorrow may be too late!

We wish specially, to introduce to you, our revolutionary personalized plastic hand fan that is most suitable to promote your corporate identity, products and services. The hand fans are designed and customized with your advertising messages and logo.
95% of advertising flyers you share, end up in waste bin
The use of flyer as a below the belt advertising tool is very popular among organizations to communicate their messages and offers to their target audience. However, over the years, this tool has become ineffective as people have become grossly disinterested in flyers. They hardly read the content of flyers nowadays and the next thing they do is dump it into a waste bin. This attitude has a negative impact on the success of a company’s marketing campaign goals, and especially scarce resources is wasted on printing flyers that people don’t read.
The use of customized hand fans as an effective advertising tool
The most obvious function of a hand fan is temperature control. Even the most crudely made fan can make a hot sticky day more bearable. The great benefits of hand fans are that they are portable, functional, economical and easy to use.
Nowadays, hand fans are widely used as a perfect advertising item for outdoor. With its large printing area, companies can imprint their logo, brand name or anything they want to deliver to the recipient on both side of the advertising hand fans ,using full colors printing. With different shapes and materials, companies can have their personalized advertising hand fans for a successful marketing campaign. Below are some of the benefits of using the customized hand fan as an effective advertising tool

1. It can be designed and customized with the companies’ logo, colours and specific advertising messages
2. It Is easily accepted by people because of its functional value as hand fan
3. People could keep the hand fan for a long time, thereby enhancing the duration of the advertising message and the brand identity to the recipient( target audience)
4. The advertising impact of using hand fans are more effective than paper flyers
5. Customized paper hand fans are more cost effective over a long period, because the frequency of producing the hand fan is lesser than the easily disposable paper flyers
6. The hand fan can also be used as a perfect promotional gift item, to be given out to customers during festivities and promo campaigns.
7. The customized hand fans can actually be regarded as “portable bill boards” with recipients showcasing your company and advertising message wherever they go.

Politics / Abandoned Mother Of Triple Twins:group Continue Scholarship Offer For 2 Kids by bethelmendels(m): 11:47am On Oct 21, 2016
Early July last years, 2015, the whole news media went agog with the pathetic story of one Mrs. Uche, whose husband absconded from home because she had a new set of twins added to the two set of twins she already had . The hapless woman who could not bear the burden of caring for the six children all alone, went to the Lagos state Government secretariat in Alausa- Ikeja, in a bid to get the attention of the governor to her plight. Fortunately for her, a correspondent with the Nations Newspapers interviewed her, and immediately her story went viral. The Lagos government got informed about her condition, invited her to Alausa and gave her some money to rent a new house and start a business. The Speaker of Lagos of State of Assembly, Hon. Abasa also visited Mrs. Uche and gave her a cash gift as well. Many other kind hearted Nigerians trooped to her house in Agege to show her love and compassion.
The Project-Help-a-Child team read about the woman’s condition in one of the popular online blogs, and in our characteristic manner of showing love and compassion to the needy, we visited the family. During our visit we gave the woman some cash donation and also promised to sponsor a set of the twins , John and Joy, on a complete scholarship basis, from Primary school to the university. True to our promise, we enrolled the kids into a private school, in Matogun area of Ogun State ( the new residential area of the Uches). The kids are now in Primary 2 at Mustard Plant In,l School, Matogun.
Today, the team visited the kids to see how they were faring, and to also present the bank teller of the school fees payment for this term to the Proprietor of the school. Both the parents of the kids and the kids themselves were elated to see us. Mrs Uche was full of profuse thanks and appreciation for our kind gesture to the family. According to her among all the people that came around and made promises to her, during the time her husband ran away, Project-Help-a-Child team is the only group that have remained steadfast and faithful to their promise to support the family.
The husband, Mr. Emeka Uche had since reunited with the family. They now run a petty food business within their neighbourhood and to God be the glory their condition of living has improved.
Beloved, the pictures and the videos of our support to the Uche family is not to show off , as many would misconstrue our actions. What we do is a strong message of compassion and love to humanity. We may not be able to help every poor out there, but you can be inspired by our actions and do likewise, and together we can create a world where no child lives in lack!

Religion / Pastor Launches Anointed Soap That Lures Men, Bring Back Lost Lovers(photo) by bethelmendels(m): 6:24am On Oct 11, 2016
A prophet in Harare, Prophet Tapiwa Freddy of Goodness and Mercy Ministries, has launched anointed soap for his female church members.
The soap is said to enable the ladies lure men into love relationships, among other uses of the supernatural soap. ”All married women your prayers have been heard, if your husband is cheating on you and even if he has lost interest in you sexually, your anointed soap is the answer. All you have to do is wash your underwear with that soap or simply bath yourself, make sure the soap passes where he has lost interest and you will definitely come back with a testimony.

“To the singles if you are unlucky in love, anointed soap is the answer, you will find men approaching you, they will see you attractive and beautiful. Ugly women will be married this season because of what God will be doing through anointed soaps, ” the pastor said.
Congregants storm the church which is located opposite Glen View 8 Poly Clinic, with different colours and shapes, for the pastor to pray and get it converted to supernatural soaps. Talking to reporters after the service, prophet Freddy said:  “I use anointed soaps because God instructed me to do so, these are soaps that they brought and all I did was anoint them. God has his way of doing things depending on the situation. Prophet Elisha used a stick that the ax may be recovered from a river in 2 Kings Chapter 6 verse 6. “At one stage our master Jesus spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle and anointed the eyes of a blind man. A prophet acts upon the word spoken to him by God and that word will produce results. “What is important is telling the congregants not to rely on the anointed soaps but rather to rely on God who anoints the soaps. I am sure that a lot of testimonies will come from those who have their anointed soaps.”

Editor's note

People should beware of where to go to seek miracles. Magicians and fraudsters are on the prowl!

Politics / "I Reduced My Convoy To 5 Vehicles, Bought Fuel Myself For The Cars".-peter Obi by bethelmendels(m): 8:13am On Oct 04, 2016
Here are Ex-Gov Peter Obi quotes that set the internet on fire...during his speech at the PLATFORM 2016.A program powered by Covenant Christian Centre.

"To you young people, Take Back your Country...it is your future they are toying with". - Peter Obi

"I reduced my convoy to 5 vehicles and you cannot buy fuel unless I am in the car".- Peter Obi

"If I sleep in a hotel and have to pay N250k a night, I will be awake all night...feeling like I was robbed". - Peter Obi

"You know there are many big men in Anambra state, so when they want to see me, I say to them I will come to you instead".- Peter Obi

"We handed schools back to Churches and by 2013, we were number one in WAEC."- Peter Obi

"I beg you to participate more in politics, the society we help them abuse today will take its revenge tomorrow".- Peter Obi

"The only way out of recession is to spend for growth. You can only spend for growth either from savings or from borrowing.
The question is:  what are you borrowing for?
Are you borrowing for consumption or for production?
When you borrow for consumption, you are heading for disaster."

-- Peter Obi.

" I had to stop the Presidential lodge in Anambra... A project awarded at 400million. I had to close down state house in lagos and Abuja... Because I felt we dont need it.... Even when other states had."

" They said President Obasanjo is coming... I went to borrow the kind of cars they wanted... Instead of spending millions... From a neigbouring state."

"I requested Obasanjo to spend the nights in my lodge Since they said he must sleep over... I asked my wife to pack out of my bedroom... We went opposite to lodge in a hotel (name mentioned) for the week, we paid N30,000 instead of N100,000."

"I used the 150million for 2 bullet proof cars to buy almost 50 Peugeot cars at 3 million each.. gave 17 to JUDGES and 18 to permanent Secretaries (because i discovered they did not have cars) and kept 10 for govt house... which I used as Governor... I did not use bullet proof cars as Governor."

"They said we should attend world Igbo Congress in U. S.... That the budget WAS cut from 40 to 32million.... I asked them why... That only one person should go and come and tell us what was discussed."

"Instead of paying 30,000 for each security personnel (about 30) per night in Abuja, I told IG to give me Police whenever am in Abuja....I travel alone... Ppl complained.... The 15 drivers lodged in Abuja state house...who come to airport to cause confusion, i asked to go, kept only 3. The others to go back to Akwa or look for job... I asked the cook to go back to Akwa instead of giving him 30,000 per plate."

"When Governors lodge and Govt house was burnt before I came... With budget of 400million and 300 million, I repaired them for 42 million and 80million respectively. They wanted to impeach me that I did not spend by due process... Following the awarded Contracts and contractor.... I saw a table.. That my predecessor used, they said its old... I asked them to renovate it... That all i needed was a table to write as Governor... "

" So so so I was able to save money and made sure that ANAMBRA HAS THE BEST ROAD NETWORK THAN ANY OTHER STATE IN NIGERIA....."

PETER OBI....WORDS ON MARBLE! "

Religion / No! Pastor Adeboye, Your Approach Is Wrong… Peniel Plus by bethelmendels(m): 8:46am On Oct 02, 2016
“Let’s put our minds into any gad***n church, any gad***n mosque, any gad***n Celestical (Celestial), including Sera-FUM (Seraphim) and Cheru-BUM (Cherubim). And you non-Christians, listen to me with open mind”

Two nights ago, I took a break from research work, decided to watch news on local television and catch up with goings-on in the polity. After the news, I was not quite enjoying an old movie flick, ‘Broken Arrow’ featuring John Travolta and Christian Slater, being shown on one of the stations and decided to flip to another station. My remote control took me to the 61st Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and I was just too happy to catch up with the Convention in my living room. Anointing can be anywhere, if faith is exuded like the Centurion.

Then before sermon, General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Adeboye made a special announcement. The church is to build a new auditorium, stretching 3km in length and width, and four times the size of the present auditorium, to accommodate many more parishioners, before next year’s convention. Everyone was naturally excited, particularly those who get to camp ground late and cannot be seated in the present auditorium. Then Pastor Adeboye shocked me with the following pronouncement:

“We need N1 Billion from ten (10) people, If you are one of them, please see my personal Secretary after we finish today. We also need N100million from those who can afford it, if you are in that category, please see my personal Secretary as well. Nonetheless, we need everyone’s involvement. If you can afford N50million, N20million, N5million, N1million to as low as N100, kindly make sure you participate. How many of you will build for the Lord?” All hands naturally went up in delirium.

I could not believe my eyes. I should not bother myself with how a church raises money to finance projects but a dangerous trend is being set and we are made to believe if we cannot ‘donate’ a certain amount of money, we cannot see Daddy G.O.’s personal Secretary. Such ‘privilege’ is for those that can donate handsomely for the work of God. Assuming a rich man in the Convention donates N1Billion effortlessly and a widow, whose next source of meal is unsure, donates her last N100; who among the two should see Pastor Adeboye’s personal Secretary? Well the answer lies in Luke 21:1-4 and Mark 12:41-44, where Jesus Christ acknowledged the poor widow who donated two copper coins (mite) over the rich donors and said “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on”.

How do we begin to justify asking members of a congregation to donate such a huge amount of money when poverty is smiling at most of the country’s citizens? The last time they were told to donate generously for the Lord towards a University project, as ordained by God, they all gladly did. The sad thing is at N510,000 per session for College of Humanities (100L & 200L), N520,000 for Management Science students and N550,000 for Natural Sciences students; Redeemer’s University is not for a Redeemer whose minimum wage is around N18,000. So they have contributed to a project, believing they are sowing for God, yet cannot send their wards/kids to such schools. Interestingly, many of the Pastors (and church leaders) running private Universities today, all enjoyed free education (absolutely free, including free lunch of Rice and Chicken – every Sunday) under Awolowo’s magnanimity. Education is now for rich members only but poor members are not exempt from donations. Hmmmm!

If the project was for research on AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, I would not bat an eyelid. If it was for national fight against Polio eradication in Nigeria like the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation in Africa, we would see the immediate benefits. If it was some sort of entrepreneurial aid to jobless youths, we would feel the impact as a nation. In spite of Bill and Melinda Gates contributions to Polio eradication, Nigeria remains the only African country (not Rwanda, not Mali, not Somalia or Sudan) where Polio is endemic and she shares this feat with Pakistan and Afghanistan. Interestingly, Pakistan reduced the number of polio cases from 198 in 2011 to 56 in 2012; Afghanistan saw a decrease from 80 to 35 during the same period, however, Nigeria increased from 62 in 2011 to 119 in 2012.

In 2013, The Gates foundation committed a fresh $1.8 Billion to the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) out of the $5.5 Billion required. Britain contributed $457 million, Canada donated $250 million while $240 million came from Norway. Even the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahayan donated $120 million. Remarkably, these donations from foreign countries are geared towards solving the Polio scourge in 3 countries, Nigeria included. Foreigners help us to fight major health challenges while our idea of development is in gigantic buildings to be used once or twice a month for religious purposes. Our own priority in Nigeria is owning jets, breaking heads with mace, fighting for elections and building bigger auditoriums. Is it not clear why we are not developing as a country?

The message I got from the pulpit was clear, concise and profound. It does not matter where the N1 Billion comes from, provided it is donated for God’s work. Ever wonder why it is difficult for Pastors and General Overseers to condemn those who have looted our treasury? Recall when Cecelia Ibru and Erastus Akingbola had front row seats at major religious conventions in Nigeria? Did any Pastor speak against their deeds, like Nathan confronted and condemned King David in 2 Samuel 12? The subtle message is clear: “we need your money for the work of God and it does not matter how you get it”. Those who have sincerely worked hard for their wealth will only donate to worthy causes such as Aliko Dangote did when he announced a relief fund contribution of N2.5 Billion to the relief effort of flood victims in 2012.

The opening quote is an expression in one of Fela’s songs. If only we can all have open minds, we may yet realise that what we need in Nigeria are religious leaders who can speak out against evil without mincing words. Excuse me please, I have to find my own N1 Billion now, so I can have pastoral access. Shalom!
