scofield03: You had ur Bsc in? Which msc programme are u applying to? Did u satisfy the basic requirement for d programme? Is admission for the programme restricted, I mean the admission quota, restricted class size ? Hope you MLetter matched ur interests, previous knowledge and future plans? With a cgpa of 4.2, u should get admission, I am sure something is fundamentally wrong with ur application.? Sincerely answer this questions. Note that there is enough time to make applications and begin studies in october 2015. |

Habahhhhh ! It hav tey oooooooo. Guys sorry for the leave of absence. Ok I will check. My simple advice is this, for those interested to make applications this year. 1) Spend time browsing the net, and daad website for your choice course and university. 2) Take ur time and browse through ur choice university's website. Please pay attention to details and salient info. Some school's programmes may have hidden opportunities. Only the dedicated and diligent ones will see it. 3) Review the application requirements. Start now to gather what u don't have ready for the application. For e.g apply for transcripts, make photocopies of your documents,deadlines etc. 4) I strongly advice you start writing ur motivation letter. Ensure u finish it like in the 1st week of feb. Between feb and when u submit ur application, u have ample time to review, correct and repackage ur Mletter. By so doing u Mletter will be 100%. 5) There is nothing wrong to start saving for ur applications. There is nothing wrong in having a small save box, like those days of 1991 and co, put money in the box always. By the time u will be ready to submit ur applications, u will be surprised how much u have. The truth is, some persons might not be fortunate to have money at hand, when its time to pay UNI-assist and this may cause delay. So to avoid this plan, budget and save. 6) Nothing stops u from sending ur applications now,if andd only if u are ready. I hope u know that? But if u are not ready, don't panic, applications are received until JUNE 15 for most schools. But be warned some application deadlines are earlier say April or May even March. But if u have done (2) & (3), u won't have any problems. 7) Use all forms or reminders to remind u of deadlines. U can involve that ur little sis that never forgets dates. Seriously, This kuwait walka may not be a bad idea. I have read and seen a lot about this kuwait the good, the bad and ugly. But what I found out is this! First ensure u have a degree, bsc, msc , phd or more. This will give u a chance to get a job. Secondly, its safer to get the job first when u are in nigeria, using online opportunities. But u must be careful, because scamers are every where, I tink u don't need to pay any money to apply and get a job. If u get a job, plz double check the company, do a background check and profile the company very well, be sure it exists. Thirdly, apply for kuwait visa, their embassy is in Abuja, in oguta street , maitama abuja (plz confirm oooo, before u jump inside ocean ooo). I learnt the visa fee is about 3KWD; equivalent to 1500 Naira. Fourth, the visa you will be issued will be confirmed and stamped on entry. This is the little I know oooo, but kindly verify these info before u make any move. |

Went to post office in Enugu, where I am Known as a "the german customer" . The workers there are aware that all mails to Germo , gats be registered mails. Pls for the records, if you go to a post office in this country, I advice you trace the HQ in your state or area , when you go there, tell them you want to post documents or mail to Germo, tell them you want registered. They will weigh your mail and tell you the weight and price . The price is dependent on the weight of your mail! If you put stone in side u will pay more, if na only paper you will pay less ("waiting for the fellow that will ask if he/she can send STONE"  .The price is not much but for the kind of things people on this thread send, it will cost about 500-1200 naira ( it depends on the weight ooooooooo). It takes 10-14 working days for the mail to get to germany. However, just like Eke47 said, if you go to their international office in an "international airport" it takes 5-8 working days (although I don't know if they have such in the local airport you can verify). Nigerians can be so funny! See as all the passive and "walka pass" followers of this thread, see as una just appear because NDDC don show. I laugh you people in chinese. Well, I thank you gyck, am sure you know why. Fct01 I believe you now, you are indeed a good man. Others whom are scientifically selfish,evil and wicked, who do not want names to" EMMAnate " on the list via a contract visit, shame on them. Am sure old members can see who is the real devils incarnate and enemy of progress. Cabaye, csimmms am sure u can see clearly now, Bethiano is light years far from what you paint of his personality. I want to raise my cap, raise my hands and shout TWUALE! In honour of courageous scholars who forced the hands of NDDC to release this list, through their social media actions and newspaper publications. May God bless them. I want to say thank you for what you have done for us. We shall meet again. How I wish....! Gyck! Am sure you now understand why? So don't bother to ask me my success status on the scholarship, the truth is if u see me on the award day you will never know me, because you will not see bethiano there, you will see a good guy, looking great with all goodness available in this world. I know that some of you have bad plans and will do your best to frustrate my success! Hahahhahahahaha, sorry to disappoint you, I have counter attack plans. Plz, if you are yet to make a decision on how best you will serve this nation, pls do that ASAP before the award day, otherwise don't come there and waist your time. I want this generation of scholars to be the best, I don't want fools around, especially cowards that chicken out when its utterly important to be brave. If you have not been contacted, I pray you to forget about it. Shift focus to some other endeavours. Work hard next year. By the way, some members of this group have approved the use of external hands to ensure one's name on the list, well That's their view. Just know that if you decide to take that path next year, you will not escape my venom. I will torment you until you lose out. I am against such practice, MERIT must have its way. But if your interventions to get your name on the list is/are divine, hmmmmmm... I have nothing to say on that, cos I don't engage DIVINITY to a fight for "a man does not fight his chi"(chinua Achebe, 1979) . To those whom I have offended in any way, be it in the past, presently or future. Please forgive and forget. Cismmmmss, that's not a good way to apologise,I will accept it like that, ok! Thank you good people of niger delta, So as it stands, we have mountaintop1, fct , who are willing and available to make the visit. That's great news. Now don' bother about visiting day, as a group who NDDC owes an obligation, visiting day is not for us. You ppl can call that number cabaye dropped here for enquires, or place a call to the MDs office to book an appointment. Even if he is not around you can request to see his PA, director of education,even PRO, anyhow just make sure say una see 2or more important NDDC official. I advice you guys exchange numbers or connect via email. So the next step is questions to ask them. 1) Why the delay 2) In the event that its not released this year, what Next? 3) If released this year what are the implications as to begin school in the next semester (summer) 4)Tell them that you will like to be assured that the process is still transparent and merit based as it was from onset. 5) What are the chances of releasing the list this month , because some us can still make it to our varsities in that we have been given extension for resumption. 6)in what ways can we contribute to make the award ceremony glorious, so we can plan ahead, to show that NDDC is working . ( This is just to make them feel important and happy , otherwise its not important) 7)We hear rumours of the process being truncated, but we believe NDDC would not fall short and not compromise standards. I know I warned about this betrayal and hesitation before I declared my support for this movement, all the ppll we dey ginger, all of them don run because them they fear for victimisation. Make we go make enquires from NDDC , every body run commot. Hahahahhahhahhahaha Nigerians never stop to amaze me. Ok since those in portharcourt are running away like bush fowl, those of us wey dey far, how can we make this enquiry. I mean collective enquiry, as a group. The igbos say "igwe bu ike" I.e there is power in multitude. A bunch of broom is stronger than a stick of broom. The bunch can be used to sweep but a stick cannot be used. Hello guys, I don't like this silence oooooo, if na insult matter now, all of una go they sharp una mouth. Now we are talking on how to go meet NDDC on monday, and every one of you dey quiet. Well, pls guys, this is for our own good. Wait ooooo! Do I sense fear? So fear they catch una ? Simply because fct said a saboteur exists amongst us , that's why una run commot from this thread. This is share cowardice, what sort of nigerians are these? Wait do you think NDDC wants to sponsor cowards? My good people, let's wise up and confront our issue. We don't intend to go and protest oooooooo, we are simply going to nddc for situation report. Just to ask them as a group " what is going on? " That's all ooooooooo. We are not going there to fight anybody ooooo, or make unnecessay wahala. Its simply a fact finding mission. Yes , I think its better to go to nddc first, an hear their own side of the story! Attonery1law! I noticed! Its like you don't read through the thread. Pls read through cos we need your legal skills and guidance. task 1: to visit nddc Matters arising from tasl 1: 1) I think next week monday is fine. 2) Agenda of the visit; I tink we should write out the issues , that we want NDDC to addreSs. 3) Let's write out the persons the have to meet on the visit in case they are not allowed to see the MD. Ppl like, head of education, PA to MD, PRO, etc. 4)Let us draft possible questions and answer NDDC may ask. This will help us provide answers and appropriate questions to beat them at their game. Ok ! Since am accused always of heating up the thread, oya ! I don drop my battle axe. Emmabc1 and rajrascal , e don do! Make we concentrate on the protest abi na legitimate fight with NDDC. Thank you Attorney1law, at least you have given us a start point. Like I said am not good with activism, but 'organising' is a talent for me. I went through the thread and made a list of those who are PRO or ANTI the struggle or protest. We have 10 people in favour of the protest, against 4 people , 2 people are indifferent. I will keep updating the list as members declare their stand. Attorney1law, e be like say you be "oga lawyer" following the construct of your username on NL and the way you presented the argument. You try well well well. I want you to make a draft of the 200 word letter abi na "snippet" wey you call amm Post the draft here, so we can contribute. Pls the contribution will be for a period of time, maximum- 24hours, after which, emmabc1, attorney1law and I, will send it to the necessary media houses. Better still, every pro-struggle member will send to all our media contacts. Then, every pro-struggle member will now contact radio houses, call in on programmes that will send the information out. Note we are intellectuals, let's do this in the most organised and legitimate way. "Oga lawyer" please watch our actions and confirm its in line with the laws of the land. The only way to win this kind of war is to use the openings or lacuna in the law and circumvent the authorities, else they crush our efforts if its not based on the law.
