The only advantage is the "not too exorbitant tuition fee and bursary".

That's their name. They are licenced. Nothing to worry about. I got an offer there with 5000 pounds discount. I did not choose them because I don't actually intend going to a private university

And why is your friend saying the school is not suitable for learning?

London Bloomsbury , Moorgate, Manchester , Nottingham , “GUILdFORD” ,Hong Kong etc even in Berlin Germany
