TV/Movies › DSTV Open Week: Subscribers To View All Stations Free by bettercreature(op): 6:19pm On Apr 13, 2016 |
MultiChoice's digital satellite TV, DStv announced on Tuesday that all active subscribers will have access to premium channels as the South African brand is set to flag off its Premium Open Week. For one week - Thursday, 14 April to Thursday, 21 April - all active DStv subscribers on Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access bouquets will enjoy unlimited access to a buffet of premium channels, in the comfort of their own homes at no additional cost. Ranging from exciting movies, both Hollywood and Nollywood, sports, music, documentaries and kids entertainment which are only available on the Premium bouquet, will be available to all active subscribers within the specified period. The Managing Director, Multichoice Nigeria, John Ugbe who made the announcement, said the company’s priority is to put the needs of its subscribers at the heart of everything they do. “The DStv Open Week follows recent initiatives where the EPL, La Liga and Euro 2016 were made available to Compact subscribers at no extra cost and no price increase was implemented on DStv bouquets in Nigeria on 1 April. Both these initiatives are some of the innovative ways MultiChoice is adding more value to subscribers’ video entertainment experience, irrespective of their subscription plan. “At MultiChoice, we understand that times are tough for our subscribers who not only want to experience the best television entertainment, but do so at a price they can afford. “Our DStv bouquets allow subscribers flexibility in price and choice without compromising quality or variety. However, we also understand that our subscribers on lower bouquets would enjoy the opportunity to watch some of the content available on the higher bouquets,” Ugbe explained. He also asserted the company’s commitment to add more viewing contents to subscribers on lower bouquets as part of the company’s reward mechanism. Multichoice also launched the ‘Game of Exploras’ offer, where 1000 Explora decoders will be given away at the rate of two decoders every hour for 21 days. “All a Premium subscriber needs to do to qualify to win an Explora, is to remain active,” Ugbe added. Politics › Re: FG Releases 7,000 Outstanding Petrol Loading Tickets Of Independent Marketers by bettercreature(m): 9:50pm On Apr 10, 2016 |
IOAGEM: Fuel Scarcity Conundrum: Mistakes of Yesteryears - 1.Saudi Arabia with a population of 26m has 16 functional refineries, to commission another 2 of 400,000 barrel each per day capacity in 2016 2. The U.S State of California alone has 26, Texas has 19 refineries 3. Whereas Singapore with a population of 5.6million people has 3 refineries with combine refining capacity 1.3m bp/d; 4. Nigeria has 3 or 4 (non functional refineries) built in the 70s & early 80s...now obsolete...16 years of oil boom we didn't add even ONE. 5. We did not invest in our downstream sector, but handed out importation licenses to cronies & acolytes. Today we are paying the price 6. We are paying the price of our past profligacy, irresponsibility in governance and blind leadership. 8. For instance, Egbin power plant was valued at $1.2 billion. A German electricity company bidded but GEJ sold it to Sahara Energy at $470m. 9. Sahara had no previous records on power plant aside importation of petrol but we handed them our LARGEST thermal plant.. 10. Easier to cry today but whatever problems we see today was created yesterday with the active connivance of all of us... 11. Active connivance in the sense that we all kept quiet & looked away... Our day just dey break? 12. I am not exonerating the FG of blame, but laying the facts as they are... While you have the right to be angry, pls be angry with sense. 13. Change will come but it will not come overnight... A lot of mess was made either out of omission or commission, change will take a while 14. I am laying these facts out and I challenge anybody with contrary facts to bring it. 15. I am doing this because I feel the pain and agony we are going thru and I feel the collective hurt but we must understand why we are here. 16. I pray that the present FG will have the courage and conviction to right so many of the ills of the past. Our future depends on it. 17. May Nigeria be great again & may our collective suffering spur us to a greater sense of true nationhood. Nigeria shall rise again!!! God bless us! No source? Your head no dey there |

alizma: something their brother couldn't do for them. now an Hausa man want to do it for them but they choose to remove it so that in 2019 they will say he has not done anything for them and as such, he shouldn't be voted again. Now Nigeria has a President. we now see reason why baba insisted that he won't sign the budget until he sees the details. enemies of Nigerian progress done enter trouble as long as baba is in charge. It all boil down to the hatred for Ameachi |
