Few days back I joined a certain group ( crypto related)

lots of people also trooper into the group and within few hours group was filled..

the guy in the group gave a brief teaching

on how his Students who follow instructions get rich within 7days or less.

how he calls coins that will soon moon and give people X10 , X20 etc

yesterday he later specified that he'll only let out the information to people who have $100--$200 that's 50k $ 100k upwards..

So people went all out to get the money, knowing they will be rich based on what they we're told..

yesterday a group was created and 30+ People joined, that's for those with 50k upwards, well I joined too ��

another group was created for people with below $100 , that one had 100+ People

I ensured I joined all the group ��

when the coin was dropped, people trooped and bought in many amount..

the coin went up small, everyone was happy, in slight seconds..

something happened..

the coin went down, and when I say down, I mean really down ���

people's $100 turned $5

well that's when the room catch fire..

I was hearing things like, Why didn't you tell us about this, What will I do now �

a particular guy's cry caught my attention

he said he's been saving the money to invest in himself by Learning Crypto Trading but now he has blown the money..

would he have lost the money if he spent it to learn?

definitely not

but he went into something without adequate knowledge of it..

only 1% of people in that group actually understood Crypto for what it was..

the rest just came in to double money..

you can never lose any money you spend Investing in yourself..

if you're in School as a Student, Doing a 9-5 already, etc

you'll need the special grace of God and connection to X10 your income

but if you're equipped with the result oriented skills what you'll need to X10 your income is simply execution of the weapons in your arsenal..

before you venture into anything Learn cause it's in learning you'll Earn....

Few months back I was going through people's status..

maybe I was jobless but I can't recall ��
but then there's this guy's status that got my attention...

he said one of his viewers mum is sick and has been rushed to the hospital

he is trying to send money to her but his bank transactions isn't going through.

if there's anyone who can help send 5k to the woman's Account that he'll pay back with crypto..

and the need for the money is urgent..

well that caught my attention, Someone is dying

to make matters worse that was the only surviving 5k in my account

but I still had to choose between saving a life or flexing my 5k ��
well I chooses to save a life cause it resonate with my personality..

I sent Baba the money, Baba went offline, my consolation was he will send back the money cause I already told him that's the last cash on me, but am trusting him to let it out..

this guy disappeared offline, well I guess he went to run the woman's treatment..

the next day when he came online I immediately messaged him, he asked for my crypto address, then sent me a screenshot..

I immediately went to my wallet address to check the money..

nothing was there, I messaged him again, this time crying and very bitter..

he blocked me..

that's when I knew I was scammed oohh ���

after few days he unblocked me

checking his status he posted another happening..

well Na God help me cope after that lose.

but then there's something this scammers know that we the genuine marketers may have skipped..

they appeal to our emotions and also to our best interest..

we all want to be a part of something

so they capitalize on that..

so as an Affiliate Marketer, Entrepreneur, Salesperson..

don't just sell

appeal to the emotions of your customers

we all have a reason for making any decision

find out that reason

then pitch your offer based on that reason..

it's easier to sell to me if you're speaking my language (know my reason )

than if you're being generic..

2018 when I started online Business newly

I was as clueless as a newbie should be..

being that then not very many people got involved online like now..

I newly got admission to start my National Diploma

it wasn't funny cause I was new to the environment but also

reality began to Dawn on me, that I won't be eating as much as I use to at home ��

I got nervous..

I thought of numerous ways to support myself apart from the stipends my parents will send..

getting a job was not an option, cause of lectures..

so what will I do?

I picked up my mobile then asked Mr Google how will I make money online without capital?

as usual lots of options came out, I got confused �

scrolling down, I came in contact with NNU, the registration fee was just 1600 naira, so I risked my feeding money and signed up..

after making about 50k+ time to withdraw came, I wasn't paid..

my young mind almost went nuts..

I joined 9jaschool, and 2 others whose name have forgotten..

I even told my coursemates about it, few of them joined..

Imagine the disappointment on my face when they weren't paid..

I nearly slumped ��

still managed to go online, yes cause I believed there's something out there..

I joined a free animation class, where I was taught how to animate, after the training which I later paid for..

I practiced on my own then created a class to teach people how to animate..

guess how much I charged ����

#200 naira

and yes 20 People paid..

and I made my first 2000 online ..

you needed to see me celebrate �����

well to me that's just the confirmation I needed to keep grinding...

Giving up was not an option and will never be..

As God would have it I was given an additional year..

Before you hurriedly congratulate me..

I didn't publicize my birthday, no photos, nothing at all..

And walking pass the tarred road

I noticed some bikemen doing their business

I even called one and got a lift

Was studying them

Then I picked a lesson from them which I am sharing..

If you're a Newbie in the online world, or you've been online for a while

And you're not making good money as you should

You've been Hustling like a BIKEMAN...

I picked the bike from A.P bustop

Told him to take me to Elepe Bustop

We negotiated a price and he agreed then I climb the bike

After about 15min+ we got to our destination

I alighted, paid my fares then I watched someone else board the same bike, asking him to take her to A.P Bustop exactly where he's just coming from..

There and then I Financially realized what's wrong with alot of people online who are not making money/sales as they should in their Businesses...

1️⃣ A BIKEMAN doesn't leave his house with a Location in mind..

As someone selling online/new to the online world, it's not appropriate to get started without plan..

It's okay to just want to make money online, everybody love the sound of more money, but that's not enough location to get started with...

There should be someone who you've seen thread a particular path which you love and want to do likewise, that's a better direction than just starting out..

2️⃣ A BIKEMAN day is determined by where his customers are going to..

Now that's where the Problem is, if you're always motivated to do something because everyone is doing if, you're going to shoot yourself in the foot..

You can't be everywhere and Expect to make sales/money online..

Only you should determine where you're heading to and that should've been done before you get started on that Business..

Also the idea of jumping from one business to another just cause one promises you more cash flow is a big reason why some are making little/No money and also Little/No sales..

3️⃣. Without a Customer the BIKEMAN waits, doesn't do anything..

This is completely outrageous if you're new online, or have a business online etc

Because no one is patronizing you doesn't mean you shouldn't be productive..

There's a thousand and one things you should be doing apart from selling and making money..

That's building your mindset,
Investing into your self worth,
Spreading your business out reach to several other platforms,
Teaching People,
Mentoring ( if you have the capacity),
Learning etc

Waiting for a Customer won't take you far in making waves/sales in this online world..

There's alot to know which you might not be aware, instead of waiting for customer, learn more ..

As you stay longer in a particular Business, your eyes will be open to lots of business ideas/strategies you can use to make cool cash..

Making sales in that Business is greatly on your shoulders..

SELL LIKE MY BARBER���

Few months back when I wanted to dread my hair..

Prior to that day I had made enquires how much it would cost to lock it..

Never locked my hair though

So I was told 4-5k

Well I went there and here's how Barber pitched his offer..

There are 2 ways to lock this hair,

Firstly since this is your first time it's not proper to lock it the normal way others do

I want to pick the hair from beneath so it won't scatter and such that if people see you, they won't even see how it's been locked from beneath..

Me that doesn't even understand what he's saying was just nodding my head ��

But then how he explained the methods he will use in making the dread, I felt like it's a special kind of method..

He charged 6k..

I agreed to pay

When he was done locking the hair.

He brought out 2 types of hair cream for dread..

Said the first one is a random cream it can be found anywhere, it's for dread but it's not too good

Compared to the second one.

He said the second cream is rare to come by and to access it, it has to be imported to you, it's the best cream for this my dread, and it will make it super good and I'll not have to buy it regularly

Mehn I was feeling like a King Already�

I asked how much the cream is, he said 4k, well I paid ��‍♂️..

He brought out another spray still for the dread which I bought #1,200 ��

Me that wanted to dread hair to avoid expenses, see me spending money ��‍♂️

He finished the dread..

Barbed my hair..

Used the creams

And I looked ��

But I ended up spending 6k+4k+1200= 11,200��‍♂️

Well thats just partial of the story..

I withdrew from his place and paid from POS charges...

With the VIP treatments he gives to me, every month I spend 2k-2.5k relocking my hair

Now here's the lessons..

He didn't sell me the dread price but rather he sold status to me..

He really emphasis on how I'll look..

He sold benefits to me not features..

For once I didn't get to think how much he'll be making off me..

I was already imagining my looks using what he's offering to me..

I saw it as him helping me to look more Gorgeous

As a Sales Person..

No matter how unique what you sell is..

If you can't point out WIIFM (What's in it for me) to your customers none will buy..

Find out why your customer wants to buy something then pitch your offer based on the Problem the person wants to solve..

Don't go about annoying your customer with your offers..

I SCORED A GOAL YESTERDAY ���

Yesterday we played a match against a team in one of the leagues am playing..

It's funny how I have been in this team for 1year 6momths and I have never scored any goal��

So this time I played from the defense (Right full back) and my team was attacking the opponent..

I joined in the attack with no intention to score am a hustlers/tackler just like Kante of Chelsea..

So the ball was later passed to me for crossing

I pushed the ball forward then lift it to cross, next thing I heard it's goal��

How come??

I don't understand..

So I scored��

I didn't celebrate rather I was shocked..

My teammates were shocked as well

Even my Coach��

But that's the sweetest shocking news the team wants to Experience...

So back to our lives

They might be a particular thing you're struggling with or you're always Training yourself on..

Please don't give up, join in attacking that skills by following the process..

That's One mistakes marketers make..

If you want to sell the right way you must understand what your audience needs ( if you have an audience Already), Or Conduct a market research, sell something that's solving a Problem of people ( drive audience to the product)

You can't be selling Real Estate to an average Nigerian Student, that's looking for money for Manual�

Understand the market you want to venture

Once you've found something that's a solution..

Don't start selling like everyone else..

Educate & sell.

I learnt this today so hence a sharing

Ealier in my life I was given deep into reading by my Dad cause that man is an Addict..

So I grew up reading literally the books in his library..

Got to a point I beat him to it by reading some sort of books before he does then I'll summarize the book for him��

Well all those happened when I go home for holidays�

As time goes on I became very hungry to read..

I still feel awkward if I don't read ☹️

But when I came into the online space

I didn't come prepared I came into it just like a guess work...

But then I started reading everything I could lay my eyes on Online..

It affected my mental mirror cause I couldn't really understand which is worth implenting

Now that's an example of

*productive Procrastination*

You have attended the classes, read he PDF, watched the videos, even researched, if someone visits you you're always occupied learning, which isn't bad..

Have you ever implented any of those things you learnt?

You can read all the books on sales and learn 300 different strategies of selling but if you don't implement how will you know which of the strategies works best for you??

It's hight time we get rid of Productive Procrastination..

Dad taught me how to read but it's my obligation to implement...

Hence my hunger for Success...

But even if I read all the books on Success if I don't Implement I will forever remain a failure.

It's no more how much you read, it's the results People are looking for ...

Go lock yourself read, invest in yourself..

Come out of the closet and Implement��

If you're ignorant or Struggling with something and a solution is offered to you, take it and digest it..

You got headache, you took a step by buying the paracetamol, refuse to take it.
