Teamie, since he has full hair, covering with cap again will make him sweat. What I did that worked for me is washing his hair once a week, then I use coconut oil for his hair too. My Lo's hair is still very soft. Just sprinkle small water on it, pour my coconut oil and we are ready to go. Learnt it on this thread too.

When I used it for my baby, it made the blocked nostrils more severe. Maybe I poured plenty, I don't know sha. Just be careful with the quantity you pour.
