How are we all? We are almost there. Counting down, just 1months left. God has made it easy for us.
I hope we have packed our hospital bag, very important. Even if you haven't finished shopping, pack the ones you have gotten and then you'd know it's just to throw in the remaining ones when you get them.

Omariopat and legendsmother how are you teamies? Please pop in OK.
Don't forget to pray, pray, pray. Even all the medical instruments that will be used on you, pray for them.

To God be the glory, my princess is here. Passed my EDD and my OB asked me to come in for induction on Christmas day but I decided to enjoy Christmas rice before going in the next day. On va.ginal examination, cervix was 2cm dilated. Already I had started seeing bits of clear mucus plug for like 3weeks. Misop.rostol was introduced at past 12 midnight and within minutes, I started feeling contractions. From every 30mins to 20mins to 5mins to 3mins to 1min to 40secs. My DH was doing the timing. By the time it was 20secs apart, I was seeing stars meanwhile the doctor on duty was telling me I'm just 5cm. I said it's not possible from previous experience and begged the nurses with me to crosscheck after he had left and one said that she's touching the baby's head.. All this while, I was being encouraged to lie on my left side throughout and do breathing exercises whenever contractions hit. Anyways, within 5mins, the bag of waters broke and I began to feel a serious bearing down sensation like I wanted to poo. Called the nurses attention and on checking, took me to delivery room that the baby's head was already at the vj opening, another nurse went to call the doctor but before he arrived, God helped me and the nurses birth her, in 2 pushes she was out and the placenta followed immediately, no internal or external tear. Baby weight 3.43kg. Duration of labour: 4 hours. We have been discharged from hospital. Wishing all remaining preggy mamas swift delivery.

Work and listen to your body, don't over stress yourself. Tell someone to snap your son and show him to you. While breastfeeding him, run your hands all over him so that even without seeing him physically, you can tell the shape of his nose. It us well with you.

Hello mamas.... I am back again.... I miscarriaged in october and i just discovered I'm 5 weeks now. I went to my doctor to inform him, well, he told me i need to start Progesterone injection till I'm 12 weeks and he will also do a cerclage when im 20+. Please mama i have a few questions. Is the progesterone important (i am currently doing well) and i thought the cerclage is only recommended when necessary.

Please how much is cerclage. The injection is 25k for 6 weeks

Cerclage at 20+? Isn't that late, suggest to him to do it earlier (12th-13th week), it's better that way and has low percentage of risk.
The cost of cerclage depends on your hospital and location, but generally, it's expensive. It is well with you.

I noticed symptoms of vaginal infections before the pregnancy .. after treating it and thinking it will go..... I fell pregnant.... It is still here oooo
I am tired of it... I have used those vaginal insertion drugs and it provided relief only for a short while.

I went to another hospital(Fmc) they said I will be on bedrest till 34 weeks before I will put to bed. Please has anyone experience this?

Baby will come out beautifully without needing an incubator. The life of God is in that child, Amen,

Please put me in your prayers, I started leaking water this afternoon and went to the hospital, after scan they said my water is reduced and they will carry out elective CS for me and afterwards put my baby in the incubator. Am just 31 weeks today

Is it possible to get accurate gender scan when the baby is breech?
1st scan at 16wks plus said it was a boy (Baby was cephalic)
2nd and 3rd scan said its most likely a girl (Baby was breech) But they weren't sure, and I was asked to repeat scan when baby changes position
Now I'm not even sure if I want to know again
Think I'll go with team surprise

I love knowing baby's sex before birth cos I'm a planner, I can plan for Africa. You can check again to be sure although some people after scan tells them something else, they end up birthing another sex. Lolzzzz, we are counting down already, God is awesome.

Hi all. I'm new here. I don't know how far gone I am but my LMP was Oct 20th. Pls I need your opinions on this matter.
My hubby wants us to travel to his hometown for the festive period. I don't know how wise that is as I'm already having some pregnancy symptoms like fatigue, vomiting while brushing and serious food aversions. I do not want a situation whereby his people in the village will know I have taken in. My mom isn't okay with me travelling, though it will break my Hubby's heart if I don't go with him as this is an avenue for him to show me off to some of his family members that couldn't make the wedding. The stress of travelling by bus from Lagos to Edo is another thing, I hope it won't affect my baby. I'm torn between listening to my boo or my mom. Pls has anyone travelled to the village in the very early weeks of pregnancy and how was it? Thanks for ur responses.

I will advise you not to go, the journey will be stressful for you and the new bun, try and explain to your hubs about it. Also cos of poking eyes, I sincerely will advice you stay back. Village no dey run go anywhere.

How are you sis, may God guide you and your Lo, your expectations for that precious being must not be cut short. Adhere to all instructions from your Dr OK. The biggest Dr will make sure you pull through, Amen.

Better sleep was pushing me last night, I couldn't type. You mustn't pleasure him through sex alone. What happened to hand job or Mouth Action, your boobies if they are small like mine should have grown a little bit bigger by now, carry enough baby oil or coconut oil and pour in between, let him insert una junior Oga and fire on. You can use your hand and push your bobbies together to make it tighter for him. I know say nobi today I spoil .

Please register for antenatal or see a Dr for proper evaluation, na your health we dey talk about. If anything should happen to either you or your Lo, na only sorry and petting highest you go receive. You will be the one to bear the pains alone. You mustn't tell him you are going to the hospital, carry yourself and go please. It is well with you.
