Nice one madam Karin.

Following B2B and waiting at the threshold for take-off.

Oshodi is a good place to start although we may have to put the type of FMCG product in view for more accurate location.

I hope an 8 to 5 kind of worker can fly with this scheme?

Patiently waiting...

Karin001:
I will sign off at this point.

I intend to continue the thread later tonight.

The next post will be most beneficial to a certain segment of players on this platform.

Please gird your loins.

We are on the threshold of a memorable take-off.

Sorry, looks like it cant be stopped. I mean what will you suggest as an alternative to the act or the place to hang them or something cos they are 'undies' and cant go outside like that? Am sure some guys can relate to this, especially with their babes.

How come nobody remembers ladies panties?

This is because some ladies have the habit of washing their panties while taking a bath and they simply hang in the bathroom

RomanceRe: She Stopped Picking My Calls After Her First Visit To My House. by beyondwalls: 12:05pm On Jul 15, 2016
Hmmm, makes some sense (probably)

loadux:
I can't believe the level of depravity displayed on this thread, I mean a girl coming to visit a guy automatically equals sex. I seriously don't knw where this present generation is going.

@ op I think the answer to ur question is she simply came to visit to you just as she said, the reason she may not return ur call could be that her boyfriend found out, he suspecting you may want to make a move on his girl, caused an issue between them and she simply refused picking ur calls to show her boyfriend she committed to her present relationship.

Oga, 17 makes sense oo infact oversense dey worry am sef... U never see some area with some mutants mosquitoes...u go fear even with your net besides some dont really like net. BUt i think the point is the hygiene of the street and its environs as i recently found out. THe house can be clean (which is controllable) but the street and environs drainage, waste disposal culture..(which u probably cant control) may be zero and that forms suitable habitat for rats and mosquitoes.

samsam2019:
sorry, but your #17 makes no sense

I mean you can't afford nets in your house or what that you have to turn a house down because of mosquitoes?

Besides, no matter how you love or feel passionate about your job. There is a point you get to that all those things plateau because i have realised any job experience is a curve. It's not anywhere near perfect or linear, it's a curve of different origins, peaks, lows, flats and co depending on many myriads of variables.

Yet, it is good to have a loveable job!

Ughmm!!

For situation/country where;

the chance of studying your choice course is like winning 1m naira on bet9ja with 50naira.

you manage study a course, do masters join, the chance of getting a 'manageable' job not even a dream job is like saying Seun will be the governor of Lagos state in the next 4years.

talent development support/programs is as scanty as 500naira tomatoes now.

career programs/development is as limited/expensive as fuel.

Anyways, good write up Op. But, sometimes it takes doing shit you have no passion about to build the dream you love. If it's true dreams have no deadline, i know one day i will live fully!

FamilyRe: The Society And The Male Child by beyondwalls: 4:25pm On May 22, 2016
I did not in any way even suggest that ONLY the female child have some form of training. I said 'The female gender has a MORE robust syllabus' 'trained MORE rigorously' in this part of the world. See, it does not matter who gets the training or gets more of it, it is about the design and paradigm. Things have changed (and it is not APC change smiley). There seems to be nothing traditional about marriage anymore. There was a time, a man is a man because he wears trouser and pay the bills. That was then! Gender is being redefined likewise the roles attached. Gone are the days when females are seen primarily as home makers and males as home providers. There is a new generation on the block that has evolved, to live as if it is still the stone age of hunting and farming is boko haram + al qeada waiting to strike.

I know it is not easy to be a man neither is it easy to be a woman too. But, the crux (And i think this is Op's message as well) here is does the male child know what it means to be a man apart from having joystick, thick voice and broad shoulders? Who trained the boys to be men? Who is calling male children 'men' apart from societal pressures n dictates? Some homes are single parented even where you find both parents, the training has been abandoned to schools.

However, in the midst of this confusion of gender equality, transgender, confused gender roles, broken homes and all. There must be a basis, fundamentals that are universally consistent and non-age or time dependent. And that, should underline our 'evolve' and training of the male and female gender. So really it's about the syllabus, the design; what makes me think am a man and therefore must behave certain ways with or without societal expectations.

As for Eve eating the fruit and therefore becoming wiser than Adam. I don't agree with that. The bible recorded nothing happened to Eve when she ate the fruit until she gave it to her husband to eat. You can check again. So that cannot justify ladies maturity. Apart from early training and societal expectations other factors could be exposure. And i think i can relate with the difference between the genders apart from their obvious physical differences which is also eroding with time.

linearity:
Don't you think you are missing something? It is erroneous to summise that, only the female child have some form of training while growing up.

However, I can understand how you come to that conclusion. Within the African context, female are seen to be home-makers, while males are seen to be home-providers. While the mom of the house is busy teaching/training the female child how to do house chores, the father is training the male child how to provide for the house e.g. By going hunting, fishing, farming, etc with the male child. Society pressure and expectations also exact their own training on the male child, believe me it is not easy to be a male child and don't think they have it easy.

I don't think it is the training that makes the female child to be more mature. Even from the Bible days, in the garden of Eden with no training, the woman had more curiosity. God ordered the man not to eat of the tree of wisdom and he obeyed, but Evi will have none of that and the Bible recorded that, she ate the fruit first and became wise far before Adam, who was her senior.

Also, ladies are wired to think qualitatively, while males are wired to think quantitatively. While the lady is qualitatively seeing the beautiful synergy a new luxury vehicle will add to the family dynamics, the man is busy quantifying the money involved, garage space, speakers, lights, speed, etc.
FamilyRe: The Society And The Male Child by beyondwalls: 2:31pm On May 22, 2016
The post has got nothing to do with degrading manhood or manship smiley as someone called it.
Let me try to give the bottom line of that insightful write-up and maybe a mix of my own thoughts.

1. There is a stereotype we have for the male and female gender in this part of the world.

2. That typically dictates how each gender is being raised until the individual child is able ‘enough’ to define his/her own life.

3. The female gender has a more robust syllabus (wherever the parents got that) and is trained more rigorously while the male gender seems to have an assumed unclear direction that is based on primordial mind-sets and societal expectations especially in Africa. Every culture has its own dictates.

4. Therefore, most or sometimes ladies are more matured than guys of their equal age. And that has also lead to guys wanting to marry ladies younger than them.

5. The pain basically is the male child is not given much grooming as the female child especially in Africa. You think it’s really a man’s world? Who call you man sef all because you have dick?

6. Where did we even get the syllabus for training? Why is the syllabus still the same considering the swiftness at which change has taken over our globe? Gender roles in marriage are now very sublime. And we still want to live as though we are in 10th century….?

Just take it one line after another….I hope that is still not too much to read or comprehend.

Actually, i think the snake wen o eve because she was stronger than Adam. She was the one who could control Adam's opinion. Also you will notice that Adam was made from sand while Eve was make from bone... It was after the sin that God said she will from then on depend on the man for all time... Read that chapter again and tell me if i am wrong...
beyondwalls:
Hmmm, interesting!
I don't think the snake went to Eve because Eve was more vulnerable because why then was Alpha Adam not able to 'resist' Eve. The snake knew and still knows this truth, that let the male continue to do 'super alpha' all he needs is to get the fe-male and it is game over for both of them and the garden.
If we critically examine things, Eve or the female is not the more vulnerable or weaker one, it is the male. If the male hold this thought and that the determinant factor to his doing/undoing is the female, then our training will be taken seriously.

Hmmm! What a mental block!

Wokeyim:
I agree with the OP that most times it is the way children are brought up by their parents that causes this impropriety. I have two daughters and we only wanted two kids so i am done with kids. People have refused to accept the fact that a family can be happy or content without a male child and i keep getting subtle messages from people to try number three/four, maybe they will be boys.

A colleague explicitly asked me how i could say i was done with kids when i had not yet had a boy. Another who had two girls and then a boy kept pressurizing to try again, maybe number three will be a boy. I told her we are good with the girls and if i was ever going to consider a third child it will be because we want a third child and not a boy, and that this won't be any time soon. Her next response shocked me. She said that is still good as my daughters will have grown up by then and will be able to help me take care of their brother. So does that mean the girls are not human beings and i only had them first as a means of having someone to help me take care of an almighty son who has not even been born yet?

With mums who have this kind of mentality concerning the gender of their kids in this century, what kind of sons do you expect them to groom?

Why do you think the snake went to Eve,and not Adam, because the snake knew Eve was vulnerable like the typical female child, who is sway to be servient to the male child,Adam.
