I'm not a game person. I'm good with candy crush and other light games. My main concerns are the camera, smoothness and battery life. Pls can you gimme a honest rate of the camera in percentage? Also low light shots. It appears the battery isn't all that great.

here I have to come in. I'm currently using a Xiaomi redmi note 2.

I think the battery is cool since I don't play games and I only charge my phone once in a day(I have a power bank tho but it's as good as fake) I will rate the battery life a 7/10. You can't expect much from a 3060 mah.

For the sleekness and beauty, I'm yet to feel the the gionee s plus but it took me more than a month before I eventually got this baby and I must tell you, it's been awesome. No lag issue.

The camera is good, I will give it an 8/10. I will also attach the pictures I took with it. And there are many beauty apps that you can use and you'd be wowed eg Prisma

As a lady that you are, I don't think you will have issues with the battery it's should still go for 7 hrs on average usage and about 10hrs on light usage (I stand to be corrected). To extend your battery life, find someone to root the phone for you with kingroot and apply the Purify app attached to the kingroot app. It will help you close down unused app and thus, will help extend your battery life.

Cons: I noticed whenever I switched my phone off, it powers itself up and switch off again. Don't know what the problem is so I'm always removing the battery at night whenever I want to sleep

In all, I think it's a good buy and value for money

used the Samsung s1, dropped it at a charging shop, before I came back from teaching(was serving then), they've demolished the kiosk. my fone and d owner of the shop disappear.

bought Samsung s2. was robbed at nya-nya around 10pm.

bought s3, it slipped out of my pocket in a cab. I didn't know.

started using s4. was snatched at berger, wen I was playing candy crush.

bought s5. na dis one pain me pass. went to spend some days at my frnds house, they use a pit toilet. wanted to use the toilet.
the phone was in my pocket. I removed my trouser, wanted to fold it, before hanging it. na so my fone and my wallet fall inside the pit.

since then, I knew I have bad luck with Samsung fones. had to switch to sony xperia.

I could still relate to your s5 story, I was using Nokia then, so I dashed to my friends house to use his toilet due to troubling stomach. Omo, as I enter the pit latrine toilet, I hurriedly pulled off my trouser forgetting that there is my dearest baby at my back pocket. Oboi! Phone stylishly slipped into the pit and I rushed outside immediately like who just ran mad. It was after I got outside I remembered that I still needed to poo and there is nothing my friends could do about it.
I just majestically walked into the toilet to pay my last respect to my darling dearest.
When ever I remember this day ehn....and I try the MTN number in that phone, Na one useless Hausa man go pick am dey tell me "Nagode"

Can't really tell where it should be, plus your phone on a computer and search for it or on your phone go to security, then tap 'cleaner'. After cleaning tap on 'deep clean', then tap' big files '. Scroll until you see the downloaded rom. When you find it, tap on it and click file. From there you can move it to any folder you want.

Wow, now that you are rooted, I can't guarantee if the normal process will be safe for you. Mine is rooted too but have not done any update since then. Am waiting for miui 8 global stable rom which should be out in a month's time. If you can't wait then you should visit the miui forum for help. The normal process is for you to tap on tools, then 'updater' then check for update. You can do the update and follow the next steps:
Connect your device to your Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable, and copy the ROM file you downloaded into the folder ‘downloaded_rom’(you can create the folder yourself if its not there already) in the internal storage of your device. Launch ‘Updater' app on your device, then click the ‘…’ icon at the top-right corner, select ‘Choose update package’, and choose the ROM file you’ve put in ‘downloaded_rom’.
After choosing the right ROM file, your device will begin upgrading. Your device should automatically boot to the new version when the update is completed.

bro, I did the update and can't find what I downloaded. I was asked to reboot which I did. But when I check my phone info, it's still the same custom ROM. How do I find what I downloaded so I can do the next thing?
