After admission was given. UWL is a good school but it’s an expensive environment. And once you get here, you need to pay the tuition balance in the first three months of study plus London is generally expensive. I hope you had a plan or bring good funds with you o.

my total fee is 13,750 and my initial deposit is 10,250. Paying the balance of 3,500 should not be a problem, I believe.

When u go der to book for appointment, they will give a paper for confirmation of ur test date, in the paper d account number to pay to is der, u pay before the day of test

Check their website for bank details. It's Standard Bank.

According to the information here,is very difficult to book online,you can try but if you're not getting closer date,you need to go to IOM for manual booking.

Pls my question is " can I do the tb test on passport with me dat will expire August or should just wait for the new one so as not to affect my Visa"

It’s been a long and bumpy journey but God has been good to me.
Applied for a visiting visa and got denied in October 2021 for lack of evidence of sources of funds and travel history.
Started the student visa process immediately with hopes of japa-ing in January.
I’m a third class holder and didn’t want premasters because of the funds involved so I started applying to different schools, Coventry was the first to give me admission but the fees was just too high. Oxford Brooke’s followed with Birmingham city uni and I chose Oxford Brooke’s because it was direct masters for management in health and social care with 13,900 tuition fees. Paid the tuition deposit and then they refused me cas because I declared my previous visa refusal to their Isat, they said they were afraid I will get another refusal. I was so devastated cos at the them they did this, I had already missed Coventry’s deadline(Dec 18th). I already had my tb test result and had to start all over applying to schools and looking for Jan start. I eventually got University of west London and sunderland the same time. Sunderland also refused me cas because of my previous visa refusal. I had to go UWL even with the 10k deposit required. Did their precas interview and passed but they too denied me cas because of my previous visa refusal! At this point I didn’t know what to do again, time was going, pof was ready and only cas remained. I now sent them a very lengthy mail explaining myself and situation that moved them and they offered me a deferment instead to June as I wasn’t going to be able to make January start when they responded. They gave me a new offer and issued my cas on the 9th of April.
Biometrics was on the 11th of April
1st paid mail 11th of may, no decision made
Got slammed with NSF mail requesting nothing on the 13th of May
Second paid mail 17th of May no decision
Third paid mail 24th of may, decision made
Application transferred to VAC on the 26th of May
Collection mail same 26th
Picked up today
Tls-VI
Documents submitted: cas, pof, waec certificate, passport data page and bsc certificate(self service).
5years study gap.

Congratulations, at what stage did UWL requested for your POF? Before or after the admission was given?

Were you referred to an agent because I was and they have given me a deadline of July 5th to get back to them.

There is no hospital cost, you need to discuss with your university so as to give you more time to complete your course and also support your visa extension

what if it’s the dependent that got pregnant? Will it still come at no cost? Can the student apply for visa extension too?

hi, please there is a part in the registration that I seem not to understand. I have uploaded my transcript but I am still seeing a part where I need to fill the transcript (level, subject, grade etc) did you fill it during your application or you just uploaded the transcript and submit?

From my experience, IELTS is not hard, there are YouTube channels that teach on how to study for it, my advice is that you do a lot of practice tests (you’ll find them online). 6.5 is just slightly above the mid mark, you should be able to hit it if you practice enough.

Yes, I wrote the exam on the 9th of April. It is achievable if you practice well. The exam needs a lot of practice. You can join the online classes and also Youtube videos will be very helpful. You can get practical questions using this link https://practicepteonline.com.

However, it could be delayed if “IELTS decide that is necessary to review any matter associated with your test or the administration of your test”. as contained in the T&C.

LSBU requested for IELTS o. I even wrote them a letter requesting I provide a proficiency letter from school, they still declined o. And they want 50 person of the fee to be paid in July, 25% in Dec and 25% in January.

This is not true, maybe the person is an undergraduate.
I don't know if there is job in Lincoln but it's close to Sheffield, where one can stay and I heard there are a lot of jobs there.
My tuition after discount is 9900, cheapest I have gotten so far, aside that they have a very flexible means of payment .
So it's a good school to consider

They clearly insist on IELTs while stating they don’t require WAEC. You can also ask if you can get a letter from your school stating you were taught in English.

1. Pass IELTS Academic 6.5 overall, with minimum 6.0 in Speaking and Writing, and minimum 5.5 in Reading and Listening. (WAEC is not sufficient) 2. I am in dilemma right now as to making a right choice. Please i need advice from those of you that has previously studied or been to any of the above mentioned uni's. Let me know what you think of about the one to accept because i dont know much about the uni's . However, the informations that i got from their website is insufficient. Hence,

Flywire with Form_A is the cheapest means of paying tuition (known to me).

Flywire only charges £18 and they are about the fastest payment channel out there. When you now combine this low rate with our formA, then you've saved yourself a whole lot money and time.
