As a web, mobile and desktop developer, I can say it has to do with your bargaining power.
Some junior developers are paid as low as 80K while others are paid up to 250K. But don't ever settle for a job less than 150K as a junior developer, don't try it. But the truth be say, junior developers get grade sha, make we no lie. Some wey dey claim to be junior developers are interns in disguise.
I dey interview one guy online one day, he claim say he don get like 3yrs experience for JavaScript. My questions were:
1. What are the biggest and smallest numbers in JS?
2. What is true+1+"1"+1?
The guy flop anyhow without any hint but I no dey access person with algorithm test sha. But that aside, the minimum salary of a junior developer should be 150K, but it has to do with ur bargaining power.

I don talk am before and I go talk am again "the day I go mistakenly born girl pikin eeh, I go *****"

I want to learn programming.

Software development na blood money oooo. I paid 300K to learn just Java at NIIT back then. I would advise youths to go into it because it's the only business you can start up without need a capital in 9ja. It's the only good job you can get in 9ja without needing a BSC. Though I've left Java sha, but the experience I got from Java gave me advantage to learn JavaScript (React and Node), Python (Django) etc.
Instead of you to go do ashawo or yahoo, go learn programming and thank me later. If you no fit get access to materials, I go help to give you some. It's my little way of taking menance from the street grin

Religion / Islamic View On Charli Charli Game by bhassan20: 7:41pm On Jan 12, 2021
Islamic View on Charli Charli Game

I was at the confusion on the dusk of Wednesday 6th of January 2021, when I heard a friend of mine made mention of something going viral on social media called Charli Charli, I took it with laxity thinking is of usual slang as what life turns until it's widespread necessitate this article.

Charlie is one of the legends crafted by creative minds over the centuries modeled around spirits and demons. Charlie is said to be a demon that is called upon to answer questions in an internationally popular game called Charlie Charlie that has gripped the Internet.

The game involves balancing two pencils in a cross shape over the words Yes or NO on a paper. Players ask questions that are supposedly answered by the mysterious demon named Charlie, who moves the top pencil by rotating it.

If the pencil rotates to Yes, it means what they are asking is correct, and if otherwise, it should be left out. Meanwhile, the game first emerged via Twitter and caused a craze worldwide in 2015 before it slowly crept in. Not until recently that later hit the media again en mass.

How did they play this game? They play it by saying.

Charlie Charlie are you there? it would respond by moving the pencil to yes afterward, you ask your questions, and you must take permission from her before leaving.

Allah(SWT) created Mankind, the word of Jinn, and the word of Animals. Among the Jinns, there are believers, and likewise non-believers.

'Amongst us are some that submit their wills (to Allah), and some that swerve from justice. Now those who submit their wills - they have sought out (the path) of right conduct'. (Q72vs14).

Islam believes in the existence of Jinn and warns Muslims against the evil ones among them, from whom the unbelievers sought unknown and unseen matters. Playing the Charli game is not more or less going to soothsayers, and the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has warned us not to go to soothsayers or fortunetellers, let alone of believing their messages.

"Whoever goes to a fortuneteller and asks him about something, their Salah (prayer) will not be accepted for forty nights."

Narrated by Muslim

"Whoever goes to a soothsayer or a fortuneteller and believes what he says, has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad. (peace be upon him)."

Narrated by Al-Bazzar with a good Isnad (chain of narrators)

Allah alone knows what is hidden.

"Say, none in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allaah." [Quran 27:65].

Some Muslims take the matter lightly and make it merely a fun game, but it's capable and enough of taking one out of Islam. Beware of tribulation that will not only affect you alone but also those who nears you. The game has afflicted a lot of evil things in the life of those who played it.

"And fear an affliction which may not smite those of you in particular who are unjust, and know that Allah is severe in requiting (evil)." (Q8vs25).

Muslims should hold firmly to the oneness of Allah, without attaching or ascribing anything to him. The best action of a Muslim is to ask about a matter before engaging in it. Muslims should live his life as a prisoner on this earth surface, while the hereafter is the final abode. The prisoner here means restricted from copying all that non-believer are doing.

It is haraam for the Muslim to play the Charli Charli game because the player calls upon the Jinn, which comes under the heading of seeking the help of the Jinn, and the ruling on going to fortunetellers and soothsayers. All of these are haraam things.

May Allah guide us all from the deceitful act and make Jannatul Fridaaus be our final abode.

(Amin).

Education / Re: I Regret Going To The University by bhassan20: 6:53pm On Dec 31, 2020
ostechno:

Education is not necessarily schooling, infact schooling is just a small part of education. We are in the age where schooling is less effective for self development. In school, students are made to compete for grades, the schooling system 100 years ago is still thesame as today, Every other things have changed, did you know people have different way of learning, some prefer learning when they are alone, some learn buy drawing, some people won't understand what they read in a book untill they watch videos, some learn by commiting themselves to practicals only, but school has always remain thesame, go to classroom, the lecturer teach all students who has different convinient way of learn thesame way, in the end, you get thesame exam for grading, some will fail, some will pass excellently. The way people are being lectured in school today doesn't help student discover themselves, they put that fear in you and limit you to only what you're being taught. A while ago when I was in secondary school, the teacher gave us an exam, he asked us "what are some examples of tools used for 'something'", I gave him the answers of the tools I've learned by myself online, and he marked me wrong, because he didn't know about it. Don't let what you're taught in school limit you, self discovery is what matters the most.
When I was in 100 level, our lecturer asked us to give examples of Operation System in CPE 101 class, the someone said Android OS, and the lecturer asked, is Android an OS?, I said to myself WOW, these lecturers are outdated. These people live in 19th century.
Alot of thing have changed but they don't know, new things are being invented everyday, if you limit yourself to what you're taught in school, you can never invent any good. Please use the available tools (most especially the internet) to discover yourself, you'll be surprised how the wold is changing.
Another thing about student who limit themselves to school is that "they are not good decision makers", students can't come up with original ideas again. Don't be surprise the exams you write is affecting student, the teacher choose for you, they choose the questions they give you, you're made to choose answers from objective questions, is it A, or B, or C or D. students are not allowed to come up with original thought again, they're made to choose, things would be worse now that most university wants to start making all exams CBT, all the questions would be objective. This alone affects student's ability to make decision In real-time.
All I'm going to say is don't limit yourself to what they teach you in school, everything is changing.
At the moment the world is even better off without the current schooling system. That's why I love Finland so much, the have the best schooling system in the world but it's still not good enough
To me, the internet is the new universities the and it can be a source of 90% of what you'll ever learn, 90 percent of the things I know today is not what I learned from school, its the power of the internet.
Peace
