Scholarship: You Can Be President, Governors, Ozo Jeff Tells Recipients
Philanthropist and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Shield Security company Ltd, Ozo Jeff Nweke has told recipients of his Scholarship Scheme that they can reach the zenith of their ambition if they be of good behaviour by facing their studies.
Ozo Jeff spoke in Awka when he admitted four new students in Nnamdi Azikiwe University into the Ozo Jeff scholarship scheme, through the universities.
Handing over huge sums of N1million and N1.5 million to each of them respectively for first quarter of the year to enable them procure necessary things for their education, he charged them to eschew cultism and other evil groups that cut human ambition short.
Ozo Jeff told the beneficiaries namely: Ngama Hope Chidera- English language and Literary studies; Okonkwo John- Statistics; Alieze Samson- Education Management and Policy and David Emmanuel- Philosophy: "all those characteristics that paved way for you to secure this scholarship should not depart from you. In fact, I implore you all to add more to them so they will reflect in you to be better human beings as you all have the traits of being President or Governors in future.
"You have the potentials of great achievers but if you do not work hard to maximize those potentials in you, they will all perish in you", he said.
He urged them to watch their life style and peer influence and be prayerful.
According to him, for those who have made it in life it wasn't by mere sudden flight but through hard work because while their companions were busy sleeping, they were toiling in the dark.
Director of Ozo Jeff Education Scholarship Scheme, Ikechukwu Chinweze in his speech said that the programme has run for two years and that Ozo Jeff has done more than this in the previous years by taking the academic responsibility of many other newly admitted students.
The programme he said is strictly a sponsorship on education to tertiary institutions and Ozo Jeff has spent not less than N100m since its commencement.
He also explained that the scholarship offer transverses throughout the entire states of Nigeria as beneficiaries were drawn from different states.
To qualify for the offer, the school authority of the beneficiary must be contacted to enquire about his or her socio-moral conduct and the person’s academic conduct must be screened before forwarding any successful names to the foundation.
One after the other, the beneficiaries in their speeches thanked Ozo Jeff for his benevolence.
Okonkwo John offered Scholarship to read Statistics thanked him for finding them worthy to spend his hard earned money in their academic pursuit and prayed that God will keep replenishing his purse and give him more courage to continue helping the downtrodden.
Ngama Hope for English language and Literary studies in thanking the Benefactor said: "This is just the only hope I have for attending my academic pursuit and fulfilling my aspirations. I can only say ‘Thank you’ to our life saver, destiny helper, an angel in disguise.
"You know, I started paying my school fees from primary three through hair braiding because a lot of things happened which made me to move from home and by staying with people as a house help just to go to school.
This is a major breakthrough for me, it’s a major push because I never knew that I am going to further my education", she narrated tearfully.

ocnovakmichael: Sir, I got your point and share your passion also. However, becoming a member of the body of Christ is not a function of joining an organization such as CAN or being validated by any one of the so called "great men of God." One who is a member of the body of Christ is one who confess Jesus as Lord, who have been baptized, who fellowship in the same faith in Christ.
On the one hand, what is a cult? Do you know if BBC were to exist in the day of our Lord Jesus they would've called him the leader of a cult? For instance, the Lord Jesus once said to his disciples: John 6:53-56 [53]Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54]Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55]For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. [56]He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
If this statement were made in this day of the internet, the whole world would've gone bizzack. Myriads of Media houses would've said, they are practicing cannibalism in Christendom. But this they don't understand because Jesus was not talking about his literal body and blood but faith in his death, resurrection and blood.
In the final analysis, we have no right whatsoever to judge another man's servant but we have the right to judge righteous judgment, pray for them, and correct them in love if necessary. Romans 14:4 [4]Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
I don't see anything wrong here, people too dey overdo this days, I can't obviously tell you everything about me, I've got to have some secrets and privacy if am to live long enough to see my plans work out.
People simply think because they're in a relationship, friendships or just because they know someone, they feel the have the power to know every single thing about the person, it's not always so, not everything is to be shared, especially when it doesn't affect the nature of your friendship or relationship with a person.
I don't know the nature of their relationship, but for the guy to do what he did then he must have a very important reason for doing so which cannot be explained too.
I would have understood the rant if it were to be his wife.
KingAzubuike: I swear from the video, they lack coordination. It looked more like a militia group. A militia group would do better self. Communication too was also poor. If this is how nigerian soldiers have been fighting in the north east then no wonder they've been battling them for more than a decade.

Questions : Part A: If you think Mohammed was Literate 1. Knowing that Mohammed could read and write, why do you think that the preferred Islamic Narrative is that he was Illiterate?
Part B: If you think Mohammed was Illiterate 2. Haven read the hadiths presented, why would you still say that Mohammed was Illiterate? 3. Why did Jibril command Mohammed to read if he cannot read? And how come he still couldn't read after this command
onuman: Please don't carpet all Yoruba. The Yoruba MURICS who look towards Sokoto for directions are mostly the ones who make all the anti Igbo noise online. They also insult their non Muslim Yorubas. They enjoyed Awolowo's free education but misuse their education on religious bigotry. The majorly Christian Igbos therefore is their major target for showing of their Islamic extremism and prejudices.
