i think dandy that u r surrounded by those type of people cos i see differently.my sister for instance is a banker, a manager o.she gets caught up wit work and is so busy but mennnn she cookssss delicacies.the kinds of food that takes time and coordination.my sisters inlaw too, the same.enough variety.maybe its cos of where i am from sha.
its a personal thing.
but the guys fall in love with such "lazy" babes and marry them,probably cos they are good in some other areas, if u kno what i mean .

This is the most ignorant post that I have read on NL in a long while. Which Igbos converse with eachother in English Language? The ones in Alaba? Ladipo, Yaba? Balogun? Trade fare? Abeg which one. Some of you become so inferior that you begin to mouth off utter ignorance, just because you want to be accepted by your non-Igbo friends and look neutralized. Imagine the way you are busy in your ignorance boldly rapping about how it is not encouraged in your home and bla bla bla, Are you the man of your home or you play second fiddle to your non-igbo wife to keep the peace, you wimp of a man. Little wonder Igbo is dying in your house, speak for yourself, don't ignorantly clump others to share in your folly.
I know your yoruba pals like it when you sound self defeatist but which of them will even admit it that even their own language faces thesame threat? No? At least I know for a fact that Yoruba people make up to 45% of the Nigerian population in London, how many of their kids there can actually speak fluent Yoruba without any resort to helping themselves in English when it gets difficult. You all are quick to run your mouth and talk about Igbo parents, when right under your noses, you are confronted with thesame problems. Solve your problems before talking in judgemental tone about other tribe in your myopic views. Igbo language dying? What a laugh, you lot should leave lagos a little bit and interact with core Igbo bred families and childrien in the east and see how stooopid many of you sound.

A good number of your people from your state are also enjoying prosperity of life and good education in my state too, many have not even been to their home town before because of good life offered to them, my state has offered your people with scholarship, security, education and many poverty alleviation programs. You thought I'll tell you my state of origin so that you'll quickly engage me in tribal talk. For your information, I'm not a tribalist and I'm not against progress too.
