flyway1: There is a newer guide (2020/2021) on the Campus France website. I followed the newer guide that was sent to me and my visale application was rejected because "Your address is not in France or in a border country, you are therefore not eligible for Visale." so i'm confused. |

Boyhood: No the person used Gabon as country. The France there can't be modified that's why it was left that way. Read the last instructions very well it's clearly says if you do not residence in France yet, use 99999 as the postal code and put the city and country you currently reside thats why the example on the form filled his city/country which is city Libreville and country Gabon The instructions says the FRANCE cannot be edited so you have to leave it that way. Okay i think i get it now. But the current form is different from the one in the document as the country can be edited and there's a dropdown with multiple countries. So maybe i'll just stick to France as country then use my current residential address here for the rest and also follow the postal code in the doc. Thank You

A question for anyone that has done the VISALE process and can explain what is in this doc.
Since I'm not yet residing in France, The doc states to put postal code as 99999 and France, so which address do I actually put in place of the address (Nigerian address/accommodation in France?) because from the example in the doc, it was the person's home address and not the one in france that is there but still followed the other instruction of using 99999 as postal code and France as country. So it's a bit confusing.
If you understand, please help. Thank you

babtoundey: I just got this response in reference to my application for MCgil MasterCard scholarship
The Department of Linguistics at McGill had our final admissions meeting last week. After careful consideration of the application files, we regret to inform you that we are not able to offer you a place in our program. This year we received 188 applications for about 6 places in our program. The applicant pool was exceptionally strong, which made our final decisions particularly difficult. We thank you very much for your interest in our program, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours, wherever you decide to do your graduate studies to achieve your academic goals. Best wishes, Life goes on! If you can, you can apply to PTDF. Application is still open. All the best |

Ifedolarpo: This is the message i got and deadline is on January 2. Kindly take down the image as you are not supposed to expose the email address as stated in the mail. Also, there might be hope if they respond to you on the 2nd but then again the possibility is slim because your references need to upload by the deadline too. |

koukoura: Which stage of the application process are you working on? If you met the eligibility requirements, you might have submitted your application package for the MasterCard foundation scholarship. after submitting the package, you would receive a link to apply formally to ubc for your program of choice. The online application. I was saying maybe each department has their own separate criteria for the online application. As it is tailored to each program |

kayzee2374: For the conversion bro..you can use wes unoffical calculator to convert from 5.0 scale to 4.0. All you need is to log on to Wes site and input the units of the courses you did with the grades you obtained mayb A, B C an d likes. Immediately you are done, the conversion will be send to your mail but I will advice you to do it twice so as to be sure you inputed the correct values.
Pertaining the questions you asked, I think the mail was just trying to let you know the required part but to be on a safer side, input all from A to Z since they have your transcripts for more clarifications..best wishes Thank you |

UBC people, please explain. Thanks. Please record your GPA or academic standing (4-point scale, letter grade or percentage). How do we convert to a 4-point scale?
You can include your overall standing and/or your average in your 300 and 400 level courses, your undergraduate average and/or your graduate degree average. I also don't understand this part well. Does this mean like the last two years of undergraduate because some of us did 5 year courses |

Ifedolarpo: Thank you so much, it worked.
This is what they sent to me so they will waive it for us. Dear.... I have attached instructions on how to waive the application free in the email. Please follow the directions and let Deidra (contract information inside) know if you have any problems.
I have also contacted Deidra to let her know you are eligible.
So they attached on how it will be done. Did you reply to the email they sent you to apply or you sent a fresh email requesting for a waiver and how long did it take to reply? |

Education › Re: Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, Enter Here by Bicle: 6:44pm On Dec 17, 2019 |
Thank you coscj: Yes, I received it. That was after I emailed MasterCard requesting for it. The mistake our folks here made is that they mailed the university directly without recourse to MasterCard. So for those that got a regret from the university, please go ahead and send and email to MasterCard, u will get it. |

If you're someone that likes going to ancient tourist sites then this is for you. You should read the story behind the Ogbunike cave before visiting so that you'll understand what you see. Although the cave guide will also be helping with these things and you can only tour the place with a guide. |
